Lawless's "Forget The Filler" in a variety of delectable flavors (birthday cake!!!) — it'll hydrate your lips overnight (similar to Laneige's repairing sleep mask) and make your pout fuller. It's made of shea butter, hyaluronic acid, and a stimulating peptide complex that work so magically together you won't ever want to run out.
Clinique Almost Lipstick Tinted Lip Balm in Black Honey that has been *all the rage* on TikTok (which is how you know it's good). It's lightweight, has a touch of gloss to it, and the shade will have you saying "mhmmmm, honey!" from the second you apply it.
Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream featuring scent notes of vanilla, pistachio, and salted caramel you'll enjoy applying to your skin just as much as you'd like it as an ice cream sundae. It's also filled with vitamin E, caffeine, coconut oil, and guarana extract to help smooth, firm, and hydrate your skin.
A motivating daily planner that literally says "You've got this!" at the top — it'll also look oh-so-cute on your desk or fridge and has sections to keep track of appointments, how much water you're drinking, a to-do list, what you ate (meal prep, perhaps?!) and a general notes/doodling area.
Gradient tempered glass for your iPhone — it'll act as a privacy screen (sorry to the Nosy Nancy sitting next to you on the subway, they won't be able to see your texts to your mom), will help filter blue light, prevent your screen from scratching, and add a little bit of *~flair~* to your phone in the process.
A dazzling candle warmer with a lampshade reminiscent of a high-end crystal chandelier you'd likely see in the middle of a ballroom on Bridgerton.
And a fan favorite Otherland candle that'll make your home smell divine while also adding a pretty piece of decor to the room. If it were acceptable to soak your entire body in a candle scent....you'd like want to choose one of these.
E.l.f's Lash Xtndr Tubing Mascara you'll be racing to add to your cart after seeing reviewer photos. It features a lightweight tubing technology that magically wraps around lashes, transforming them from *drab to fab* without taking away from your natural look.
A facial steamer for anyone who adores soaking up the steam from their too-hot showers but is leaving you all pruney. This lil' machine will let you reap those same benefits but from your bed (ooooh). It creates "nano-ionic" steam that penetrates skin to soften, hydrate, open up pores, *and* help relieve sinus congestion.
A "Soft" perfume rollerball you've likely seen come up 9,000 times on your TikTok FYP. (Or is that just me?) Reviewers are in love with how incredible it smells and how magically it seems to layer with other scents — oh, and the fact it's only FIVE DOLLARS.
A flower-shaped pill organizer that'll last you a whoooooole lot longer than those supermarket flowers you picked up earlier this week — for a pill organizer it is *quite* aesthetically pleasing, and each "petal" is detachable, so if you're spending a night or two away from home you can pop 'em off and take only what you need with you. 🌸
Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray, which smells so freakin' good you might just get distracted from how wonderfully it works! All you'll have to do is spray it onto caked on food and grease, wait a lil', then rinse or wipe it away to reveal a perfectly clean pan.
A set of stoneware bowls that are so lovely and well made they could easily be mistaken for a West Elm item — their depth makes them perfect for everything from salad to cereal *and* they're dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.
A cute and functional crossbody bag — order it in pink or purple for a pop of pastel or any ol' color because, honestly, they all look fabulous.
E.l.f. Power Grip Primer that'll become one of your most reached for products in your makeup routine — it's packed with hyaluronic acid to keep your feeling moist all day and goes on clear, making it the perfect foundation to build your makeup on top of.
A steering wheel desk for anyone who often finds themselves trying to quickly catch up on some work while waiting for their kids to wrap up a dance class or happen to enjoy eating lunch in solitude during the work day.
Marc Anthony Grow Long Leave-In Conditioner Spray that'll immediately become part of your daily haircare routine — it's packed with vitamin E, caffeine, and ginseng, which should help you in your on-going fight against frizz and breakage.
Trendy flare leggings, you've likely seen all your fave influencers rockin' and wondered to yourself, "Can I pull that look off?" There's only one way to find out, friends — at this *very* affordable price of less than $20, you might as well give 'em a chance!
