If you have the winning ticket, National Lottery advise that the back of it is signed and kept somewhere. Contact the National Lottery prize claims team as soon as possible on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie where arrangements will be made for you to collect your prize.
While money that isn't won in National Lottery draws rolls into the next draw, the same isn't the case for money that has been won but not claimed.
If a person fails to claim their winnings within the 90-day time frame, the funds will be put into the promotion of the National Lottery — which in turn increases funds raised for good causes.
In 2021, the Irish Times reported that the Lottery used more than €90m in unclaimed prize money to promote itself across a six-year period.
