Top Four Destinations for Jonathan Kuminga Revealed By NBA Insider
The biggest situation that the Golden State Warriors are waiting to have unfold in free agency is what happens to Jonathan Kuminga. The restricted free agent is likely to be gone from the Bay Area, but his next suitor has yet to emerge.

However, just because nothing has been officially finalized or set into motion, that does not mean there is absolutely no traction happening behind the scenes. One NBA insider offered a four-team list of the franchises circling around Kuminga.
Jake Fischer dropped another of NBA intel, discussing the murmurings happening around the league. Kuminga was a large focal point of that report.

Fischer wrote, "There are four primary teams, sources say, that have to be tracked thanks to varying levels of past and current sign-and-trade interest in Kuminga."
The Miami Heat are the team that the NBA insider wasted no time jumping into. There is a 'clear need' on the wing, according to Fischer, and Kuminga should be one of the main options to address that.

Fischer added, "Chicago, New Orleans and Sacramento are three more teams routinely suggested as possible landing spots for Kuminga, but pinpointing significant traction with any of them in these early stages of free agency has been difficult."
The Chicago Bulls would be a prime candidate for a sign-and-trade featuring the Warriors if it were not for one key factor. The Warriors are reportedly pivoting away from Nikola Vucevic, according to the insider.
The New Orleans Pelicans come across as an unlikely suitor, despite being listed. Cap constraints were highlighted as a primary holdback in a union between the parties involved.
Fischer wrote, "I've confirmed that the Pelicans hold an interest in Kuminga, but various team salary cap experts have pointed out to me that New Orleans has no easy route to take Kuminga on its books at his desired contract range."

The Sacramento Kings would involve Malik Monk in any sign-and-trade with the Warriors. However, Fischer pointed out 'nothing substantial has materialized' just yet.
The waiting game surrounding Kuminga's free agency appears to be slated to continue for a while longer. Warriors fans will need to pull up a chair.

LeBron James Fuels Rumors About Cavs Reunion Amid Lakers Trade Talk
LeBron James Fuels Rumors About Cavs Reunion Amid Lakers Trade Talk originally appeared on Athlon Sports. LeBron James has put pressure on his team's front office for much of his career, but that has rarely been the case with the Los Angeles Lakers. Advertisement He obviously still has some level of input, but he has rarely held the front office hostage with trade or free agent demands like he has with his past teams. The Lakers and Dallas Mavericks sent shockwaves through the league when they swapped Luka Doncic and Anthony Davis before free agency this year. Ever since the infamous blockbuster, the 21-time All-Star's camp has been singing a much different tune. James played a large role in the initial acquisition of Davis, the Cleveland Cavaliers trading for Kevin Love back in 2014 and now he appears to be pulling strings again. Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (23) reacts during the first half in game five of first round for the 2025 NBA A. Vasquez-Imagn Images Reporting around the league over the last few days suggests that the Lakers are much more focused on investing in their future than catering to the king. Advertisement If that is true, then it makes much more sense why James picked up the player option on his deal which is worth $52.6 million. His agent, Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul, put out a statement to the media earlier this week that reaffirmed his desires to compete for a championship in what could be his final NBA season. Amid the firestorm of rumors and trade buzz, James took to his Instagram story in what some fans and media pundits believe to be a subtle hint as to where he wants to land. The 'Welcome Home' hat could be seen as a sign that the four-time champion wants to finish out his playing career with Cleveland. Advertisement Although James has left his hometown team high and dry multiple times, many have assumed for years that he would still finish out his career there. The Lakers and Cavs would both need to pull off some salary cap gymnastics to put a deal together. There aren't currently any solid reports about a trade from either side, but James ending his career in the place where it all began would be poetic. LeBron James Addresses Cavs Trade Rumors After Viral Photo
LeBron James Addresses Cavs Trade Rumors After Viral Photo originally appeared on Athlon Sports. There has been a ton of recent chatter about LeBron James potentially departing from the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason. Advertisement The four-time champion is set to enter his 23rd season and just picked up his $52.6 million player option earlier this week. According to James and his agent, the Lakers front office has made it clear that they have their eye on the future, so he is considering requesting a trade. Naturally, the Cleveland Cavaliers were the first team that people linked the 21-time All-Star to. However, James recently took to social media and shunned a page who tried to link him back with his hometown team. Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (23) controls the ball against the Minnesota Timberwolves during the first half in game five of first round for the 2025 NBA Playoffs at A. Vasquez-Imagn Images The X/Twitter account posted a picture of James after a workout at the Cavs facility, seemingly implying that a reunion was in the works. Advertisement The king then replied, telling the world that he has trained at that gym every summer since the building opened. While this furious rebuttal doesn't necessarily mean that a James and Cleveland partnership is no longer possible, it certainly dims a flame that could once illuminate an entire room. Both the Cavaliers and the Lakers would need to pull off some salary cap acrobatics to make the money work in a potential trade, so that is another clear roadblock. James is one of only three players in the NBA that possess a no-trade clause in his contract, so he ultimately holds all the cards if he wants to be dealt. Advertisement There has been no formal trade request yet, but the media posturing by James gives credence to its possibility. Advertisement The Lakers, Warriors, Knicks, Thunder, and Rockets figure to be locks to play on Christmas, with the Nuggets and Timberwolves not far behind. Reynolds joined the Celtics as an intern in 2013 and worked in the video department for about five years before becoming a special assistant to the head coach for three. He was officially named an assistant coach in 2022 and has turned into one of head coach Joe Mazzulla's most trusted confidants. During games, Reynolds is usually tasked with deciding whether to challenge a call. ▪ Mazzulla is constantly seeking ways to improve, and based on a hint from president of basketball operations Brad Stevens, it's clear that this pursuit has not been scaled back this summer. 'I know Joe has already traveled the world to meet with people and talk about some [coaching philosophies],' Stevens said. 'I think he was excited to do that. He's actually at a conference tonight talking about leadership. He's always trying to learn and grow. I believe wholeheartedly in him and our staff figuring out how to best maximize our team.'