La Roche-Posay Lipikar Triple Repair Moisturizing Cream to help revive the dry skin of everyone in your household. It's safe for babies, children, and adults, so it'll help you reduce the number of products on your bathroom vanity! It's non-greasy and formulated with shea butter and niacinamide to help restore the skin's protective barrier.
And a duo of Aquaphor Lip Repair Tubes because I'm sure I'm not the only one suffering from extremely chapped lips all year round. It's fragrance-and-paraben-free and filled with soothing shea butter and chamomile essence that'll help heal your lips in time for your next date night.
A Samnyte Hair Wax Stick to help you fight the good fight against your flyaways each morning when you're getting ready to head out the door — we're busy people, we don't have time to look like we don't have our life in order (even if we, very much, do not).
A Boon folding toddler tower you can stow away when your tyke isn't begging you to use it. (So, never?) It's sturdy, has grippy nonslip feet, an adjustable height, and is exactly what your dying-to-always-be-hands-on kid needs to partake in nightly cooking or daily crafting.
A SinkShroom strainer you won't know how you lived without because it'll keep your kitchen sink unclogged no matter how much gunk you fill it with.
A super absorbent floral dish drying mat to bring pretty vibes into your kitchen and to your least favorite chore (doing the dishes, siiiiiiiigh).
An outlet light for anyone who has accidentally walked into a wall one (or two) times too many when getting up in the middle for a glass of water — this lil' gadget will subtly light your way without the need for a bulkier option.
Catrice "Instant Awake" Under Eye Brightener — toss your old concealer aside! This one has become the internet's holy grail for concealing and brightening dark circles under your eyes so fast that everyone's old concealers are doing double takes. This lightweight color-adapting formula is designed for truly ~invisible~ coverage that makes a drastic difference.
A mason jar cold brew maker in case you'd like your coffee maker to fit in with your home's carefully curated aesthetic. Reviewers absolutely love this version and also use it to brew their favorite iced teas. Cheers!
And a cult-favorite Anthropologie Icon Juice Glass that'll make every morning cup of iced coffee feel like an Instagram-worthy moment.
Or an aesthetic bear–covered mug in case you actually drink your coffee hot — it'll be the cutest one in your cabinet, is microwave safe, and likely to become as cherished as the plush teddy you don't admit to still snuggling with every night.
A pet hair remover with a unique patented brush design that'll let you invite guests to sit down without fear of them being covered head-to-toe in your dog's smelly hair (especially if they're overdue for a bath...yikes).
Basic white sneakers for anyone who is forever searching for the perfect footwear to pair with their casual outfits — these will complete your closet without the hefty price tag of other simple but elevated sneaks'. Reviewers love how supportive they feel and that they have zero break-in period.
A reading light you can wrap around your neck, in case you have no interest in fumbling with a clip-on light while you turn the pages of your book. Reviewers have also said it's great if you tend to fall asleep while reading, leaving your overhead lights on in the process.
And a triangular book page holder — an absolutely genius idea for readers who simply *need* somewhere handy to place their book when they start to fall asleep mid-reading. It perfectly fits on nightstands and is designed to *~aesthetically~* hold your spot — it also has a place to put your glasses and a phone. How much better does this evening sound than shouting across the table in a crowded restaurant? Sign me up.
A 12-pack of squishy animal-themed gel pens (complete with 24 colorful refills!) that'll look adorable hanging out on your desk. There's enough in the pack that you can graciously pass 'em out to your colleagues, too.
A 100% leakproof 30-ounce stainless-steel BrüMate Era tumbler because there are few things as exciting these days as a shiny new emotional support cup.
A "Cup Cozy Pillow" — aka an absolute essential for achieving peak comfort goals in your living room. It features a spot to hold your remote, two mugs, and two additional beverages. You honestly may never want to leave your couch again.
And stylish Beats Studio Pro headphones that'll be worth the splurge, I promise. They have built-in spatial audio (it creates a surround sound–like experience), over 40 hours of battery, noise-canceling and transparency modes, and are ridiculously easy to pair via Bluetooth.

