BBC star John Hunt reveals ‘I still talk to them every day' after murder of wife & two daughters in crossbow attack
BBC racing commentator John Hunt has spoken out for the first time since his wife and two daughters were murdered by a crossbow killer.
In an emotional interview alongside his daughter Amy, John told how
Louise, 25, Hannah, 28, and his wife Carol, 61,
had left behind a "legacy of love".

The BBC 5live star told how he still speaks to his girls and wife as soon as he wakes up everyday, almost a year on since their deaths.
Speaking publicly for the first time, John explained that he did not want his loved ones to be defined by their deaths.
In an interview with Victoria Derbyshire for the BBC, he said: "From the moment I wake up, I say good morning to each of them.
"Sometimes I say out loud to Hannah and Louise, 'sorry I can't be with you, I'm with your mum at the moment'.

"They're very close to me all the time.
was handed a whole-life order for the three murders, the false imprisonment and rape of Louise, and possession of a crossbow and knife.

'Rogue' who sold fake Electric Picnic tickets to unsuspecting victim avoids jail
Sean Carroll (31) with an address at Tara Hill Crescent, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, pleaded guilty in the District Court to theft contrary to section 4 of the Criminal Justice (Theft and Fraud Offences) Act 2001. The court heard that on July 26, 2019, Carroll arranged through Facebook to meet a man on Henry Street in Dublin, where the injured party handed over €550 for tickets to the music festival Electric Picnic. These tickets turned out to be fake and the stolen money was never recovered. Carroll has 28 previous convictions, including those for theft and attempted robbery. Defence counsel for Carroll, Róisín Burnside BL, told the District Court Appeals Court that her client has undertaken treatment for drug addiction and is now free of drugs and alcohol. Judge Jonathan Dunphy noted that 'Henry Street seems to be full of people selling Longitude tickets'. He asked if the defendant understood how long the injured party would have had to save up for the tickets, only for the money to go to 'some rogue'. Judge Dunphy decided to increase the original sentence from six months to ten months, but fully suspended it for two years on the condition that Carroll keeps the peace and continues with his treatment. "If he comes back before me, I'll activate every second of that ten months," Judge Dunphy said.

Kneecap confirm BBC Glastonbury bombshell with blunt message
Irish rap trio, Kneecap, has confirmed the BBC contacted the band in the last few hours. Writing on X, Kneecap, whose members are from west Belfast and Derry, confirmed that their 4pm performance on the West Holts Stage at Glastonbury will not be streamed live however, according to the group, the BBC is seeking to make a version of the concert available on the BBC iPlayer on Saturday evening. "A chairde Gael...," wrote Kneecap. "The propaganda wing of the regime has just contacted us.... They WILL put our set from Glastonbury today on the I-player later this evening for your viewing pleasure." The Irish language rappers warned fans at Glastonbury to arrive at the West Holts Stage early to avoid disappointment. "The crowd expected today is far greater than West Holts capacity so "you'll need to be very early to catch us EARLY," they added. Despite facing pressure from British politicians and others, the festival organisers have chosen not to cancel the Irish band's appearance. This comes after allegations that the band displayed a flag in support of the proscribed terrorist organisation Hezbollah and chanted "up Hamas, up Hezbollah" during a gig in London last November. One of the band members, Liam Og O hAnnaidh, is currently out on bail and set to reappear in court in August, following a court appearance earlier this month. He denies the charges, and the band has apologised to the families of murdered MPs, claiming that footage of the incident was "exploited and weaponised". Kneecap is set to perform at Glastonbury on Saturday at 4pm, and an enormous crowd is expected to attend. Festival organisers advised attendees: "Kneecap will draw a large audience for their 4pm West Holts show. If you're not planning to see them, please plan alternative routes around that area. If you do plan to attend, listen to stewards, and please have some other entertainment options in mind in case the field reaches capacity and we need to close it as part of our crowd planning measures."
