The Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan (CCMT) 2025, conducted by NIT Warangal, has declared the Round 2 seat allotment result today on the official website ccmt.admissions.nic.in.
The counselling process facilitates admissions to postgraduate programs at NITs, IIITs, IIEST Shibpur, and other centrally funded institutions through GATE scores.
Candidates who have been allotted seats in this round must pay the seat acceptance fee, upload documents, and complete online verification by June 24, 2025 (12:30 PM for fee payment, 5:30 PM for document verification). Those dissatisfied with their allotment can withdraw or raise queries by June 25.
The Round 3 result is scheduled for release on June 27.
What is CCMT?
The Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan (CCMT) is a common platform for GATE-qualified candidates to apply for postgraduate programs in participating institutes, which include:

Admissions are based on GATE scores from 2023, 2024, or 2025.

After uploading the required documents, candidates will undergo remote verification by officials from the allotted institute.
This process is mandatory even for those who have upgraded from Round 1.

What's next?
The Round 3 seat allotment result will be announced on June 27, 2025, marking the final regular round in the CCMT counselling schedule. After this, CCMT may conduct Special Rounds depending on the availability of vacant seats across participating institutes. These rounds offer an additional opportunity for candidates who have not secured a seat or are dissatisfied with their current allotment. Those who opted for the float or slide options in earlier rounds still stand a chance to upgrade their allotment either to a more preferred institute or to a different program within the same institute.

We are committed to working with utmost sincerity towards this,' he said. Yelamanchili Durga Bhavani, who served as the Headmistress of Penamaluru Zilla Parishad High School in Krishna district for the past five years, has demonstrated exceptional commitment to her profession, fostering comprehensive student development. Under her guidance 54 students scored over 500 marks in the 2025 10th public examinations, 7 students secured admissions into prestigious IIITs, dozens of students consistently achieved NMMS scholarships for three consecutive years, the school organised a Graduation Day event, a first for a government school in the state, the school was selected under the PM-SHRI Yojana scheme, through community mobilisation, the school provided wall arts, dance, music classes, and computer training, the school emerged as a hub for innovative solutions under her leadership. Through the Atal Tinkering Lab, students developed novel solutions to everyday problems. Innovations included a machine for drying wet paddy, an iron box heat control incline, a blower made from old materials to clean school waste, and an alcohol-sensing helmet. During the felicitation, the Minister for Education and IT also sought advice and suggestions from headmistress Durga Bhavani on measures to strengthen government schools. He commended her for setting a benchmark for all teachers with her outstanding performance.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has officially released the much-anticipated Round 6 seat allotment results for the 2025 counselling cycle on July 16, 2025, marking the final opportunity to secure admission into prestigious institutes like the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. As the culminating stage of the JoSAA process, this round finalises seats for IIT aspirants and individuals under the NIT+ system any seats remaining in NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs will now move to CSAB rounds. Allotted candidates must complete online reporting. This includes seat acceptance, payment of the Seat Acceptance Fee, document upload, and query responses by July 20, 2025. Withdrawal is available only for NIT+ candidates until July 21, with query resolution by July 22, while IIT allotments must be accepted without option for withdrawal.
