The shoot concluded shortly before Aanand L Rai's birthday on June 28. The director, who turned 54 on June 28, hosted an intimate celebration at a Mumbai diner on June 29. The bash was attended only by stars he is currently working with, including Kriti Sanon, Dhanush, and Sara Ali Khan.
In a video that surfaced online, Kriti was seen arriving in a chic green spaghetti-strap dress with her hair half-tied. Sara, meanwhile, wore a pastel strapless gown—an outfit she had donned earlier in the day for a Metro…In Dino promotional event. Dhanush, along with casting director Mukesh Chhabra, also joined the low-key celebration.
