Daily Mail24-05-2025
Jessica Simpson has opened up about what it was like working alongside longtime friend Kim Kardashian on the upcoming Hulu drama series All's Fair.
The singer, 44, also spilled a detail about why she looked particularly puffy in the show's recently released trailer, which revealed her surprise cameo.
The blonde bombshell was briefly shown — with her face looking noticeably swollen — in a heated scene where she flung a drink on another character.
While the details of Jessica's role are unknown, she revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she underwent a long process to get camera-ready.
'I did eight hours of prosthetics, so it was very intense,' she teased before giving 'props to the prosthetics team.'

The former MTV personality bragged that the makeup pros told her she had 'the most patience of anyone they've ever worked with.'
And Jessica told the outlet that working with the star of the series, 44-year-old Kim, felt 'natural.'
'Our kids are best friends. To be on set, it just felt kind of natural,' she explained. 'It was fun to work together. She did all the lawyer talk, I did all the whining.'
'Filming All's Fair was incredible. I had a blast,' she also noted.
And she assured future viewers, 'I really embody someone that I am not, so I was definitely acting.'
Simpson's previous acting credits include starring as Daisy Duke in 2005's The Dukes of Hazzard, and appearing opposite Dane Cook in 2006's Employee of the Month.
Following the shock cameo from the Texas-bred entertainer, fans took to social media to express their excitement.
'I love to see Jessica Simpson returning to acting. She's an underrated actress,' one person wrote on X.
All's Fair was announced in December 2023 as the first series under Murphy's overall deal at Disney. It does not have an official premiere date, but will hit the streamer sometime this fall.
The show follows Kim playing a powerful Los Angeles-based attorney who runs a successful women-led law firm.
It was created by Jon Robin Baitz and Joe Baken, who executive produced the series, along with Ryan, Kim, and her mom Kris Jenner.
In addition to Jessica, Brooke Shields, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, and Niecy Nash are also part of the A-list cast.
Halle Berry was previously on board, but had to exit the project due to a scheduling conflict.
The show is rumored to be inspired by Hollywood divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who represented Kim when her marriages to Kris Humphries and Kanye West ended.

The Summer I Turned Pretty star under fire for boasting about his 'genetics' in new Dunkin commercial after Sydney Sweeney's polarizing ad

