JEE Advanced Results 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur today announced the results and toppers for the JEE Advanced. Candidates who appeared in the examination can check their respective results and final answer keys through the official website at jeeadv.ac.in. The JEE Advanced 2025 exam was held on May 18 in a computer-based test (CBT) format.

Rajit Gupta from the IIT Delhi zone has secured all India rank (AIR) 1. He has scored 332 marks out of 360. According to reports, he scored a 100 percentile in JEE Main for both sessions 1 and 2.
In the previous session exam, Ved Lahoti emerged as the JEE Advanced topper with a record score of 355 out of 360. Here is the list of toppers:

To be included in the Common Rank List (CRL), candidates must meet both the subject-wise and overall qualifying marks. The aggregate score will be calculated by adding the marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
The maximum possible aggregate score is 360, with 180 marks allotted for each of Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each subject—Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry—has a maximum of 120 marks, with 60 marks allocated for each paper in every subject. Candidates need to satisfy the qualifying marks for each subject as well as the total to be considered for a rank.
Maximum aggregate marks: 360 (180 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)
Maximum marks in Mathematics: 120 (60 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)
Maximum marks in Physics: 120 (60 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)
Maximum marks in Chemistry: 120 (60 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)
Qualified candidates will now proceed with the Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) 2025 counselling process to secure admissions in institutes, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other government-funded technical institutes (GFTIs). The registration and choice-filling process for academic programs under JoSAA will commence on June 3, 2025.

IIT-BHU's summer internship concludes

Varanasi: The Centre of Excellence on Machine Tools Design (CoEMTD) at the Indian Institute of Technology, BHU concluded its six-week summer internship programme 2025 on Monday, offering an enriching experience in cutting-edge Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) using the Cold Metal Transfer (CMT) Technique. Organised under the guidance of JP Misra, the programme attracted over 70 interns from premier technical institutions across the country. The internship aimed to provide participants with hands-on experience in one of the most promising areas of additive manufacturing. The interns worked on live research projects, participated in workshops and technical sessions, and received mentorship from faculty members and industry professionals. The curriculum blended theoretical understanding with lab-based practical learning, helping interns develop both conceptual clarity and technical expertise. "This programme wouldn't have been possible without the unwavering support of the CoEMTD team. The interns worked hard, showed curiosity and professionalism throughout," said Misra.
