Pakistan wins 3rd T20 by 13 runs to clinch a 2-1 series victory over West Indies
Pakistan posted 189-4 and then bowled tightly enough to restrict West Indies to 176-6.
Pakistan's opening partnership ended when Farhan was out for 74 runs in the 17th over, his 53-ball innings finishing when he hit a low full-toss from Shamar Joseph (1-57) directly to Shai Hope at long-off.
Ayub continued until the last ball of the penultimate over of Pakistan's innings, when he hit a full ball from Jason Holder (1-34) to Sherfane Rutherford in the covers and was out for 66 from 49 deliveries.
West Indies raced to 33-0 after two overs in reply, taking 16 off the first over from Hasan Ali and 17 in the second from Mohammad Nawaz.
Haris Rauf slowed the run-rate in the third over, which only went for five runs, and then snared the first West Indies wicket when he had Jewel Andrew (24 from 15 deliveries) caught by Hasan Ali in the fifth over with the total at 44.
Alick Athanaze scored 60 from 40 deliveries, sharing further partnerships of 30 with Hope (7) and 36 with Rutherford until he mis-timed a fuller, faster delivery from Ayub and was caught at short thirdman. At that point, West Indies slipped to 110-3 in the 13th over.
The series was tied 1-1 going into the decider after Jason Holder took four wickets and then smashed a boundary off the final ball of the second game to lift West Indies to a thrilling two-wicket victory on Saturday.
It was the first T20 victory for West Indies in seven matches, a span that included a heavy 5-0 series defeat to Australia, on top of a test series sweep last month.
Pakistan won the series-opener by 14 runs.

'Just absurd': Wallabies fans fume over missed Tom Lynagh act as TMO drama baffles
Wallabies fans may have been thrilled to have defeated the Lions 22-12 as lightning brought a halt to the game on Saturday night, but the missed incident on Tom Lynagh has once again frustrated rugby union fans. The Wallabies showed there was still plenty of pride left in the green and gold jersey on Saturday having outplayed the Lions across the full 80 minutes. Tom Hooper was player-of-the-match having filled in for Rob Valentini with aplomb as the Aussies were more physical than the Lions in the pouring rain. And the Aussies managed the consolation victory without flyhalf Lynagh who didn't come back on the field in the second-half after failing a HIA. Lynagh suffered a head knock during a clean out and went off the field and didn't return. Although replays showed Dan Sheehan charged into the ruck and collected Lynagh high. Lynagh was bracing for the impact, but it was still deemed dangerous play by many viewing. The incident comes after the Wallabies fans felt aggrieved they were not granted a penalty in the final seconds of last week's game at the MCG over a controversial ruck moment. But Sheehan's effort was more overt than last week and most fans agreed it was clear foul play. The Wallabies lost Lynagh for the game, with Ben Donaldson coming on, while the Lions escaped any sanction. What made the missed Lynagh moment even more frustrating was the TMO raised two other incidents against the Wallabies that were not nearly as dangerous. Nic White, playing his final game in the Wallabies jersey, rushed through the defensive line of the Lions at one stage and caused a handling error. Although the game came to a halt as the TMO reviewed what appeared to be minimal contact from White. Nothing came of the incident. Then one of the Wallabies' best, Joseph Suaalii, was at the centre of attention. With only a couple of minutes left, Suaalii made a last-ditch tackle to stop the Lions from going over for a consolation try. Although the TMO reviewed it and deemed it slightly high, but the on-field referee did not believe it was worthy of a card. But the TMO took its time reviewing the situation. And fans were left frustrated with world rugby and the TMO with the officials so willing to check every incident in the game, except the missed Lynagh high tackle. Although while the celebrations were dampened, the Lions had already secured the trophy with a controversial 29-26 win in Melbourne last Saturday having won the Brisbane opener 27-19. But there is plenty of excitement around this Wallabies team with coach Joe Schmidt managing to get up without the likes of Alan Alaalatoa, Valetini and Jake Gordon in the XV. Losing early didn't help and the weather was havoc. The game was stopped for 40 minutes in the second-half when lightning came within 10km of Accor Stadium. But the players returned to the soaking pitch with the Wallabies coming out stronger from the break. And captain Harry Wilson was thrilled with his team's bounce back after such a devastating setback last week. "So proud," Wilson said after the game. "Obviously it was a disappointing week this week after such a tough loss. To bounce back the way we did, to play an 80-minute performance, I'm so proud of everyone. We just wanted this game so badly. Call-up looms for Fyfe after Young scans come through
Dual Brownlow medallist Nat Fyfe could receive an SOS call as early as this week after Fremantle confirmed Hayden Young had suffered an adductor strain. Young tweaked his groin tackling an opponent in Fremantle's 27-point win over Carlton at Optus Stadium on Sunday. The 24-year-old was playing just his third game back from hamstring surgery, and his groin setback leaves a massive hole in the midfield. "It doesn't look very serious... Fyfe's latest bid to return to the AFL side began on Saturday when he racked up 27 disposals, six tackles and five clearances while playing for Peel Thunder in the WAFL. That huge display came despite him being rested for the entire final quarter, with Fyfe now a chance to return to the AFL side for Saturday night's clash with the Power in Adelaide. "I thought he was the best player on the ground for his 60 minutes," Longmuir said of Fyfe. "He only played 60 minutes though, so we'll have a chat during the week. "He'll be involved in that and work out his next progression and whether there's a spot in the side." Asked whether Fyfe needed some continuity first, Longmuir replied: "A little bit, but we're running out of time in the season and we need to put our best team out there to win next week. "A lot of things will come into consideration with him and Alex Pearce coming back, but we need to get going as well. "So we'll see what it spits out at selection." If Fyfe plays, there's a strong chance he will be the sub. Pearce has played just one of Fremantle's past nine matches due to a hot spot in his shin, but is in line to return against Port. Fremantle have just three more matches - against Port, Brisbane and the Bulldogs - before the finals begin, so the race is on for Young to overcome his injury and build up fitness.
