Ariana Grande ( Wicked ) and Josh Gad ( Frozen ) are set to star in Warner Bros. Animation's upcoming adaptation of Oh, The Places You'll Go! , from director Jon M. Chu, who directed Grande in the Wicked films.
Published in 1990, Oh, the Places You'll Go! is one of Dr. Seuss' most beloved and enduring works. The whimsical work follows a young protagonist, standing in for the reader, as they venture out into the world, encountering a range of experiences, both positive and negative, as we all do in life.
Chu will share the vision for the film with co-director Jill Culton, and the film is slated for release in IMAX on March 17, 2028. Rob Lieber adapted the script from Dr. Seuss' final book, with Bad Robot's J.J. Abrams and Gregg Taylor producing. La La Land's Benj Pasek and Justin Paul are creating original songs for the big-screen adaptation.
Coming off her first Oscar nomination for her role as Glinda in the Chu-directed Universal musical Wicked , Grande will reprise the role in the sequel Wicked: For Good , out November 21. She was most recently tapped to join the next installment of the Meet the Parents franchise opposite Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller.
Gad's upcoming projects include Amazon's Spaceballs sequel, where he'll star and produce, as well as Paramount's Adulthood and Disney's Frozen 3 .

Bride and Groom Serve 18 Cakes at Wedding, All Made by ‘Important' Women in Their Lives

Impressively, each one of the cakes was a different flavorNEED TO KNOW Camille and Nathan Riffell asked all of the "important women" in their lives to make a cake for their wedding in Kentucky, on June 28 There were 18 cakes total, all featuring different flavors "We ended up with such a sweet and diverse selection," the bride wrote on InstagramA bride and groom's unique — and delicious — wedding idea has gone viral on social media. Camille and Nathan Riffell got married in an elegant outdoor wedding ceremony at Warrenwood Manor in Danville, Kentucky, on Saturday, June 28. But the real excitement happened inside the barn, where 18 wedding cakes were waiting to be served. The couple's wedding photographer, Abby Szydlik, posted a video of all the cakes on display at the wedding reception on TikTok on Monday, July 7. "Wedding Idea: 18 cakes all made by important women in the bride & groom's lives! Such a fun & tasty experience for your guests!" she wrote in an onscreen text overlay. She added in the caption: "So many fun flavors & such a sweet experience for the guests! The ladies that made the cakes were all SO excited to see them on display too!" From "sunshine cake," a pineapple infused cake with mandarin oranges, to blueberry lemon cake with cream cheese frosting, the cakes came in a variety of flavors, shapes and colors. There were several variations of chocolate cake, including plain chocolate, coffee chocolate mascarpone, and chocolate mocha. Other flavors were: red velvet, strawberry, lemon, lavender carrot, white chocolate raspberry, raspberry almond coconut, peanut butter and angel food cake. Two women even brought cheesecakes, with one being colored mint green. The bride explained on Instagram that she and the groom gave their loved ones free rein when it came to choosing what kind of cake to make. "We decided to ask important women in our life to contribute by making any flavor cake they wanted, we ended up with such a sweet and diverse selection!" Camille wrote. Everyone appeared to thoroughly enjoy the diverse selection, as there was barely any cake left by the end of the night. Camille and Nathan also had a small, two-tiered traditional wedding cake with a topper that read "The Riffells" in cursive. Beautiful and deeply personal." "Saving this for my wedding!!(i'm very single)," the official Betty Crocker account joked. "Our Leaders Are Expected To Set The Standard In Both Conduct And Accountability": The Company That Employs The CEO Who Was Called Out By Coldplay For Allegedly "Having An Affair" Has Issued A Statement

During a "kiss cam" moment at Coldplay's Boston concert this past Wednesday, the camera landed on a couple who had been then suddenly seemed to panic at being put on the screen. And let's just say, the whole situation was very awkward. @jennyquack / Here is the viral clip that has been viewed well over 53 million times. Chris Martin called them out, saying, "Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy." The moment has gone viral, and the pair has been identified as Astronomer's CEO Andy Byron and HR Chief Kristin Cabot. The internet has not held back its opinions on the matter, and now a formal statement by the company has been made. BuzzFeed spoke to Astronomer's Director of Communication Taylor Jones, who confirmed the statement is posted on LinkedIn and X. It reads, "Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability. The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly. Alyssa Stoddard was not at the event and no other employees were in the video. Andy Byron has not put out any statement, reports saying otherwise are all incorrect." And, as expected, people are on the edge of their seats, waiting to see how the company handles this situation. Neither Coldplay, Andy, nor Kristin has publicly addressed the matter. BuzzFeed has been unable to reach Andy Byron directly. And we've also contacted Chris's reps for additional comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication. Set Photo From THE PUNISHER Reveals When the Marvel Special Presentation Takes Place — GeekTyrant

A new set photo from Marvel Studios' upcoming Punisher Special Presentation might have just confirmed when the story unfolds in the MCU timeline. Jon Bernthal first brought Frank Castle to life in Daredevil season 2 on Netflix, a performance so strong it launched his own two-season Punisher series in the Defenders Saga. After a highly anticipated return in Daredevil: Born Again in 2025, Bernthal is back once more in his own MCU spinoff. The Special Presentation, set to hit Disney+ in 2026, is now filming with Reinaldo Marcus-Green directing and co-writing alongside Bernthal. The latest detail comes from @_DaredevilShots on X, which shared a first-look image from the set. The photo shows a poster for a concert happening on Sunday, July 18, a date that only aligns with the year 2027. This strongly suggests that Frank Castle's next chapter takes place in that year, placing the Punisher story shortly after the events of Daredevil: Born Again season 1. Most of Born Again' s first season is set in early 2027, shortly after the New Year. With Season 2 expected in March 2026 and Bernthal appearing there as well, it seems the Punisher's solo outing happens just months later, in a New York City still under Mayor Wilson Fisk's oppressive rule. The MCU timeline has been a frequent point of debate since the five-year jump in Avengers: Endgame set the universe ahead of real time. Now, with 2026 releases taking place in 2027, Marvel is gradually catching up. If this pace continues, the timeline may sync with the real world by the time Avengers: Secret Wars arrives in 2027 to close out the Multiverse Saga. The Punisher Special Presentation doesn't have an official release date yet, but it's expected to premiere on Disney+ after Daredevil: Born Again season 2. Are you ready for Bernthal's Punisher to take center stage in the MCU once again?