Another celebrity and brand have come under fire following the release of an advertisement mentioning 'genetics.' Actor Gavin Casalegno of The Summer I Turned Pretty stars in Dunkin Donuts' latest commercial for their Summer Refreshers, where he credits his tanned skin to his 'genetics.' 'Look, I didn't ask to be the king of summer. It just kind of happened,' Gavin, 25, says as he lounges by a pool with the Dunkins drink in hand. 'This tan? Genetics!' he says. 'I just got my color analysis back and guess what? Golden summer! Literally. 'I can't help it. Every time I drink a Dunkin Golden Hour Refresher, it's like the sun just finds me. So if sipping these refreshers makes me the king of summer, guilty as charged.' The ad has drawn comparisons to Sydney Sweeney's polarizing American Eagle denim campaign, which features the blue-eyed actress in an ad containing the tagline 'Sydney Sweeney has great jeans' (a deliberate play on the phrase 'great genes'). A Dunkin Donuts ad starring Gavin Casalegno is now facing backlash after it saw the actor credit his tan to 'genetics' in the commercial It comes after the release of Sydney Sweeney's ad for American Eagle, which also sparked controversy for it's 'Sydney Sweeney has great jeans' tagline has reached out to representatives for both Casalegno and Dunkin Donuts but did not immediately hear back. Fans did not take to the mention of genetics kindly as they weighed in on the ad on TikTok. 'Another white blonde, hair blue eye,' one TikToker vital_media_marketing commented in a video critiquing the alleged messaging behind the ad. In the comments section of both that particular video and Dunkin's original TikTok post of the ad, social media users weighed in over how unnerved they were by the campaign. 'why are ads so obsessed with genetics all of a sudden,' one commenter chimed in. 'IT'S GIVING SYDNEY SWEENEY AD,' another observed. 'genuinely what does a drink have to do with genetics?' another asked. 'Why are the corporates so obsessed with yt supremacy,' another asked. 'wow, if i had a nickel for every time a popular company rolled out ad campaigns filled with genetic/eugenist dog whistles THIS WEEK, i'd have two nickels. which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?' another asked. Several also said they would no longer be doing business with Dunkin. 'I'll never have Dunkin' Donuts again,' another vowed. 'I guess Dunkin just joined the boycott list with Starbucks,' one said. But not everyone was in agreement that the commercial was sending a message about eugenics. In the ad, Gavin credits his tanned skin to 'genetics' Viewers were unnerved by the mention of 'genetics' in the ad, particularly after Sydney's campaign TikToker MelMelTalks called the commercial's release 'bad timing' as she explained how the new Dunkin Donuts drink actually represents Gavin's character on The Summer I Turned Pretty. 'Oh my God! It gets to a point guys! This ad is not about eugenics, it's about the golden summer and the drink!' she insisted. 'Most of you guys don't watch The Summer I Turned Pretty, and the ones that do, y'all can't separate fiction from reality and you never liked Gavin. 'Is it bad timing? Could they have waited or just scratched it... but there are deadlines they had to meet and they probably wanted to get this out before the end of summer because he's in the show The Summer I Turn Pretty! And if this would have released before the Sydney Sweeney ad, we would not having this conversation,' she said. 'He also is known for being the more like, outside, outdoorsy, athletic, tan.' But TikToker MelMelTalks disagreed with the accusations the ad was promoting eugenics as she pointed out how Gavin's character on The Summer I Turned Pretty was a perfect fit for the Dunkin drink Gavin plays Jeremiah on The Summer I Turned Pretty, a character MelMelTalks noted was known for being 'outdoorsy', 'athletic', and having a tan The 'great jeans' tagline was a deliberate play on the phrase 'great genes' 'He gets like the surfer, the fun, the golden retriever type, and it was really a play on that... "Oh this tan, it's genetics," it's just saying that he's meant to be the boy of the summer. It's just bad timing.' Indeed, the commercial comes just days after an American Eagle campaign starring Sydney Sweeney sparked controversy. Last week, the Euphoria star, 27, became the face of American Eagle's fall denim campaign featuring the tagline, 'Sydney Sweeney has great jeans' — a deliberate play on the phrase 'great genes.' One viral clip shows Sweeney standing in front of a poster reading 'Sydney Sweeney has great genes,' with the word 'genes' crossed out and replaced with 'jeans.' Another video includes Sweeney saying, 'Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality and even eye color,' as the camera pans to her blue eyes, then she adds, 'My jeans are blue.' While the campaign's clever wordplay was intended to be playful and bold, it ignited accusations on social media platforms of promoting racial undertones, eugenics, and white supremacy — largely due to the focus on genetics alongside Sweeney's blue-eyed image.

Janice Dickinson's comments about Liam Neeson's manhood resurface amid Pamela Anderson romance

As Liam Neeson enjoys a flowering romance with Pamela Anderson, saucy claims have resurfaced about what he is like in the bedroom. Supermodel Janice Dickinson has dished that she indulged in a fling with Liam before he achieved the global stardom he enjoys today. Looking back on the relationship years later, Janice, 70, had emphatic words to describe what she saw when Liam, 73, got undressed. The fashionista crowed that Liam had 'the biggest penis of any man alive,' while giving an interview to the New York Post in 2006. 'It was like an Evian bottle fell out of his pants,' she told Star in 2011. 'The earth shook. Oh my God, you don't understand. I swallowed my tongue. I was so shocked. This was way before he was famous, too.' Janice, who reached the height of her fame in the 1980s, has dated a string of celebrities including Sylvester Stallone, Warren Beatty and Jack Nicholson. A source confirmed to Daily Mail this week that Liam and Pamela have been dating 'for a while' after meeting on the set of their upcoming The Naked Gun reboot. Liam was previously married to actress Natasha Richardson, who fell on a ski slope without a helmet and died tragically a head injury at the age of just 45 in 2009. In her memoir No Lifeguard on Duty, Janice claimed she first met Liam at the studio of a photographer who was 'doing a book of celebrity nudes and wanted me in it.' She arrived 'dressed like a f*** machine' and was met with the sight of a 'half-naked' Liam, at which point her 'Little Flower tingled. No, it didn't tingle. It f***ing rocked. Suddenly I realized that I was missing sex, too. Just not with my husband.' At the time, she was still with her second husband Simon Fields, whom she married in 1987 and welcomed a son with before divorcing him in 1993.