Livvy Dunne was her own celebrity look-alike in hilarious Twins-Pirates scene days after NYC co-op drama

Livvy Dunne was in Minnesota to watch Paul Skenes and ended up seeing herself on the scoreboard. The 10-year-old sleeper hit that has more plays than any Taylor Swift song

The final song on LA band Lord Huron's second album flew well under the mainstream radar when it was released in 2015. A decade on, it's one of the most unlikely success stories in music. Beyoncé and Dua Lipa may be two of the world's top pop stars, and both put out new albums last year, but their biggest songs of 2024 did not match the popularity of a 10-year-old track by Lord Huron, according to the official Billboard global end-of-year singles chart. And Charli XCX may have ruled Brat summer, but her biggest hit still wasn't as big as The Night We Met by Lord Huron in the UK last year. (The Night We Met was 35th on Billboard's global chart for 2024, above Dua's Houdini at 37 and Beyoncé's Texas Hold 'Em at 41; and it was 60th on the UK Official Chart Company's end-of-year rundown, while Charli's Guess was her biggest hit single at 73.) Meanwhile, the Lord Huron song is in the exclusive club of tracks that have racked up three billion Spotify plays - a club even Taylor Swift isn't in yet. Videos featuring The Night We Met have had another three billion views on TikTok, according to music data tracker Chartmetric. "It's unbelievable," says Lord Huron frontman Ben Schneider of the popularity of his song, which has snowballed in recent years and shows no signs of slowing down. It's not unusual for old songs to become perennial favourites on streaming and social media (see The Killers, Fleetwood Mac and Tom Odell). What is much rarer is for it to happen to a track that was not a hit the first time around. And The Night We Met was nowhere near. The aching ballad closed Lord Huron's second LP of indie folk, Strange Trails, which was well received by the group's loyal fanbase and critics, but only grazed the US album chart. The song was written as "a wistful reflection of a relationship, maybe with a sense of regret of where it's ended up and where it started", Schneider explains. "I remember writing that song and feeling like it was a very concise way to end a record. And I remember my wife saying she thought there was something really special to it. But years went by and it wasn't like it was a hit or anything. "And then things just started to happen with it." The first thing to happen was for it to be used on the soundtrack of Netflix teen drama 13 Reasons Why in 2017. At first, Schneider was unsure whether to let it be on the soundtrack, but his wife told him: "Just do it, put it in the show." The couple were away in France at the time. "We were gone for a few months, and when we came back my manager was like, 'Something's happening with this song'," the singer recalls. "I figured it'd be a quick spike and then fade away, but it's had this weird and pretty unheard of long tail, where rather than falling off into nothing, it fell off and then slowly ramped back up. And it just seems to keep going." Schneider recorded a duet version with Phoebe Bridgers for another 13 Reasons Why scene in 2018. Most of its subsequent lease of life has come from its popularity on TikTok. It has since defied musical gravity by becoming more popular every year. In 2024, it had almost a billion streams on Spotify - 57% more than the previous year, according to Chartmetric. The song's lyrics hark back to the start of a soured relationship: "I had all and then most of you / Some and now none of you / Take me back to the night we met." The song has been used in various TikTok memes, and Cosmopolitan put it top of its playlist of Sad Songs to Blast When You're Feeling Hella Moody. But it can fit a range of emotions and situations - Molly-Mae Hague used it to soundtrack her pregnancy announcement video in 2022. "I think everyone can relate to that sort of story and can insert their own biography into it," Schneider reflects. "It's a vessel that fits a lot of people's personal stories. That's maybe why it's had such a lasting and slow-burning effect on people." The singer says The Night We Met's success came at a good moment in the band's career, "because we had already established ourselves in a lot of ways". "We already had a very devoted fanbase, so we weren't necessarily locked into a one-hit-wonder status by that song. "Even though it far outstrips our other songs in terms of streaming and everything, we have enough going on otherwise to not feel like we're known only for that one singular moment, which is great." There is indeed a lot more to the band than one song. Lord Huron began as a solo project in 2010, before Schneider assembled a full line-up. They have released four albums of yearning, soulful and haunting Americana - with a fifth coming out on Friday. Their albums show Schneider's skill as a storyteller as well as a songwriter, often containing a running thread of a storyline. The new LP is titled The Cosmic Selector Vol 1 - about a 1950s-style jukebox that can transport people to alternate universes, where life has turned out differently after small decisions in the past set them on different paths. "I guess the past few years, as I've been getting a bit older, I've just been thinking about all the ways my own life could have gone, or could still go, or might have been," Schneider explains. "Not with any sense of regret, but more with a sense of wonder at the sheer randomness of it all, and how different things could have been if very little things had gone another way. "So I started thinking about a collection of songs representing that randomness - the lottery that one's lot in life is." But the controls of this magic jukebox are "busted", he says. "Everything's mislabelled. What you think you're selecting might send you a completely different way, and everything's on the menu - sorrow, joy, horror, love - all the ways a life can go." So various characters, including one voiced by actress Kristen Stewart, are put through this dimension-hopping, life-scrambling retro randomiser. Some are based on Schneider himself, others are just made up, he says. Everyone has their own sliding doors moments when life could have turned out differently. For Schneider, there was the time a jazz combo played in an assembly at grade school. "I remember watching the bass player and being like, 'I could be in a band some day', and a lightbulb turned on in my head," he says. "I think there's a myriad of moments like that where I could have chosen one thing and didn't, so it's fascinating to consider that." The moment in France when his wife persuaded him to allow The Night We Met to be used in 13 Reasons Why was another turning point. Schneider hit the jackpot in the lottery of life with that sleeper hit. He now hopes its popularity turns people on to the rest of their music. "I want to keep trying to move forward and making new stuff," he says. "And hopefully something that we make will have the same kind of impact that song has had. "And I think over time, stuff we have already made will, I hope." The 2010s lost classics that became sleeper hits a decade on

How AP journalists reacted to news of Justin Bieber's new album

LOS ANGELES (AP) — 'Bieber Fever,' the intense adoration of Grammy award-winning artist Justin Bieber, was a phenomenon of the 2010s. After the singer teased his first album in four years, titled 'Swag,' AP journalists proved what fans have made known for years — there is no cure. In a private group channel, several journalists who revealed themselves as 'Beliebers' expressed their excitement about Bieber's new music. Some even traveled back in time, sharing photos and anecdotes about themselves as teens and young children supporting his career. 'I'm so sorry for the person you are all about to witness me become," Audience Engagement Editor Sarah Jones-Smith said. "I'm SO back.' They referenced the 31-year-old's recent encounter with paparazzi, which went viral on TikTok. The star was enjoying a day at the beach with his family when he, visibly upset, confronted paparazzi to get them to leave the area. 'You're not getting it,' he said. 'It's not clocking to you. It's not clocking to you that I'm standing on business, is it?' Bieber made light of the video on the album by titling the 16th track: 'STANDING ON BUSINESS.' The audio includes humorous commentary about the paparazzi encounter from comedian Druski. 'He really was standing on business,' Audience Engagement Editor Elise Ryan said. 'I wish I had this photographic evidence but, on my old ipod nano, I bought the 'Baby' music video on iTunes and the play count on it is embarrassing LOL," Audience Engagement Editor Karena Phan said.
