'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' release: Rumoured runtime of Pawan Kalyan starrer surfaces online ahead of release

Picture Credit: X Pawan Kalyan's much-anticipated period action drama 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit' is all set to hit the big screens on July 24, 2025. New details about the film are beginning to surface online, including its possible runtime. Directed by Jyothi Krisna, the film has been in the making for a long time and is finally entering its final stretch before release. 'Fire everyone involved': Vogue slammed for sidelining Usher on his own Super Bowl cover with white model front and center

Usher's Vogue cover, intended to celebrate his 30-year career and Super Bowl halftime performance, sparked controversy (Getty Images) In January 2024, as anticipation mounted for Usher's Super Bowl LVIII halftime performance, the R&B icon made headlines—not just for his career milestone, but for the controversy surrounding his first-ever Vogue cover. What should've been a triumphant solo spotlight for a singer with three decades of influence turned into a firestorm over artistic choices that many fans called 'disrespectful' and 'tone-deaf.' Usher landed Vogue cover—but shares the spotlight unexpectedly Vogue revealed its Winter 2024 Digital cover on January 17, 2024 featuring Usher alongside supermodel Carolyn Murphy and a youth football team. While the feature celebrated Usher's 30-year career and his upcoming Super Bowl show, the decision to position him behind Murphy raised eyebrows. 'For Vogue's Winter 2024 Digital issue, Usher discusses his 30-year career, his lifelong love of fashion, and what fans can expect at halftime next month,' the magazine shared on Instagram. Murphy, who posted additional shots from the shoot, praised Usher as 'a leading man in every sense.' But many online were baffled by why the Grammy-winning artist wasn't front and center on his own cover—especially when the piece was meant to honor his legacy and upcoming historic performance. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Concentrated Siberian Ginseng Extract 2oz Superior Ginseng Undo Fans called out Vogue for sidelining Usher on his own big moment Social media erupted almost instantly. An user, @thatsoleelee wrote, 'A Vogue cover with Usher should have, and easily could have been, iconic. Instead, you've made it unfortunate. No worries though. A Black publication will give us what we need.' Another user @JzonAzari wrote, 'There were multiple angles for football related covers and this was the choice? Back to the drawing board for more ideas because, no.' Fans thrashing Vogue (SS via Twitter) Another user @EbtheCeleb wrote, 'The CD needs to be fired. This is lazy and as fashionable as Usher is why was this the creative choice for him not to showcase fashion on the cover of a fashion magazine. Literally fire everyone involved.' Others drew parallels to LeBron James's 2008 Vogue cover with Gisele Bündchen—another instance critics felt played into problematic racial optics. Despite the noise, Usher remained focused on his mission for the halftime show. 'This night was specifically curated in my mind to have R&B take the main stage,' he told Vogue. 'Not just R&B music, but R&B performance, R&B connection, R&B spirit.' Also Read: Could 2025 be the last dance for Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes? Kenneth Branagh and Lily Gladstone join Michael B. Jordan's adaptation of 'The Thomas Crown Affair'

Amazon MGM Studios' upcoming reimagining of 'The Thomas Crown Affair', directed by and starring Michael B. Jordan, has added two major talents to its ensemble cast: Oscar winner Kenneth Branagh and Oscar nominee Lily Gladstone. The film is scheduled for an exclusive theatrical release on March 5, 2027, with production set to begin this summer. While details remain under wraps, Kenneth Branagh is reportedly set to play a villainous role in the high-stakes heist drama. Lily Gladstone's role has yet to be disclosed, though her casting marks a notable addition following her critically acclaimed performance in 'Killers of the Flower Moon'. Jordan, who is also producing the film through his Outlier Society alongside Elizabeth Raposo, leads the cast with Taylor Russell ('Bones and All'). They are joined by Branagh and Gladstone in what is shaping up to be one of Amazon MGM Studios' most anticipated projects. Legendary producer Charles Roven, best known for 'Oppenheimer', has also come on board via his Atlas Entertainment banner. Additional producers include Patrick McCormick and Marc Toberoff of Toberoff Productions. Alan Trustman, who wrote the screenplay for the original 1968 film, will serve as an executive producer. The screenplay for this new version of 'The Thomas Crown Affair' was written by Drew Pearce, based on earlier drafts by Wes Tooke and Justin Britt-Gibson. The film aims to honour the legacy of the original, while offering a contemporary take on the story. Though official plot details remain confidential, the story is expected to follow in the footsteps of both the 1968 original and the 1999 remake — both centred around a wealthy, thrill-seeking man who masterminds an elaborate robbery purely for the excitement, only to meet his match in a sharp and determined investigator. The dynamic between the criminal mastermind and the investigator is central to the story's enduring appeal. The original film, directed by Norman Jewison, starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, while the 1999 remake, helmed by 'Die Hard' director John McTiernan, featured Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo in the lead roles. With a stellar cast and an accomplished creative team, Michael B. Jordan's 'The Thomas Crown Affair' is generating strong anticipation ahead of its 2027 theatrical release.
