BISHKEK (WAM)Kyrgyz Republic's never-say-die attitude saw them grab a last-gasp goal to hold United Arab Emirates to a 1-1 draw in their AFC Asian Qualifiers™ – Road to 26 Group A tie on Tuesday.Kyrgyz Republic's late salvo at Dolen Omurzakov Stadium saw them end their campaign on eight points while Cosmin Olaroiu continues to wait for his first win as UAE head coach with his side finishing on 15 points.The result qualifies the UAE for the AFC play-offs that lead to the World Cup, which will be held next October.The UAE's goal was scored by Harib Abdullah in the 30th minute, while Kai Merk scored for the Kyrgyzstan national team in the 90+5 minute.In another match within the same group, the Uzbekistan national team defeated the Qatar national team 3-0 in Uzbekistan.With this result, the Uzbekistan national team raised its points tally to 21 points, and the Qatar national team remained in fourth place with 13 points, also qualifying for the AFC play-offs.

But at the moment, Pratika has joined the squad probably four or five days prior to the ODI. The depth is stronger, it's getting stronger." "We had that in our mind when we came back from Sri Lanka and we started our preparation for this tour. We were on the same page, all of us, including the selectors, thinking that there's a World Cup in 2026, same place, in England, so we've picked the squad accordingly.' said Muzumdar. Muzumdar believed India's England outing this year will hold them in good stead for the T20 World Cup. 'We've started on a good note, I guess, winning the T20 series here against England 3-2, that too the first time ever. So it's a pleasing result. The preparation has already started.'

PSG coach Enrique warns on complacency in Club WC final
Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique on Friday urged his team to round off the best season in the club's history by winning the Club World Cup, but warned not to expect Sunday's final against Chelsea to be a 'simple formality'. 'This is absolutely not going to be a simple formality,' the Spanish coach insisted, refusing to accept that PSG are necessarily overwhelming favourites to lift the trophy at MetLife Stadium despite their fearsome form. 'I have analysed Chelsea. They have a great squad. Enzo Maresca is doing a great job and I really like what he is doing,' Luis Enrique said. 'They are a very complete team.' PSG can complete a remarkable clean sweep of trophies with victory, having won a French league and cup double before claiming the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history at the end of May. 'We want to finish this historic season in the best possible way,' said the former Barcelona coach. 'Now we must open the next chapter, win more major trophies. We want to make more history by winning on Sunday.' PSG were spellbinding at times in their 4-0 victory against Real Madrid in the semi-finals and also put four goals past Atletico Madrid and Lionel Messi's Inter Miami during the competition. 'But we have to win this game to round things off. However, in a final there is always a winner and a loser, and that doesn't mean the loser has necessarily done anything wrong,' Luis Enrique added. 'We will lose again at some point, because that is what happens in top-level football, but I think the path is clear for everyone.' This is the first edition of the 32-team Club World Cup, and whoever wins on Sunday will be world champions for four years, with the next tournament scheduled to take place in 2029. 'We are aware of the importance of this match, that it is a golden opportunity to be in a World Cup final,' said captain Marquinhos. 'Now nobody is talking about this -- everyone is talking about Chelsea, the way we play, the way we win games, and this personally is the biggest achievement.' The Italian added that he was optimistic pivotal midfielder Moises Caicedo would be fit for the final after coming off with an ankle injury just before the end of the semi-final against Fluminense on Tuesday. However, Noni Madueke will not feature in the final as he stood on the verge of completing a move to Arsenal on Friday evening. 'Noni is in contact with a new club. I guess that he is going to leave in the next hours,' said Maresca. 'If players want to leave, in the end it is difficult for the club and for the manager. 'No-one said to Noni he had to leave.
