JSP condemns YSRCP's factionist politics
Jana Sena district president Shaik Reyaz and senior leader Kandi Ravi Sankar severely criticised the YSRCP at a press meet held here on Tuesday. Reyaz, who also serves as Chairman of AP Livestock Development Agency Corporation, accused YSRCP of shameless conduct despite the public mandate that reduced their representation significantly. He alleged that the party is now spreading factional politics across the state and urged YSRCP workers to understand their leader Jagan Mohan Reddy's true nature.
Reyaz questioned why Jagan visits only the families of betting victims, those who insult women, and cannabis users. Reyaz warned that if Jagan continues this behaviour, YSRCP will not win a single seat in future elections. He expressed confidence that the state would develop rapidly under the leadership of Modi, Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Lokesh. Kandi Ravishankar praised the coalition government's performance over the past year, highlighting that it has maintained clean governance without any scams or corruption under the joint leadership of Modi, Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Lokesh. He noted that people from all sections of society are happy with the current administration. He credited Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan with securing maximum funds from the Centre and bringing significant changes to the panchayat system. He highlighted the success of the Yogandhra programme, where five lakh people participated, and claimed the entire world is now looking towards Andhra Pradesh.
Jana Sena district vice-president Chittem Prasad, secretaries Kalyan Mutyala and Rayani Ramesh, urban vice-president Pilli Rajesh, chief secretary Palla Prameela, leader Vasavi Kasu, and others attended the meeting.

Lashes out at YSRCP Criticising the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders, Mr. Naidu said, 'People must remain vigilant against those wearing the mask of politics. In my 47-year political journey, including 15 years as Chief Minister, I have never seen such degradation in politics. A party depicted Amaravati women as prostitutes. When a few women demanded an apology during its leader's visit to Podili in Prakasam district, they were assaulted.' 'TDP MLA Prashanti Reddy was abused by another YSRCP leader. Instead of condemning it, their party chief spoke in support of it. They tried to frame me in connection with their uncle's murder. At Bangarupalem in Chittoor district, mangoes were crushed under tractors to create a political spectacle. Fake videos were shown in Nellore to create false public support,' Mr. Naidu said. 'I will not remain silent if criminals foray into politics. The political parties must serve the people. Even if power is their ultimate goal, they must uphold values, discipline, rules and decency. Should people learn foul language and violent conduct from these leaders? I'm working to protect the lives and the future of the poor,' Mr. Naidu said.

Naidu and Lokesh's Singapore visit aimed at safeguarding ‘ill-gotten wealth', alleges former Minister
Former Minister and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Anakapalli district president Gudivada Amarnath has levelled serious allegations against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, claiming that their recent visit to Singapore was intended to protect their 'ill-gotten wealth' rather than attract investments for Andhra Pradesh. Addressing a press conference at the party office on Saturday, Mr. Amarnath alleged that, having failed to secure any substantial investments, the Chief Minister and his son fabricated a narrative accusing YSRCP supporters of sending emails to corporate companies, thereby obstructing investment flows into the State. He further claimed that the Singapore government was reluctant to engage with Andhra Pradesh due to the past record of corruption associated with Mr. Naidu and Mr. Lokesh. 'What tangible investments have they brought in following their trip?' he questioned, alleging that for the past two to three days, Mr. Lokesh has failed to answer this and is instead attempting to divert public attention by making baseless allegations against Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and the previous YSRCP government. Criticising the present government's performance, Mr. Amarnath said that many industrialists are hesitant to invest in the State after witnessing one year of Mr. Naidu's rule and what he described as 'atrocities' by NDA leaders. He also questioned the silence of Ministers such as Narayana and T.G. Bharat, who accompanied the delegation, and asked why Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan was not included in key international visits to Davos or Singapore. He accused Mr. Naidu of harbouring an 'obsession with Singapore' since his previous tenure beginning in 2014. Referring to the Amaravati Capital Region Development project, Mr. Amarnath alleged that Mr. Naidu handed over a 58% stake to a Singapore consortium without any financial contribution from their side, while the Andhra Pradesh government, which invested ₹12,000 crore, was left with only a 42% stake. 'In the revenue share, Singapore companies were allotted 91.5%, while the State received a mere 8.5%. Is there a bigger scam than this?' he asked. Mr. Amarnath also demanded clarity on Mr. Naidu's alleged connections with former Singapore Minister S. Iswaran, who is currently facing charges in a corruption case. He asserted that several key infrastructure projects that Mr. Naidu promoted during the Singapore visit—including the Ramayapatnam, Mulapeta, and Machilipatnam ports, as well as the Adani Data Centre—were all initiated and advanced under the previous YSRCP government. He credited the prior administration's efforts, particularly Mr. Jagan's meetings at Davos, for bringing global companies such as ArcelorMittal to Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, Mr. Amarnath criticised the alleged handing over of prime government land in Visakhapatnam to private entities at throwaway prices. He cited the example of the Lulu Group, which was reportedly granted land on a 99-year lease at a rate of just ₹1.5 per sq. ft—an offer he claimed was unacceptable to the local populace. He concluded by demanding that the State government clarify its position on the future of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, amid growing concerns over its privatisation.

46.86 lakh farmers receive financial assistance under Annadata Sukhibhava-PM KISAN in Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said that ₹3,175 crore was disbursed to 46.86 lakh farmers across the State as part of the first instalment of the Annadata Sukhibhava - Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. Three instalments Launching the scheme, which was yet another election-eve promise, at East Veerayapalem village of Darsi mandal in Prakasam district, Mr. Naidu said every eligible farmer would get ₹20,000 per annum in three instalments — ₹7,000 in two tranches and ₹6,000. The first tranche was released on Saturday. Out of the ₹7,000, while the Central government would give ₹2,000, the State government's share was ₹5,000. Of the ₹3,175 crore released, the State's share was ₹2,343 crore, while the Centre gave ₹832 crore. Addressing the farmers in an agricultural field at Veerayapalem, the Chief Minister said, 'This is a historic moment. In Darsi constituency alone, 42,870 farmers will be given ₹29.06 crore.' Helpline Mr. Naidu advised the farmers to use the Sukhibhava portal, or call toll-free number '155251' for help in case of any payment issues. Highlighting the various initiatives taken to strengthen agriculture, including implementation of the 'Polam Pilustondi' programme in over 15,232 villages, the Chief Minister said, 'Before elections, I promised to usher in welfare and development in the State. I am working hard to improve the standard of life of the people. We have tied up with Jana Sena Party (JSP) and the BJP for the benefit of the State.' Super Six 'The NDA government is committed to implementing the Super Six schemes despite financial crisis. It has increased pensions [NTR Bharosa] from ₹3,000 to ₹4,000 per month in one go. Today, ₹32,134 crore is being disbursed in a year to 64 lakh social security pension beneficiaries in the State, the highest in the country, which is followed by Telangana, where the figure stands at ₹8,000 crore,' the Chief Minister observed. This apart, the NDA government was giving financial assistance to mothers of every school-going child under Thalliki Vandanam and three LPG cylinders free of cost annually to each household under Deepam-II scheme, he said. 'Stree Shakti' 'The government will roll out 'Stree Shakti' scheme on August 15, under which women across the State will be able to travel in State-run RTC buses free of cost,' Mr. Naidu said, adding that 2.65 lakh women would benefit from it daily. 'For DWCRA women self-help groups, the government is providing schemes such as Lakhpati Didi and drone pilot training,' he said.
