My Chemical Romance Snags 10 New Song Certifications
In the 15 years since My Chemical Romance released its last album Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, the band has remained relatively quiet following a split, and an eventual reunion. Some fans have expected new music from the group, but for the most part, very little has emerged for a long time – but followers of the emo rockers never stopped listening. Millions of people across the United States continue to buy and stream the band's full-lengths and singles, and that's clear as the group scores several new honors.
My Chemical Romance Earns 10 New RIAA Certifications
My Chemical Romance collects 10 new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The music industry organization recently announced that those 10 tracks have collectively moved another nine million equivalent units, factoring in both actual purchases and streams on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and others, adding to the group's already-impressive cumulative total.
Five Songs Earn Gold Certification
Half of My Chemical Romance's newly-certified tunes reach gold status for the first time. That group includes 'Disenchanted,' 'Sleep,' 'House of Wolves,' 'The Sharpest Lives,' and 'This Is How I Disappear,' which have all moved half a million units in America alone.
Two Go Platinum, One Reaches Double Platinum
Both 'Mama' and 'I Don't Love You' are now platinum-certified cuts, as they've moved one million equivalent units. Meanwhile, 'Famous Last Words' advances to double platinum status, which means it has shifted two million total units.
"Welcome to the Black Parade" Goes Seven-Times Platinum
'Welcome to the Black Parade' continues to lead as the band's highest-certified release. Since it was last named a five-times platinum smash in October 2021, the track — which appears on The Black Parade — has moved another two million copies, and now stands at the seven-times platinum level.
Just one million units behind it is 'Teenagers,' which also adds two million equivalent units to its total and becomes a six-times platinum smash. 'Teenagers' had previously been tied with 'Helena' as the band's second-highest certified track, after 'Helena' skyrocketed from gold to four-times platinum in April.

Mandy Moore calls out husband Taylor Goldsmith for saying he's seen 'A Walk to Remember': 'He lied'
While one of Mandy Moore's favorite roles is Jamie Sullivan in the romantic drama A Walk to Remember, her husband Taylor Goldsmith apparently has not seen the classic 2002 Nicholas Sparks movie adaptation. The This Is Us actress stopped by the Not Gonna Lie podcast and told host Kylie Kelce that her singer hubby recently fibbed about watching the film to a friend. "I think he lied the other day," she said. "Somebody was like, 'A Walk to Remember is so sad.' He's like, 'Yeah, so sad.' I'm like, 'You've never seen it.'" A Walk to Remember was the former pop star's first foray into acting. Moore said she really wanted the role because she was a massive fan of author Nicholas Sparks. Over two decades after the movie's release, she shared that it's "incredible" that young people are still discovering Jamie and Landon's (Shane West) bittersweet love story. "I loved this story and, you know, to eventually get the part and be a part of telling this story was just like a real boon," she for Goldsmith, Moore said she may make his first watch of the melodrama a family affair, although they'll have to wait a few more years. "Maybe one day we'll have, like, a group viewing with with our kids when they get older," she said. Listen to the entire episode of Not Gonna Lie with Mandy Moore below. Hallmark Star Alison Sweeney and Husband Dave Sanov Have the Sweetest Love Story
Days of Our Lives and Hallmark star Alison Sweeney is married to Dave Sanov. The couple first met as children and later reconnected when they were in their 20s. The duo have been married for 25 years and share son Benjamin and daughter Megan. Whether she's starring on Days of Our Lives or helming the Hallmark Channel with a myriad of different movies, Alison Sweeney is someone many people recognize from over the years. And as she's very much in the public eye, she also keeps folks updated on how much she loves her husband, Dave Sanov. When it comes to the two's road to romance, Alison and Dave's history goes way back. The couple initially met as kids, due to their parents being friends. What's more, Dave's dad and Alison's mom had a unique commonality that only they could relate to. "His dad and my mom play the violin for feature-film soundtracks, so we've actually known each other our whole lives," Alison told Access in 2019. "I totally had a crush on him when we were kids." Eventually Alison and Dave lost touch, when she went to star on Days of Our Lives and he attended college. When they saw each other again at a party both of their parents were throwing, Alison had to invite Dave to her 21st birthday party. As she explained on the Live Your Days podcast in September 2020, they bonded and began dating shortly after that. "We had such a great time, and we had so much fun getting to know each other again as grown-ups," she said at the time, per People. "And the rest is history." The couple wed on July 8, 2000, and have been together ever since. They later welcomed their son Benjamin Edward in February 2005, and their daughter Megan Hope completed their family in January 2009. What's more, Benjamin has gotten a taste of his mom's work by working on her 2023 Hallmark film A Zest for Death: a Hannah Swensen Mystery. Just as Dave is supportive of Alison's ventures in her career, she's equally as proud of his accomplishments. When Dave retired from being a California Highway Patrol officer after 27 years, Alison made sure people knew just how much the moment meant to their family. "It is a big deal to retire," she explained when she appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show in November 2022. "We're pulling people out of the woodwork to come be a part of this event. There's a lot of surprises we've planned for [Dave]. He's so excited." No matter what the couple is doing, it's clear that Alison and Dave are still in love over two decades later. As Alison noted when she celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in July 2025, she adored how they have a plethora of memories together that span many years. "Can you believe it? We're celebrating our 25th anniversary tonight. ❤️❤️," she wrote about their love on Instagram. "Time flies when you're having fun. We had a wonderful dinner sharing memories and telling each other that we look exactly the same. Lol. 😂." We love this for them! The Last of Us season 3 will 'definitely' arrive in 2027, HBO boss says – but I'm still terrified they'll stretch it out for another season
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. HBO Max boss has said The Last Of Us season 3 might be the show's end This news comes after co-creator Neil Druckmann stepped down to focus on other projects The second season proved divisive among fans and critics based on each season's Rotten Tomatoes score The Last of Us season 3 is set to arrive in 2027, so fans will have to wait a little while to see new episodes on HBO Max. Season 3 will move forward with showrunner Craig Mazin. According to NME, HBO's Francesca Orci revealed that there had previously been conversations with Mazin that suggested the show could run anywhere between three and five seasons. But now, it seems there's a chance it could stop at season 3. HBO boss Casey Bloys told Variety: "The series is definitely planned for 2027. Craig is still working it out whether it will be two more seasons or one more long season. It hasn't been decided yet, and I'm following Craig's lead on that." So right now, The Last of Us' long term future at HBO is unconfirmed, but we do know that season 3 is arriving at some point in 2027. The Last of Us' Neil Druckmann will not be back for season 3 There's been some big changes to The Last of Us since the first season. Most notably the departure of lead actor Pedro Pascal as well as co-creator Neil Druckmann, who has stepped back to focus on other projects. Druckmann is celebrated for his work on the original The Last of Us video games and helped to influence the adaptation. He previously spoke about The Last of Us show's timeline change and seemed positive about it, calling it "worthwhile", so he's definitely helped to make the series the best it can be. Speaking about Druckmann's departure, Bloys said to Variety: "It was fantastic to have Neil involved. A lot of people don't realize that Neil has a full time job creating video games and running Naughty Dog. "It's a really big job that he's got. So I understand why he needs to focus on that. But I believe he's given us a good blueprint with the show. And obviously Craig is a pro, so I think we'll be in excellent shape. I'm not worried at all." The Last of Us season 2 has a much lower audience score on Rotten Tomatoes than the first season, scoring 37% vs season 1's 86%, so it will be interesting to see if a continuation of the series beyond the games will land well with fans. Personally, I'd be okay if The Last of Us ended with season 3 because sometimes less is more.
