Hola Prime Launches Performance Coaching Initiative to Tackle the #1 Barrier to Trader Success: The Mind

Yahoo30-05-2025
NEW YORK, NY, May 30, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In proprietary trading, success is often measured in percentages and profit curves. But behind every chart is a human being, and according to Hola Prime, one of the fastest-growing prop firms globally, that human element is the most overlooked edge in trading. To address this critical gap, Hola Prime has launched a new Performance Coaching Initiative, bringing psychological resilience, discipline, and emotional intelligence to the forefront of trader development. The firm has onboarded two accomplished professionals - Lara Leon and Stanislava Puac Jovanovic - and aims to solve what the firm calls "the #1 barrier to consistent trader performance: the mind."
"We've funded traders all around the globe, and the pattern is clear - strategy alone doesn't make you consistent. Psychology does," said Somesh Kapuria, CEO of Hola Prime. "Our Performance Coaching Initiative is built to tackle that challenge head-on."
Prop firms often compete on speed, funding, and payouts. But Hola Prime is betting that the next evolution of trading support won't be just financial - it will be behavioral.
Whether it's FOMO, overtrading, revenge trading, or the inability to recover after a loss, psychological missteps are responsible for more failed trading careers than poor technical knowledge. Despite this, few firms invest in helping traders build emotional resilience, daily structure, and self-awareness.
Hola Prime's new program is designed to fill that void, offering one-on-one performance coaching, guided psychological routines, and mindset-focused support for its funded traders. The goal is not short-term motivation, but long-term, measurable consistency.
Globally Renowned Performance Coaches
To drive the initiative, Hola Prime has onboarded:
Lara Leon, a performance coach with over a decade of experience in psychology and active trading. A psychotherapist by training and a trader by passion, Lara blends cognitive insight with technical market expertise - covering order flow, volume profiles, and multi-timeframe analysis. Her coaching focuses on building internal discipline, trade journaling, and walking through emotional pitfalls with clarity and structure.
Stanislava Puac Jovanovic, a psychologist and life coach with over 15 years of experience across education, coaching, and systemic psychotherapy. Certified in CBT, REBT, assertive communication, mindfulness, and NLP, she brings a holistic understanding of emotional regulation, stress management, and performance psychology - tools essential for thriving in high-pressure trading environments.
Both coaches will offer traders structured frameworks to improve risk management, build sustainable habits, and enhance decision-making under stress.
This initiative marks a shift in how prop firms support their traders - not just with capital, but with cognitive and emotional infrastructure.
For Hola Prime, performance coaching is not an add-on - it's a foundational investment in trader longevity. At a time when retail traders face increased market volatility, higher expectations, and rapid information flow, support is more essential than ever.
"The future of prop trading belongs to firms that understand one truth," said Kapuria. "The edge isn't just in the market. It's in the mind."

How Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Plays a Key Role in Alcohol Addiction Treatment

