
Pedestrian, 58, taken to hospital after being struck by car
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash near Inverlochy Castle, Torlundy, at around 12.15pm on Tuesday.
The pedestrian, a 58-year-old woman, was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
The 20-year-old female driver of the car, a purple Peugeot 107, was uninjured.
Officers closed the road for six hours to investigate the scene.
Police Scotland is urging anyone with information to come forward.
Sergeant Ewan Calder said: 'Our enquiries into the full circumstances of this crash are ongoing and I am asking anyone who may have witnessed what happened to get in touch.
'Similarly, any drivers with dash-cam footage may have captured the incident should contact us.
'Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 1240 of May, 27.'

Person may have 'suffered injuries to hands' after cars torched on Scots road
Emergency services were called to Morrison Drive in Aberdeen after the alarm was raised at around 4.55pm on Tuesday. Police have launched a probe after a car was set alight in broad-daylight in Aberdeen. Emergency services were called to Morrison Drive in the city after the alarm was raised at around 4.55pm on Tuesday. Officers were responding to reports of two cars on fire on the residential street. Pictures taken from the scene showed one vehicle engulfed in flames. A line of fire could be seen on the road with a plume of black smoke billowing up into the sky. According to reports the vehicle was set on fire with an accelerant that spread to a second car and down the road following the blaze. Detectives quickly launched a probe at the scene and officers have since confirmed that they are treating the fire as wilful. It's believed the man responsible suffered injuries to his hands during the incident and police are appealing for witnesses. Detective Inspector Kate Coyle said: ' Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone with any information, particularly anyone who saw a man running in the direction of the old railway line around that time, to contact us. Three women arrested under Terrorism Act after van crashes into defence factory fence
Three women have been arrested under the Terrorism Act after a van was driven into a defence factory fence in Edinburgh on Tuesday. The incident took place at the premises of Leonardo, an aerospace, defence and security firm, in the Crewe Road North area of the city. Police Scotland said three women, aged 31, 34 and 42, have been arrested under the Terrorism Act 2000. The force said its Counter Terrorism Unit is leading the investigation and inquiries are ongoing. Pictures posted on social media by Shut Down Leonardo showed the front of the vehicle sticking through the fence, with a Palestinian flag draped over the rear of the vehicle. The group claims the factory makes components for Israel 's F-35 fighter jets. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'If anyone was on Crewe Road North or in the nearby supermarket carpark during the early hours of this morning and has any relevant dashcam footage or saw anything suspicious, please contact the Police on 101 quoting reference 0416 of 15 July.' Police Scotland has confirmed that three women, aged 31, 34 and 42, have been arrested under the Terrorism Act 2000 after a van was driven into an external fence at the Leonardo factory on Crewe Road North earlier today. Leonardo supplies defence technology, and protesters repeatedly call on the company to stop manufacturing devices which they say are being used in Gaza. The protesters also flew a Palestinian flag over the back of the van. The force's Counter Terrorism Unit are leading the investigation and enquiries are ongoing.
