King Charles Posts Stunning Photo of Himself Standing All Alone in the Rain

When it comes to the royal family, there's never a shortage of iconic photos. Whether it's Prince William and Kate Middleton looking stunning or Queen Camilla and Duchess Sophie serving timeless elegance, the royal archives are basically a style goldmine. King Charles is no exception and Buckingham Palace just dropped another stunning photo of the monarch that has royal fans talking. The post, shared on Monday, July 7, marked the 20th anniversary of the 7/7 bombings in London. To honor the day, King Charles shared a heartfelt written message (complete with his signature) but it's the second slide that truly stood out. The image shows the monarch standing alone in a dark suit during his visit to the memorial site. While others linger in the background, the photo captures a quiet, emotional moment that really speaks volumes. 'Today, as we mark twenty years since the tragic events of 7th July 2005, my heartfelt thoughts and special prayers remain with all those whose lives were forever changed on that terrible Summer's day,' Charles wrote. 'While the horrors will never be forgotten, we may take comfort from the way such events rally communities together in solidarity, solace and determination. It is this spirit of unity that has helped London, and our nation, to heal,' he continued. 'As we remember those we lost, let us therefore use this 20th anniversary to reaffirm our commitment to building a society where people of all faiths and backgrounds can live together with mutual respect and understanding, always standing firm against those who would seek to divide us.' Just last week, royal watchers were treated to another round of King Charles content—this time in a lighter mood. During the historic Ceremony of the Keys at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, he looked especially dapper in a beige blazer, matching trousers, and a bold green-and-red striped tie. The caption read: 'Today, the historic Ceremony of the Keys took place in the Gardens of the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Dating back centuries, this tradition symbolises Edinburgh welcoming its monarch.' Want all the latest entertainment news sent right to your inbox? Click here. Kate Middleton Just Stepped Out for a Surprise Visit After Missing Royal Ascot

Kate Middleton is back out and about and, this time, she surprised everyone with a visit that's as heartfelt as it is inspiring. After a busy June filled with royal engagements alongside Prince William, the Princess of Wales was notably absent from this year's Royal Ascot. Fans and royal watchers were left guessing when she'd next appear—many expected her at Wimbledon or during the upcoming French state visit from July 8 to 10. But instead, Princess Catherine made a quieter, yet deeply meaningful, public appearance on July 2 in Essex. The royal visited Colchester Hospital to spend time in a specially designed wellbeing garden. This garden offers a peaceful retreat for patients, NHS staff and visitors—a space to relax, recharge and reconnect with nature. During her visit, Kate helped plant several 'Catherine's Rose' plants, a beautiful new bloom named in her honor by the Royal Horticultural Society. Stefan Rousseau -Kensington Palace shared some lovely photos from the visit on Instagram Stories, describing the garden as 'a garden made for healing' that provides space for rest and reflection. Another post highlighted that proceeds from the sale of the pink roses will benefit the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity—the same charity where Kate received treatment during her cancer journey. Fifty of these roses were delivered to Colchester Hospital this week, with plans for 500 more to be distributed to wellbeing and community gardens across the UK this summer. The Prince and Princess of Wales/Instagram Kate first announced 'Catherine's Rose' seven weeks ago, writing about how time spent in nature has always been a source of comfort and strength for her. She emphasized how gardens and green spaces support mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing. She completed chemotherapy in September 2024 and announced in January 2025 that she was in remission. Want all the latest entertainment news sent right to your inbox? Click here. Kate Middleton Stuns in Pale Pink as She and Prince William Present a United Front on This Historic Day

Teamwork makes the dream work—or at least that seems to be the case when it comes to British royal family members Prince William and Kate Middleton. The duo were out and about for a historic event today, and throughout the proceedings, they remained a united front. The historic moment in question? Today marked the first time in 17 years that France has made an official State Visit to the U.K. This meant the arrival of French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron. And Princess Catherine, Prince William, King Charles and Queen Camilla were all on hand to greet them. GONZALO FUENTES/POOL/AFP via Getty Images The Prince and Princess of Wales walked side by side as they arrived to greet the French president on the first day of the three-day State Visit. William wore his signature navy blue suit. Meanwhile, Princess Catherine wowed in a pale pink look from Christian Dior. Per People, this was her first-ever Dior appearance (and she knocked it out of the park, if you ask me). The united front continued as the Waleses rode away together in the back of their car. Catherine's pearls—and her bright smile—were on full display in photographs. GEOFF PUGH/POOL/AFP via Getty Images Of course, this was all just the beginning when it came to pomp and circumstance. Catherine and William then took a ride in the Ascot Landau carriage during a coach procession at Windsor Castle. Again, they were photographed side by side as they smiled and chatted with a pair of French ministers, also in town for the State Visit. ANDREW MATTHEWS/AFP via Getty Images Pics were also snapped this morning on the royal dais, where the monarch and Queen Camilla stood with the French president and his wife. Off to the side, almost at their own little mini event, Princess Catherine and Prince William also stood at makes a lot of sense that the duo was glued at the hip for a number of reasons. Sure, this is a very official undertaking, one where Catherine is expected to be by her husband's side. But also, King Charles is the monarch, meaning he and Camilla are the ones with the big duties. This leaves William and Catherine as a bit of a welcome addition, but a side note nonetheless. And, of course, Catherine has had quite the year when it comes to her health (even missing the Royal Ascot), so it's only natural that her husband—who has been her very obvious support system over the last year—would stick right by her side.