Alcohol addiction, clinically referred to as Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD), is not merely a matter of willpower or poor decision-making. It is a complex interplay of genetic predisposition, neurological imbalances, psychological distress, and maladaptive behavioral conditioning. Individuals struggling with alcohol addiction often face distorted perceptions of control, impaired judgment, and deep-seated emotional conflicts that perpetuate the cycle of abuse. Recognizing this intricate framework is crucial to understanding why cognitive-based therapies, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), are instrumental in addressing alcohol addiction at its psychological roots. Overcoming dependency on alcohol is a deeply personal journey that requires structured guidance and consistent encouragement. With the right tools and mindset, individuals can rebuild a life once overwhelmed by substance use. Alcohol Addiction Treatment involves a combination of medical supervision, behavioral therapies, and peer support groups to address both physical withdrawal and psychological triggers. Family involvement, relapse prevention plans, and lifestyle changes all contribute to lasting recovery. Although each person's path is different, professional help dramatically increases the chances of success. Commitment and patience, paired with expert care, can lead to a healthier, more fulfilling future. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy emerged from the groundbreaking work of Dr. Aaron T. Beck in the 1960s. It is a structured, time-limited, and goal-oriented form of psychotherapy designed to dismantle dysfunctional thought processes and behavioral patterns. Unlike psychoanalytic approaches that delve into the unconscious or purely behaviorist models focused on external reinforcement, CBT operates at the nexus of cognition and behavior. It posits that negative thought cycles directly influence actions, and by altering these cognitive distortions, behavioral change becomes attainable and sustainable. This rational, evidence-based framework makes CBT uniquely suited for addressing the cognitive traps inherent in alcohol dependency. CBT tackles the psychological underpinnings of alcohol addiction through several targeted mechanisms. First, it identifies automatic negative thoughts—those spontaneous, irrational beliefs that often serve as precursors to drinking episodes. These might include catastrophic thinking ('I can't cope without alcohol') or overgeneralizations ('I always fail at everything'). CBT empowers individuals to challenge and replace these thoughts with realistic, constructive alternatives. Second, CBT enhances emotional regulation. Many individuals drink to escape or dull painful emotions. By learning to process discomfort in a healthy manner, clients reduce their reliance on alcohol as a coping mechanism. The therapy's systematic approach fosters metacognitive awareness—where individuals observe their thoughts and emotional triggers without succumbing to them, creating space for more deliberate decision-making. CBT applies a suite of pragmatic techniques tailored specifically to alcohol recovery. Cognitive restructuring is at the heart of the process. This involves dissecting and disputing harmful beliefs related to alcohol use and replacing them with evidence-based rational thoughts. For instance, the belief 'a drink will calm me down' is challenged by examining the long-term consequences of that drink and exploring healthier alternatives for stress reduction. Behavioral activation is another core element, encouraging individuals to engage in positive, fulfilling activities that reinforce sobriety. This not only fills the time once occupied by drinking but also reconditions the brain to associate pleasure with non-alcohol-related experiences. Exposure and response prevention, though more common in anxiety treatments, can also be adapted for alcohol triggers. Individuals are gradually exposed to environments or situations where they previously drank, while practicing alternative coping mechanisms, thereby desensitizing the urge and building resilience. CBT is often most effective when integrated into a comprehensive treatment plan. For individuals with severe AUD, combining CBT with pharmacotherapy—such as naltrexone or acamprosate—can yield synergistic effects. While medications target the neurochemical aspects of addiction, CBT addresses the behavioral and cognitive components, resulting in a holistic approach to recovery. Group-based CBT also offers distinct benefits. Sharing experiences with others in recovery fosters accountability, collective insight, and mutual encouragement. However, individual CBT allows for more personalized treatment plans, especially for those with co-occurring mental health disorders. Therapists can adapt interventions based on the client's cognitive style, emotional triggers, and recovery pace. The clinical efficacy of CBT in treating alcohol addiction is well-documented. Numerous longitudinal studies show that individuals who complete a course of CBT have higher abstinence rates and reduced relapse frequency compared to those receiving non-specific counseling. One of the most potent benefits of CBT is its role in relapse prevention. By equipping individuals with durable cognitive tools and coping strategies, CBT extends its impact far beyond the therapy sessions. Moreover, CBT encourages a sense of agency. Patients learn that they are not passive victims of their addiction but active participants in their recovery. This psychological shift fosters long-term motivation and self-efficacy, essential components of lasting sobriety. Despite its robust framework, CBT is not a panacea. It requires a baseline level of cognitive engagement and introspection, which may be limited in individuals with severe neurocognitive impairments due to chronic alcohol use. In such cases, preliminary stabilization or adjunct therapies may be necessary before CBT can be effectively implemented. Another challenge lies in patient readiness. CBT demands consistent participation and the willingness to confront uncomfortable thoughts and behaviors. If the individual lacks motivation or insight, the therapy's benefits may remain untapped. Thus, motivational interviewing techniques are often employed as a precursor to CBT to enhance treatment engagement. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy stands as a foundational pillar in the treatment of alcohol addiction, addressing the cognitive distortions and behavioral patterns that fuel substance misuse. Through structured interventions, individuals gain the capacity to challenge destructive beliefs, regulate their emotions, and cultivate healthier habits. When paired with other modalities and tailored to the individual's needs, CBT offers a scientifically validated and profoundly empowering path toward lasting recovery. TIME BUSINESS NEWS

