Hum tum ek camera mein bandh ho: Amul churns up 'scoop' on Astronomer's ex-CEO & Kristin Cabot's Coldplay kiss cam scandal
The ad comments on the incident involving Andy Byron, former CEO of the AI firm Astronomer, and the company's Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot, who were caught by the arena's 'kiss cam' in an awkward embrace - allegedly an affair.
In the cartoon shared on Amul's social media accounts, the brand's iconic Amul Girl watches the startled couple on a giant screen.
The tagline reads, 'Hum Tum Ek Camera Mein Bandh Ho!' —a pun on the classic Bollywood song 'Hum Tum Ek Kamre Mein Band Ho' , cleverly swapping 'kamra' (room) with 'camera.'
As always, Amul rounds it off with a witty signoff: 'Only scoops, no oops!'
The now-infamous video from the Coldplay concert shows Byron and Cabot embracing, only to quickly pull apart and obscure their faces once they realise they are being broadcast live.
The awkward moment prompted Coldplay's lead singer Chris Martin to quip, 'Either they're having an affair, or they're just very shy,' further fuelling public speculation. Though both executives are married, the video has led to widespread assumptions of a workplace affair. The clip rapidly spread across platforms, triggering debates about professional conduct, personal privacy, and the power of viral media in influencing reputations. The fallout was swift. Within days of the video going viral, Astronomer announced that both Byron and Cabot had been placed on leave, pending a formal investigation. Less than 24 hours later, Byron resigned from his role as CEO. In an official statement, the company confirmed: 'Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.' The company indicated that further details would be shared 'as appropriate,' while social media continues to dissect the incident.

Ishaan Khatter Opens Up About Reunion With Janhvi Kapoor: 'We Could Lean Onto Each Other...'
Ishaan Khatter opens up about filming Dhadak with Janhvi Kapoor as they reunite for Neeraj Ghaywan's Homebound, which premiered at Cannes 2025. Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor, who made their Bollywood debut together in Dhadak back in 2018, have reunited after seven years for their upcoming film Homebound. The Neeraj Ghaywan directorial had its world premiere at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2025 in May and is also set to be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. Dhadak, directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, was a Hindi adaptation of Nagraj Manjule's acclaimed Marathi film Sairat. The film explored issues of casteism and honour killing and went on to perform well at the box office. The much-anticipated spiritual sequel Dhadak 2, starring Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi, is slated for release on August 1. Now, ahead of Homebound, Ishaan opened up about his experience of working with Janhvi on Dhadak. In an interview with Zoom, the actor reflected on one of the film's most emotional scenes and shared, 'On Dhadak's set, Janhvi and I could lean onto each other." He further explained, 'My character is going through a lot of conflict. He is trying to be a man for her but he is not able to. He is dealing with his own issues. He has been uprooted from his family. You can see the cracks in him, his vulnerability. He is trying to be supportive, but inevitably he's dealing with his own demons." In Homebound, Ishaan stars alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Vishal Jethwa. The story follows two childhood friends—Shoaib Ali (played by Ishaan) and Chandan Kumar (played by Vishal)—who hail from a North Indian village and are determined to break free from the burden of their marginalised identities. However, a series of events leads to internal and external conflicts that test their bond. While the film has already garnered international attention at Cannes, its theatrical release date is still under wraps. Homebound marks a significant reunion for Ishaan and Janhvi, and fans are excited to see the duo together on screen once again. The former couple reportedly shares at least one child. The Post noted that Cabot then married Privateer Rum CEO Andrew Cabot, who was in Japan during the Coldplay concert mishap. Astronomer on Thursday confirmed that its executive in charge of human resources has left. 'Kristin Cabot is no longer with Astronomer, she has resigned," spokesman Taylor Jones said in a brief statement. Suniel Shetty On Salman Khan, Jackie Shroff: ‘They'd Do My Film Without Asking Why'
Last Updated: Suniel Shetty says Jackie Shroff and Salman Khan are still just a call away, not out of obligation, but their deep-rooted brotherhood. Suniel Shetty has always been admired for his humility and loyalty, and in a recent interview with Pinkvilla, he opened up about his decades-long bond with Salman Khan and Jackie Shroff. These iconic Bollywood friendships, rooted in trust and mutual respect, have stood the test of time. Recalling the early days, Suniel said, 'They were already stars. Just them walking into my shop was a big deal. It was huge publicity for me, but that's not why they came. Jackie Shroff is my hero, and Salman Khan is my friend. It's their humility that they talk about these things in public. That just shows the bond we share." Suniel stressed that their relationships were never transactional. 'Even today, Jackie is just a phone call away. Same with Salman. If I call and ask him to be in a film, he won't even ask why. Not because I helped them back then, but because that's the kind of respect and brotherhood we have always had." Their heartwarming history was revisited during a Kaun Banega Crorepati special episode in 2021, where both Suniel and Jackie appeared together. Suniel fondly reminisced, 'We've been friends for 45 years. We first met at places like Pastry Palace, Wonderworld, and Scandal Point—hangout spots for jobless guys like us. Jackie says I always kept clothes ready for him, but he always paid. Still, he would sit outside my shop just to make it look popular. That's the kind of friend he is." Jackie also recalled a deeply emotional moment. 'My father had a severe reaction to penicillin… Suniel offered his own house without a second thought. I stayed there with my father for 10–15 days." Salman Khan once shared a touching memory at IIFA 2022: 'I didn't have enough money to shop. I went to Suniel's store and had my eyes on a stone-wash shirt and a wallet. He saw me struggling and just gifted both to me. That stayed with me forever." First Published: July 25, 2025, 23:45 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
