Morrisons announces new pizza counter
Credit: MORRISONS
Even better, More Card customers get an extra 10 per cent off every Monday – so your pizza night just got cheaper.
The new range includes a mouth-watering mix of 11-inch woodfired pizzas, cheesy stuffed crusts and massive 14-inch stonebaked favourites, all freshly made in-store.
There's something for every taste – from a Loaded BBQ Chicken & Bacon Stuffed Crust to a veggie Butternut Squash and Roast Veg Woodfired Pizza.
And if you're feeling picky, you can still build your own pizza – it's included in the deal and handmade while you shop.
Morrisons has also lined up a tasty selection of sides and sweets, including garlic dough balls, cheesy nachos, and the fiery Garlic Cheese Bomb with Hot Honey.
Prefer pudding? No problem. Swap your side for a sweet treat like warm Cookie Cups or cinnamon-dusted Loop Churros with chocolate sauce.
For an extra quid, you can add dips like Cheesy Pizza, Garlic & Herb, or even a bottle of Coke to wash it all down.
Altogether, the meal could cost up to £15.50 if bought separately – so you're saving more than a fiver just by going for the deal.
Fraser Lovatt, Managing Director of Market Street at Morrisons, said: 'We wanted to offer customers a delicious and authentic Italian-style pizza at a price that doesn't break the bank.'
The offer is available in all stores with a Pizza Counter from today. In some locations – including Warrington, Gamston and Guiseley – new digital screens have also launched so customers can personalise their pizza and carry on shopping while it's made.
This isn't the first time Morrisons has turned heads with tasty food deals.
Earlier this year, the supermarket dropped the price of its hot food-to-go range, with sausage rolls going for just 50p and massive footlong sausage rolls for £1.
They also made headlines with a limited-edition £1.50 'Full English' pizza, topped with bacon, beans and eggs – which sent social media into meltdown.
And who could forget the supermarket's giant one-kilo pork pie or the gold-covered Christmas steak that sold out within days?
Morrisons has built a loyal following for its Market Street counters, with freshly prepared food made by in-store butchers, bakers and now – pizza experts.
The new menu and £10 meal deal are available now, with more stores expected to get the new ordering screens over the coming weeks.

Legendary restaurant chain announces huge UK comeback after being saved from administration with 35 closures

Diners will also see a new menu with exciting new flavours OPEN WIDE Legendary restaurant chain announces huge UK comeback after being saved from administration with 35 closures Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A LEGENDARY restaurant chain has announced a huge UK comeback after being saved from administration. With a new menu and a plan to revitalise restaurants, the chain secured a rescue deal last year but made a string of closures. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 3 TGI Fridays has announced a "comeback" with a new menu after the UK chain was rescued Credit: Alamy 3 It comes after over 35 restaurants were forced to close last year Credit: Alamy TGI Fridays, the US-themed eatery and cocktail bar, said it had undergone a significant transformation since being bought out of administration in October. Bosses are describing the comeback campaign as a "full brand reset". This will see half of its dishes updated and 70% of the grill items reworked, promising new flavours and more customisation. There are also plans to revive the brand's "Americana" influence and theatre theme. Some locations have already reintroduced photo booths and candyfloss machines. TGI Fridays said it was launching a comeback offer to mark the relaunch and to encourage more diners to return. Diners who order from the menu across Independence Weekend - the US holiday celebrated between July 4-6 - will receive a voucher for a free return meal. This will be valid on weekdays for the rest of the month. The restaurant first opened in New York in 1965 with a party-led theme and continues to operate a string of restaurants across the US. Private equity firm Breal Capital and Calveton UK acquired 51 restaurants after the previous UK operator fell into administration. But while the deal secured the future of the chain, it led to 35 restaurant closures with around 1,000 staff made redundant. Without a buyer the brand could have disappeared for good from UK high streets, where it's been a familiar sight since 1986. Since its debut in Birmingham that year, TGI Fridays quickly expanded nationwide, winning over diners with its casual American bistro-style experience. TGI Fridays now say it operates 49 restaurants and has about 2,500 members of staff. Inside England Lionesses' luxury Euro 2025 hotel with butler service, stunning pool and 2 Michelin star restaurant Restructuring efforts since the takeover have resulted in a leaner and more streamlined business, it said on Friday. It also highlighted an improvement in sales since the start of 2025. Prior to the takeover, TGI faced falling sales in the UK against a backdrop of wider struggles for the casual dining sector and weaker consumer spending. Julie McEwan, chief executive of TGI Fridays UK, said: "This is an exciting moment for TGI Fridays - a full brand reset that reinforces everything people have always loved about us. "TGI Fridays has a rich heritage of bold flavour, high-energy hospitality and unforgettable celebrations - and we've gone back to those roots to bring that magic into a new era. "Over the past eight months, we've restructured the business, invested in our incredible team, and rebuilt our offer around quality, value and experience."

