This demonstrates the Yemeni Navy's ability to challenge major powers and reshape strategic calculations in one of the world's most vital maritime corridors. These Yemeni victories have awakened other nations, prompting them to reconsider their positions vis-à-vis global powers—especially the United States. Long subjugated by American demands and overreaching expectations, countries are now realizing they can, indeed, say 'no' to the U.S.—just as Yemen has boldly done in its confrontation with both the U.S. and Israel. Ljubljana - Saba: Slovenia announced Thursday evening that it will ban all arms-related trade with Israel due to the war on the Gaza Strip, a move described as the first of its kind by a European Union country. Ljubljana – Saba: The Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the accredited Israeli ambassador on Thursday to protest the severe humanitarian catastrophe resulting from restrictions on urgent aid delivery to the Gaza Strip. In a post on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, the Slovenian Foreign Ministry announced that it had summoned the newly appointed Israeli ambassador to Ljubljana, Ruth Cohen Dar, to the ministry. The ministry stated: "The Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has taken a diplomatic initiative by summoning the Israeli ambassador accredited to Slovenia to protest the severe humanitarian catastrophe caused by restrictions on the delivery of urgent humanitarian aid to Gaza." Slovenia also called on Israel to immediately halt the killing and starvation of civilians. Palestinians in Gaza are facing an unprecedented wave of hunger since the Israeli occupation forces closed the strip's crossings in early March, imposing strict restrictions on the entry of food, relief supplies, fuel, and medicine.
