Riyadh Metro Opens New Orange Line Station
Saudi Public Transport Authority in Riyadh unveiled on Thursday the launch of a new station on the city's Orange Line, Hassan bin Thabet Street Station, according to Gulf News. Hassan bin Thabet Street Station The new station will further expand the Kingdom's urban transit network and accelerate the modernization of Riyadh's public transportation. Orange Line The Orange Line on January 5, the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) announced the official beginning of operations at the Riyadh Metro's Orange Line (Al Madinah Al Munawwarah Axis). The announcement marked the completion of all six lines of the Riyadh Metro Network which features 85 stations including four key stations. Spanning from Jeddah Road to the Second Eastern Ring Road, the Orange Line extends from east to west with a total length of 41 kilometers. Over 50,000 Attend Eid Celebrations at Ithra Featuring Artistic Performances
Over the span of three days, Eid al-Adha celebrations at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) attracted more than 50,000 visitors. Held under the theme 'A Ribbon of Giving,' the center offered a wide array of activities and events catering to all age groups. These ranged from artistic exhibitions to live and interactive performances. Crowds also lined up to attend various film screenings, culminating in a musical concert by composer Islam El Qasabgi on Ithra's main stage, which was met with enthusiastic public reception. Ithra, Exceptional Experiences Ithra's Eid festivities reflect its role as a multidimensional cultural and creative hub aimed at delivering unique experiences to its visitors and fostering a positive societal impact. The center pursues this mission through a mix of cultural programs, interactive activities, and initiatives tailored for various age groups.