Bitcoin Price Tests Support and Resistance – HashJ Launches Execution-Focused Daily Participation Contracts for BTC

London, United Kingdom, Aug. 01, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — MGPD Finance Limited, doing business as HashJ, today announced the official release of a new short-term participation contract focused on Bitcoin (BTC), designed for users navigating a market at a technical crossroads. The launch follows a period of directional indecision in the BTC market, as traders assess whether recent price action marks a consolidation phase or the early stage of a sustained move. At the time of publication, Bitcoin is trading near key round-number resistance levels following a sharp intraday rebound. Despite this recovery, overall trading volume remains subdued, and technical signals point to a market approaching a decision threshold. Analysts suggest that a sustained increase in volume could signal a renewed upward breakout, while a breach of the lower support range may introduce renewed volatility. HashJ's new daily participation contracts aim to provide execution-focused strategies for users seeking consistent returns amid market uncertainty. These BTC-linked contracts offer fixed-term structures with simplified access, enabling users to engage in market-linked reward cycles without the need for continuous manual adjustments. Market Structure & Momentum The current structure shows Bitcoin recovering from a 'deep V' formation and now trading in a narrow range. While resistance at round-number levels remains intact, the support zone formed by two recent pullbacks has shown resilience. Market observers note that the price is 'queued at the gate,' awaiting a clear trigger — either a breakout with volume or a breakdown past key support. The sideways action, while frustrating for short-term traders, may be a sign of momentum accumulation. Key Technical Takeaways Trend: The daily chart maintains a steady upward slope, with higher lows still respected. Support and Resistance: Watch for follow-through near recent highs and previous rejection zones. The lower boundary is supported by two prior rebounds. Volume Confirmation: Sustained volume growth above resistance could signal a new leg higher. A break below support, however, could trigger a wave of deleveraging. Execution Strategies: Wait for Confirmation : Engage only after the price clears major resistance levels with volume. : Engage only after the price clears major resistance levels with volume. Expert Insights on Bitcoin Market Dynamics Michael Saylor (Strategy / formerly MicroStrategy) – Michael Saylor's firm, Strategy, recently surpassed 500,000 BTC in holdings, executing aggressive purchases even during recent market pullbacks. Cathie Wood (CEO, ARK Invest) – Cathie Wood has characterized Bitcoin's sideways trading in recent months as 'extremely healthy,' suggesting it aligns with early institutional adoption trends. She notes the Bitcoin‑to‑gold outperformance curve supports a bullish risk‑on framework for the asset class. Peter Schiff (Euro Pacific Capital) – While less enthusiastic, economic commentators like Peter Schiff have cautioned about macro pressures—especially high interest rates and dollar strength—that could threaten Bitcoin if key support levels are breached. Historical analogs in tightening cycles suggest potential for sharp corrections if momentum fades Navigating Uncertainty with Participation Discipline The recent trading pattern is akin to a convoy stalled at a toll gate. If volume picks up (i.e., the gate lifts), price may accelerate. If not, further congestion or pullbacks are likely. In such situations, execution — not prediction — becomes the differentiator. HashJ's new offering is designed to help investors maintain discipline through consistent daily settlement and position scaling flexibility. Rather than rely solely on market timing, strategies incorporating incremental entries and a regularized income curve can add structure to volatile environments. Product Launch Overview HashJ's newly introduced BTC participation product allows users to access daily-settled positions that deliver consistent returns without requiring infrastructure setup. Funds are allocated toward digital asset contracts that settle every 24 hours, and participants may choose between withdrawing proceeds or opting into automatic reinvestment. New users can access a welcome package valued at $118, comprising $100 in contract trial credits and $18 in platform cash. These can be allocated to BTC, DOGE, or XRP short-term participation contracts. Strategy Execution in Practice Breakout Entry : Enter after price surpasses key resistance with follow-through.
