'The pride, resilience and unity that define this team define the very best of who we are.' He added: 'What Sarina and our Lionesses have achieved is nothing short of remarkable. So recognition is coming – and it will be worthy of their historic success.' The Government, he said, was committed to delivering a legacy of 'equal access to all sport for girls and boys' in schools – a key demand from the squad after their 2022 triumph. 'The Lionesses have made an entire nation proud,' he said. 'We're determined to deliver a legacy they can be proud of too.'

I fear that will be the case with Hibs as well, which will only help their bitter rivals. Then there's the Dons, who we know will be playing league phase football until Christmas. That's what did for Barry Robson two years ago as his side fell off a cliff in the league. The question is has Jimmy Thelin recruited well enough to deal with it this time around? Monday will give us an indication of where Nicolas Milanovic, Kusini Yengi and Kjartan Mar Kjartansson fit in. All the indications are there will be more new faces to come. But they need time to settle, that's not something teams get a lot of when they are playing Thursday/Sunday/Thursday. Thelin has credit in the bank and rightly so. The Cup win was a remarkable achievement. But he needs to steady the ship and help them be more consistent. If he doesn't? I have a hunch ex-gaffer McInnes and his Jambos will leave them trailing. Helen hopes to move to London eventually, but for now, they are planning to stay where they are to avoid disrupting her kids' education. However, the soap star admitted that she will struggle to downsize from her lavish eight-bedroom house. Helen put the six-bedroom property on the market for £1.5million but in June she slashed more than £300,000 off the price. The couple, who have three children together, bought the property at Belmont, near Bolton, in June 2021 for £840,000. It has five reception rooms, six bathrooms and six bedrooms including two en-suites. The house is situated on the edge of moors and is said to have 'breath-taking views'. after being brutally trolled for posing in sexy lingerie.
