Sharon Osbourne has revealed that she booted a band off the lineup of the upcoming 'Back to the Beginning' concert featuring the final performances of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne.
The wife and manager of Ozzy told Metal Hammer that an argument with the undisclosed act's manager led to her decision to disinvite the band from playing the historic all-day concert event being held July 5th at Villa Park in Birmingham, England.
'I had a huge, huge to-do with a manager over this celebration for Ozzy and Sabbath,' revealed Sharon. 'And it was probably the worst way I've felt in years. And I don't care what this person says about me, thinks about it, because he doesn't know me. And he's now going around making up bullshit lies because I threw his band off the bill.'
She continued, 'I don't care what people say. Because do you know what? I don't love them. I care about people who love me, what they say about me. You can't care what an industry says, because you don't love them, so how can it hurt you? It doesn't.'
When asked by Metal Hammer if it was Iron Maiden — as Sharon famously feuded with singer Bruce Dickinson on the 2005 edition of Ozzfest — she replied, 'Oh god, no. Ozzy only has respect for the guys in Maiden. And he didn't even know what Bruce was doing [during Ozzfest]. I never told him, until the night that it happened when it was the last show, and he just looked at me and goes, 'You're terrible.''
Meanwhile, there was speculation that Sharon was referring to Tool, whose name was conspicuously missing from the promotion of the recently announced paid livestream of the 'Back to the Beginning' concert. However, that turned out to be a design oversight, and Tool's name has since been added.
In addition to Sabbath and Ozzy, the concert will feature performances from Tool, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Slayer, Pantera, Alice in Chains, and dozens of other notable rock and metal acts. As mentioned, a global livestream is available to purchase for $29.99.

He said "went to see and sign the Black Sabbath mural today" as he posted a photo of him in the act. One fan wrote: "Oh my heart Ozzy saw you years ago in Birmingham welcome home bab." While another said: "July 5th is quickly approaching! Enjoy the day, Ozzy!" Co-founder of the band, Iommi, also shared news of the trip as he praised the creative artwork. Posting photos of the four bandmates posed up in front of the wall, he said: "Hasn't Mr Murals been busy! "Very flattered to be honoured in such a creative way, thank you Birmingham! Find the Black Sabbath mural on Navigation Street near Birmingham New Street train station." The stunning piece runs the length of the wall in Navigation Street outside the rail hub. Talented artist Mr Murals said it was a "tribute to the creative spirit of Birmingham", as well as to the founding fathers of heavy metal. The band's visit to the mural comes just a week ahead of one of Birmingham's biggest gigs in history. Ozzy Osbourne and his bandmates will perform their final ever gig at Villa Park Stadium in a major UK tour on Saturday, July 5.

Sabrina Carpenter Bids Farewell To Her Signature Curtain Bangs - And Signals A New Preppy Look

There are likely a few things that spring to mind on the topic of Sabrina Carpenter this summer. Perhaps you are already humming the tune to the singer's new brainworm, 'Manchild', which is fast cementing itself as the single of summer '25. Maybe you cast your mind to her trademark make-up routine, which is centred around a classic overlined lip and, more recently, the viral Prada banana balm. Or, most likely, you think of her signature curtain bangs and bombshell waves which have, until now, defined the singer's aesthetic. As she stepped out in Paris for the Dior Homme spring/summer 2026 show, however, Carpenter it seems had eschewed her classic sweeping fringe hairstyle and embraced an altogether new look. Gone were the wide curls for which she is now synonymous and in their place she wore her lengths in a vintage-inspired side parting which was clipped in place with a tortoiseshell barrette and soft, subtle waves sweeping beneath. This hairstyle was certainly a departure from her voluminous waves and Taking a break from her current Short n' Sweet Tour, Carpenter - a muse of the brand - attended what marked the debut of Jonathan Anderson's helm at Dior. For the occasion, the singer wore an uncharacteristically conservative yet chic ensemble which complemented her new beauty aesthetic. The grey wool blazer is instantly recognisable as the Monsieur Dior's legendary Bar jacket, and was paired with a pleated skirt and peep-toe shoes. Musicians have used their sartorial choices and beauty routines to hint at new albums, potential tours or send messages to eagle-eyed fans since the dawn of social media. Could this new dramatic transformation signal a departure from the sensual lyrics of 'Espresso' and 'Taste' and into a new musical realm? Perhaps. Or maybe the singer is simply embracing a preppier wardrobe and hairstyle as we hit peak-summer. Whatever the motive, Carpenter's new look is serving serious summer hair and style inspiration.
