A STAR Wars health and safety boss with an MBE for cultural awareness is suing after being sacked for calling a colleague "white man".
Sadi Khan, who worked on The Acolyte, was the first woman of colour employed as a head of health and safety on a Walt Disney series.

The single mum from Nottingham is suing the production company for unfair dismissal after being sacked for referring to a colleague as a 'white man'.
She worked for Blue Stockings, which is owned by the Disney subsidiary Lucasfilm.
She is suing Blue Stockings for unfair dismissal, sex and race discrimination, harassment and victimisation after she was dismissed for gross misconduct in November 2022.
Ms Khan also worked as the health and safety co-ordinator on Disney's controversial remake of Snow White.

The mum, who is of Pakistani heritage, claims she was sacked after blowing the whistle on unsafe working conditions.
She was awarded an MBE in 2018 for cultural and religious awareness and training and services to the vulnerable.
Ms Khan told an employment tribunal in Reading: 'If it was Tom Cruise saying they have to take health and safety seriously, they'd have listened to him, but they took no notice of me," The Times reported.
She claimed there was a 'campaign' against her.

The tribunal heard Ms Khan was sacked for referring to a bloke who was hired in a more senior role as a 'white man' and for 'making inappropriate comments' to her colleagues.
But she insisted she said it in a "factual" way, and didn't mean for it to be derogatory.
Blue Stockings denies the allegations, and the case continues.

And in one very cute video, posted by McCall Cook, a little girl called Hazel June is seen running up to Anna from Frozen, hugging her, and refusing to let go for more than two minutes. In the video, liked by 3.3 million people, Anna constantly talks to Hazel and asks her questions, remaining in character throughout the long hug – and Hazel even goes in for a second embrace. Hazel's mum McCall captioned the video: I THINK SHE BROKE THE RECORD WHAT DO YOU THINK? 'The Disney hug rule means that characters are to never let go of the child's hug first and to allow the child to hug as long as they want! 'I think hazie wouldve sat there all day long if there wasnt a line behind us haha.' The adorable video has more than 10,200 comments - and people are welling up. One said: 'I'm sorry but how do you not break down crying every time this happens?' Another added: 'Why does the Disney hug rule always make me cryyy����❤️❤️healing that inner child in me.' A third said: 'This is so pure and innocent ohh my heart.' But a few people also wondered whether the parents should've stepped in to break up the hug, and let the next child in the queue have their turn. One said: 'As a parent, I would have stopped it earlier.' Another blasted: 'The parents should know that the hug went on for way too long as they put the Disney worker in an awkward position.' It comes after a Disney World visitor ignited a heated debate on social media after claiming she was denied access to a ride due to her 'inappropriate' gym attire. Nicole Arena, a personal trainer from the U.S., took to TikTok earlier this month to document her experience during a visit to Orlando's Walt Disney World Epcot park with her husband. Dad's heroic dash to save daughter after she went overboard on cruise
Shocked passengers looked on in horror as a young girl tumbled from a Disney cruise ship into the Atlantic Ocean on Sunday, triggering a frantic rescue effort. The terrifying moment unfolded aboard the Disney Dream as the ship was sailing back to Fort Lauderdale from the Bahamas. Within minutes, Disney crew members also sprang into action lowering a bright yellow rescue vessel into the sea. 'We are on the Disney Dream at sea today and just witnessed a first on a cruise,' passenger Dewayne Smith wrote in a Facebook post, documenting the chaos with photos and video. 'A little girl fell overboard and her dad jumped overboard to try to save her. Man overboard calls went up immediately. The Disney crew went into action asap. Lots of praying folks on this ship! Both the little girl and dad were both successfully rescued.' 'Ten-ish minutes later a lifeboat drops and they find the people within 3-5 minutes of that. The man treaded water for at least 20 minutes,' one person detailed online. Video from Smith showed the yellow Disney rescue vessel bobbing through the rough waters as crew members hauled the child and her father aboard, while worried guests looked on from railings. A wave of relief rippled through the ship once the pair were safely aboard the rescue boat. Passengers watched in stunned silence then could be heard bursting into applause as the pair were saved. 'It was so intense to watch,' recalled another passenger, Janice Martin-Asuque, in a Facebook post. Disney Cruise Line later praised its crew for the incredible save. 'The crew aboard the Disney Dream swiftly rescued two guests from the water. We commend our crew members for their exceptional skills and prompt actions, which ensured the safe return of both guests to the ship within minutes. 'We are committed to the safety and well-being of our guests, and this incident highlights the effectiveness of our safety protocols.' Although no serious injuries were reported, questions remain about how the child managed to fall over the ship's plexiglass safety barriers. Deck 4, where the fall took place, includes a jogging track and is lined with protective panels.