Shoppers race to get their hands on new Milkybar chocolate available at corner shop chain

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A brand-new Milkybar flavour is set to land in stores for the first time. The Milkybar chocolate crumble will come with a milk chocolate base and creamy biscuit centre. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 Chocolate fans are excited to try the new sweet creation The new sharer bar will be available at Premier stores. Shoppers took to social media to share their excitement at the launch. In a post on social media app Instagram one shopper said: 'Ooh this sounds so good.' Another user agreed, adding: 'I'll be buying 5.' While a third said: 'The angels above listened, well helloooo.' It is not yet known how much the tasty treat will cost or when it will arrive on supermarket shelves. You can find your nearest Premier Store by visiting A Nestle spokesperson said: "This year, Nestlé is set to introduce a range of exciting confectionery products. Keep an eye on this space for delightful surprises in store." The news comes just months after shoppers raced to get their hands on another Milkybar flavour after it hit supermarket shelves. Eagle-eyed shoppers spotted the Milkybar Biscoff bars at B&M stores in January. The treat combines Lotus biscuits and white Milkybar in one chocolate. The bar was first found in Australia but could be picked up in B&M stores nationwide for just £1. Shoppers also went crazy for another new Milkybar combination in January. The Aero Milkybar combines bubbly Aero and white Milky Bar in one - for just £2.99. Why are products axed or recipes changed? ANALYSIS by chief consumer reporter James Flanders. Food and drinks makers have been known to tweak their recipes or axe items altogether. They often say that this is down to the changing tastes of customers. There are several reasons why this could be done. For example, government regulation, like the "sugar tax," forces firms to change their recipes. Some manufacturers might choose to tweak ingredients to cut costs. They may opt for a cheaper alternative, especially when costs are rising to keep prices stable. For example, Tango Cherry disappeared from shelves in 2018. It has recently returned after six years away but as a sugar-free version. Fanta removed sweetener from its sugar-free alternative earlier this year. Suntory tweaked the flavour of its flagship Lucozade Original and Orange energy drinks. While the amount of sugar in every bottle remains unchanged, the supplier swapped out the sweetener aspartame for sucralose. The chocolate was also typically found in Australia but is now widely available in the UK. Other new chocolate bars The Milkybar chocolate crumble is not the only new chocolate bar to hit supermarket shelves. Earlier this month savvy shoppers spotted Cadbury Dream bars back on shelves for the first time since 2002. The bars are made from white chocolate and cocoa butter and were launched in the UK in 2001. Last month Cadbury launched a new limited edition Twirl bar. The tasty snack is made with Cadbury's popular Twirl, which is dipped in white chocolate. Cadbury described the treat as 'unreal, indulgent, smooth, swirly, creamy, melty, new, and mouthwatering". The bars hit shelves on June 2 but are only set to be available for a limited time. Plus earlier this year shoppers raced to get their hands on Cadbury Dairy Milk Balls, which are similar to the discontinued Cadbury Tasters. Tasters first appeared in stores in 1996 as small, round Dairy Milk chocolates and were similar to a Malteaser but without the crunchy centre. Despite being popular they were quietly axed in the mid-2000s due to slow sales. The chocolates are not listed on Iceland's website and are currently only available in store.
