Joely Richardson, sister of Natasha Richardson, gushes over Pamela Anderson, Liam Neeson
Joely Richardson, the sister of Natasha Richardson, who died in 2009, commented on Instagram photos that Anderson shared of herself and Neeson in celebration of the actors' new movie "The Naked Gun."
Several of the playful black-and-white photos show Anderson, 58, and Neeson, 73, goofing around with a popcorn bucket, while the Aug. 1 post's final two images see the costars engage in an impromptu photoshoot with a camera.
Much of the comments section was filled with congratulatory messages complimenting Anderson and Neeson's joint project, as well as their purported new couple status. "I did not have Pam and Liam on my 2025 Bingo card … and I can't even describe the happiness I feel for them ❤️👏💕," @taraphotog wrote.
Richardson joined in on the warm sentiment, commenting with string of red heart emojis: "❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️."
Neeson was married for 15 years to British actress Natasha Richardson, from 1994 until her death at age 45.
Natasha, best known for her roles in "The Handmaid's Tale" movie, "The Parent Trap" and "Maid in Manhattan," died after a seemingly minor fall while skiing at Quebec's Mont Tremblant. The actress initially waved off medical care, but her head injury turned out to be fatal. She and Neeson shared sons Micheál and Daniel.
Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson: Actors spark romance rumors with affectionate red-carpet moment
Pamela Anderson, Liam Neeson spark romance rumors on 'Naked Gun' promotional tour
Anderson and Neeson have been at the center of dating speculation as they promote "The Naked Gun," a slapstick detective comedy starring Neeson as LA cop Frank Drebin Jr. and Anderson as his unexpected partner in crime, the femme fatale Beth.
The actors sparked romance rumors at the film's London premiere on July 22. As they posed at the red carpet's step-and-repeat, Anderson leaned up and gave Neeson a smooch on the side of his face. While taking photos with one of the film's producers, Anderson was also seen clasping Neeson's hand around her left hip.
Days later, Anderson and Neeson poked fun at their flirty chemistry in a July 28 interview with "Entertainment Tonight." As Anderson leaned in for a near-kiss from Neeson, an "ET" red-carpet reporter said they were "so close," before Anderson said, "Yeah, so close." Neeson chimed in, "We're pros."
'Are you two an item?': Pamela Anderson, Liam Neeson dodge dating rumors on 'Today' show
The following day, Anderson and Neeson were confronted about their affectionate dynamic during a July 29 interview on the "Today" show. Coanchor Craig Melvin bluntly asked the duo if they were dating: "You're both single right now. There's clearly chemistry on display throughout this film. Are you two an item?"
While the pair balked at the question, Neeson conceded that he and Anderson "discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry as two actors" during production on "The Naked Gun."
In an Instagram post recapping the film's New York premiere July 29, Anderson's caption included a not-so-cryptic message of her own: "Love is in the air."

'South Park' is leaving HBO Max as the show gets a new streaming home
"South Park" fans don't have long to binge their favorite dark comedy on HBO Max before it leaves the platform for good. All 26 seasons of Comedy Central's show are set to depart Warner Bros. Discovery's streaming service on Wednesday, Aug. 5, according to HBO Max. The exit comes after Paramount revealed an exclusive five-year licensing deal with Park County, the entertainment company founded by series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. HBO Max subscribers in the United States have enjoyed the entire show's library for the past five years. Since its 1997 premiere, the animated comedy has been renewed season after season, arguably due to its raunchy humor that makes satirical digs about pop culture and politics. The new season has already stirred controversy over its July 23 episode that depicted President Donald Trump cuddling in bed with Satan, his lover, using actual photos of the president crudely placed on an animated body. In a statement to USA TODAY, White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers said the show "hasn't been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention." Paramount Global reported a ratings milestone with the episode, titled "Sermon on the Mount," becoming the show's most-watched season premiere since 1999, with viewership up 68% from the Season 26 premiere. Where to watch 'South Park' now? All seasons of "South Park," including the 27th season, are now available to stream on Paramount+. New episodes will hit the service the day after each one airs on Comedy Central. What time does the next 'South Park' episode drop? The newest episode of "South Park" Season 27 is set to drop Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. The episode will be available to stream on Paramount+ the following day, Aug. 7, at 6 am ET/3 a.m. PT, according to the streaming platform. Putin's ‘secret daughter' laments father who killed ‘millions' and ‘destroyed' her life as she pivots to support Ukraine
Russian President Vladimir Putin's alleged secret daughter spoke out against her father in a cryptic post condemning the man who 'destroyed' her and 'took millions of lives.' Elizaveta Krivonogikh, a 22-year-old art school graduate living in Paris who is believed to Putin's youngest daughter, shared the messages on her private Telegram, in line with her increasing openness on Instagram as she's started to share more images of herself. 4 22-year-old Elizaveta Krivonogoikh is supposedly Vladimir Putin's secret love child. social media Advertisement 'It's liberating to be able to show my face to the world again,' she wrote, Bild reported. 'It reminds me of who I am and who destroyed my life,' she added. The Telegram chat, dubbed 'Art of Luiza,' references her work pseudonym Luiza Rozova. Advertisement Krivonogikh didn't explicitly name Putin in either post, but has also never shot down the popular theories surrounding her true parentage. The budding artist was born in 2003 after a suspected affair between Putin and her mother, Svetlana, the president's then-housekeeper. 4 Putin has never confirmed the rumored love child. POOL/AFP via Getty Images The bombshell was first revealed after a 2020 investigation by Russian media outlet Proekt, citing her 'phenomenal resemblance' to Putin. He isn't listed on her birth certificate, but 'Vladimirovna' was included, translating to 'daughter of Vladimir.' Advertisement In 2021, slain journalist and Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny exposed Krivonogikh's Instagram, which highlighted her life of luxury and her family's staggering wealth that many have attributed to their connection with the disgraced Russian president. 4 Krivonogikh returned to social media and slammed her rumored father. Instagram / luizaroz__ While Krivonogikh originally celebrated life in the spotlight, she retreated after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2021 and her Instagram was suddenly shut down. She's since returned, but was more reserved at first, hiding her face in many photos. She's now seemingly changed her tune — and swapped sides on the devastating war after previously mourning her inability to 'make an extra lap around my beloved St. Petersburg.' Advertisement Krivonogikh has since denounced her previous Gucci-encrusted lifestyle of obscene wealth and speaks openly against her supposed father's massacre in Ukraine while working in a Parisian art gallery specializing in anti-war works. 4 Krivonogikh also denounced Putin's invasion of Ukraine. AP Krivonogikh also adopted an extra pseudonym, Elizaveta Rudnova, inspired by Putin's late ally Oleg Rudnov — a cheeky stab at her elusive parentage. Still, critics of Putin haven't quite bought her reshaped image and insist that she shouldn't be working in a space where she could be interacting with Ukrainians, regardless of her stance. 'Am I really responsible for the activities of my family, who can't even hear me?' Krivonogikh wrote. Putin is also rumored to share two secret sons, a 10-year-old and a 6-year-old, with his former gymnast fling and Olympic gold medalist Alina Kabaeva.
