Las Vegas fans disappointed as Kelly Clarkson cancels shows
The shows scheduled for 4 and 5 July were cancelled due to vocal strain caused by intense rehearsal sessions.
Kelly Clarkson revealed she needed to rest her voice to avoid serious damage, much to the disappointment of fans eagerly awaiting the performances.
In an emotional Instagram statement, Clarkson opened up. 'We have been working 24/7 to make Studio Sessions the most intimate and extraordinary experience for my incredible fans.
It breaks my heart to postpone these shows, but my voice needs rest to ensure I can give you the best performance possible.'
She added, 'The production is truly amazing, and the musicians and singers are exceptional. I want us to start strong.'
The singer, who has previously held a residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino from 2023 to 2024, expressed optimism about returning soon, according to The Daily Mail.
'I can't wait to come back next weekend and share what we've been working on,' she said.
Caesars Palace has confirmed the postponements and offered ticket holders the choice of refunds or keeping their tickets for rescheduled dates.
The residency is expected to run until 16 August, with additional shows planned for November, though the exact rescheduling of the cancelled performances remains uncertain.
Kelly Clarkson's fans expressed mixed reactions. Some were frustrated by the late notice and the financial implications, while many sent Clarkson messages of support and wished her a speedy recovery.
Vocal health is a critical concern for singers, and Clarkson's decision underscores the importance of safeguarding her instrument for the long haul.
For fans, this news is a reminder of the demanding nature of live performances, especially residencies that require rigorous preparation.
Kelly Clarkson's dedication to delivering a flawless show reflects the high standards expected in the entertainment industry worldwide.
The cancellation also highlights the physical toll that such intense schedules can take on artists. Kelly Clarkson, who is also a popular daytime talk show host, has been balancing multiple commitments.
The postponement allows her to prioritise her health without compromising the quality of her performances.
Kelly Clarkson's decision to delay her Las Vegas residency opening shows is a responsible move to protect her voice.

Amor Vittone slams filter critics: 'People want to do what you do'
Amor Vittone – the widow of the late Joost van der Westhuzien – has clapped back against critics who called her out for using filters on images she posts on social media. The 53-year–old entertainer recently announced that she was working on new music. Speaking on Jacaranda FM last week, Amor Vittone responded to criticism surrounding her images posted on social media. She said: 'Secretly, people want to do what you do…but seemingly judging others. 'Listen, I'm going to use a filter. It's not about me wanting to look young again. But it's me wanting to give the best version of myself. She added, 'It's not about looking different; it's about enhancing what you have. You put on makeup, you do your hair. Confidence is key. And if I'm confident, and I feel pretty, that shines through!' Amor Vittone's youthful face has sparked social media commentary. Images via Facebook: @officialamorvittone While Amor Vittone has dated a plastic surgeon in the past, she has been adamant that she hasn't had any. Late last year, the mother of two shut down speculation about her appearance. In the comments section of one of her posts, she posted: 'Kan julle net relax! Nie Botox of fillers nie. [Can you relax! No botox or filler]. Instead, she credited her picture-perfect snaps to 'good make-up and lighting with slight filter.' Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 021 1 .
