Jack Perry Isn't On AEW TV, He's Home Making Knives Out Of Pine Cones
Last year, Jack Perry appeared regularly on AEW TV as a member of The Elite. Joining the faction helped him win the TNT Title. However, after he lost the title to Daniel Garcia at AEW Full Gear. Since the loss, he has stopped showing up on AEW shows. Even though he hasn't been on TV, he wrestled a few matches in NJPW.

His most recent match was in January at Wrestle Dynasty, a crossover event between NJPW, CMLL, and AEW. He faced Yota Tsuji for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Title. Despite a strong effort, Perry came up short in the match.
Recently, Perry gave fans an update through Instagram, showing that he's been spending time at home making custom knives out of pine cones.
Perry has shown off his artistic skills in the past, as he made his own custom version of the TNT Championship during his reign in 2024. Perry showed a step-by-step process of making the knives, including the blades and the custom pine cone handles set in resin.
Tony Khan reflects on brutal assault by Jack Perry & The Young Bucks
Jack Perry returned at AEW Dynasty last year and helped The Young Bucks. The same week on AEW Dynamite, Perry called Tony Khan to the ring and attacked him. The rest of The Elite came out to stop him only for the Bucks hit Khan with their new move, the 'TK Driver.' Right after the attack, Perry joined the Elite.

Speaking on Sedano & Kap, Tony Khan shared his thoughts on being hit by the TK Driver. Khan claimed that it was not intentional; rather, he was a victim of The Young Bucks' efforts to take control of the company.
'That was not by design. I was a victim of the spike piledriver, the deadliest move in professional wrestling. It was from one of the greatest tag teams of all time, the Young Bucks. They are the Executive Vice Presidents of the company, along with Kenny Omega. And they were trying to make a power play. I'm the President, they wanted to control the business, so they put me down.
Perry who had once again tried to attack Tony Khan during the Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing 2024. He was set on fire by Darby Allin with a flamethrower, Khan shared his thoughts on the shocking moment.
'They spike piledrived me, but I survived and showed up at the NFL draft in a neck brace. Wrestlers went out for revenge, a man was set on fire. Jack Perry, Hollywood royalty himself, the son of Luke Perry, was set on fire by Darby Allin, coming to my aid.'

Cody Rhodes recently opened up about his time at AEW, and revealed he felt disrespected at times with the company. Speaking to The Ringer in a recent interview, Rhodes opened up about his time with AEW, and the bad blood the two have. Rhodes noted that feeling disrespected in WWE was something he could take. However, feeling disrespected at AEW — which he helped popularize — was something he couldn't. 'There's clearly bad blood,' said Rhodes. 'But there's also clearly respect and love. The Young Bucks in WWE? Stranger things have happened, but Scott D'Amore can still see it being possible. D'Amore published the latest edition of his 'D'Amore Drop' column on Yahoo's The Uncrowned. There, he recapped AEW's huge All In: Texas event, which saw Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland beat the Young Bucks. Due to the match stipulation, the Jackson brothers lost their EVP titles. D'Amore believes the Young Bucks, who were EVPs and with AEW since day one, have done it all in the company. It might not happen now, but he can see WWE calling again, and maybe this time the Bucks go chase a WrestleMania moment of their own. 'Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland beat the Young Bucks, with the gimmick the Bucks are no longer AEW EVPs. You had the top stars of tomorrow beating the guys who helped build the company. The Bucks — Matt and Nick Jackson — have done everything there is to do in AEW as characters and as real-life executives,' D'Amore wrote. 'Hmmm … It's no secret WWE wanted the Bucks badly before they helped form AEW — and I can see Matt and Nick, not tomorrow, but at some point — maybe deciding it is time to go have a WrestleMania moment like fellow AEW founder Cody Rhodes did,' he added. D'Amore was released by Anthem Sports in February 2024 and replaced as TNA President by Anthony Cicione.
