Opening date of flagship Arket store in Dublin city centre
Arket will occupy a 1,021sq m (11,000sq ft) space across two levels in the new development, which was completed last summer. The retailer has signed a 10-year lease.
Grafton Place offers 4,274sq m (46,000sq ft) of retail and leisure space, as well as 13,470sq m (145,000sq ft) of prime office accommodation on Dawson Street.
Tenants include global companies like Pinterest, American software giant ServiceNow, and Sandbox VR.
'We're very excited to be opening our first Arket location in Ireland with this beautiful flagship store in the centre of Dublin,' Arket Managing Director Pernilla Wohlfahrt said.
'We look forward to connecting with our local customers and inviting them to explore our vision for a more beautiful everyday life.'
The arrival of Arket in Dublin was teased last year on the brand's Instagram account, where it announced: 'ARKET will open its first physical destination in Ireland in 2025.'
Posters showcasing the brand's name have recently appeared in the windows of the Grafton Place store, heightening anticipation ahead of the opening.
According to the brand's website, Arket is a 'Nordic design and lifestyle destination', offering collections for women, men, children, and the home.
The brand is inspired by "simplicity, nature, and the aesthetics of slow living'.
Since its debut in London in 2017, Arket – meaning 'sheet of paper' in Swedish – has become a popular destination for shoppers.

AMERICAN multinational PayPal is to create 100 new jobs in Ireland with the expansion of its Dublin office. It is part of plans to establish an AI and fraud data science centre at the office, which will serve as a key spoke in the fintech company's global network. The news comes as PayPal continues to evolve its Dublin site — which opened in 2003 — beyond its roots as a customer service hub into a centre for innovation at the forefront of the global digital economy. "As we shape the next generation of digital payments, the talent and innovation coming from Ireland will play a critical role," said Aaron J. Webster, Global Chief Risk Officer at PayPal. "This expansion reflects both our confidence in the local ecosystem and our ambition to build an AI-driven, data-powered future that embeds trust and safety in every transaction. He added: "Our work to solve some of the most intricate and critical commerce challenges globally is fuelled by the unprecedented scale of our platform and unmatched data at our fingertips. The new roles will span a range of disciplines, including AI engineering, data science, software development, risk modelling and cybersecurity. These positions will support key strategic priorities such as loss prevention and enhancing outstanding customer experiences, placing innovation at the core of PayPal's global mission. The hiring initiative is being supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland, the country's investment promotion and development agency. Michael Lohan, CEO of IDA Ireland, said: '"I am delighted with PayPal's decision to create up to 100 new highly skilled tech jobs in Ireland. Byrne says Lisney, one of Ireland's largest privately-owned multidisciplinary property advisory firms, has a list of over 150 Americans seeking homes here. Many of these buyers are looking to cross the Atlantic because they aren't happy with what is happening under Trump's administration.
