Olectra Greentech Reports Impressive Growth in Q4 and Full Year 2024-25 Results
In the final quarter, Olectra delivered 219 electric vehicles, a notable 67% increase compared to the 131 units delivered in the same period last year. This surge in deliveries contributed to a revenue of ₹448.92 crores for Q4 FY 24-25, representing a 55% increase year-on-year. To date, the company has successfully delivered 2,718 electric vehicles, driven by robust demand, as evidenced by an impressive order backlog of 10,022 bus units.
Olectra's EBITDA for Q4 FY 24-25 reached ₹58.35 crores, reflecting a significant 36% increase from the previous fiscal year. Pre-tax profits (PBT) soared to ₹29.25 crores, marking a remarkable 45% growth from last year's ₹20.11 crores. The company's profit after tax (PAT) stood at ₹20.69 crores, up by 39% from ₹14.89 crores a year prior. The earnings per share (EPS) for the year ending 31 March 2025 were reported at ₹16.92, compared to ₹9.36 for the previous year.
For the full financial year, Olectra recorded a total revenue of ₹1,801.9 crores, a 56% increase. The EBITDA for the year hit ₹276.32 crores, up by 49%, while PBT surged to ₹187.88 crores, an impressive 78% increase compared to ₹105.78 crores in the prior fiscal year. The PAT for the year was ₹139.21 crores, reflecting a 77% increase from ₹78.65 crores.
Commenting on the results, Olectra Greentech Limited's Chairman and Managing Director, Mr K. V. Pradeep, expressed satisfaction with the strong growth in revenue and profitability for both Q4 and the full year. He emphasised the company's commitment to enhancing manufacturing capabilities and technology. Notably, Olectra unveiled its innovative Blade Battery Technology at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, which promises advanced energy density, quicker charging times, and improved overall performance, safety, and reliability in electric mobility.
Mr Pradeep concluded by reaffirming Olectra's dedication to innovation and excellence within the electric mobility sector, setting ambitious benchmarks for the future.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara India Launch Confirmed For September 3
Maruti Suzuki India Limited is set to launch its first electric vehicle, the e-Vitara, in the country on September 3. Showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the electric vehicle is among the most awaited models in the country. Coming from one of the largest car manufacturers in India, the car is expected to hold an important position in the market, competing against rivals like Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, MG ZS EV, and others. So far, the brand has disclosed several details about the vehicle gradually. To begin with the design, the design features a three-point matrix LED daytime running light integrated into the headlight. Additionally, the distinctive piano black accents in the center of the headlight are also eye-catching. The brand has placed Nexa branding on the rear windshield. All of this is complemented by 18-inch alloy wheels, sturdy C pillars, and a fresh design for the LED taillights. Next edition of Bharat Mobility Global Expo to be held from Feb 4-9, 2027

(AFP) Notify me The next edition of Bharat Mobility Global Expo (BMGE) will be held from February 4-9 in 2027, in Delhi, confirmed the Ministry of Commerce. In an official statement, the ministry has stated that the event aims to bring together various stakeholders from across the mobility industry, including industry representatives, policymakers, and technology experts. The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2027 is going to be the third edition of the automotive event. It will be held between February 4-9 in the National Capital Region of Delhi. The statement also added that there are new segments being considered for the 2027 edition of the BMGE in an attempt to broaden the scope of the event. "These include a dedicated section on multimodal mobility and logistics encompassing rail, road, air, water, urban and rural mobility, and a showcase focused on tractors and agricultural mobility solutions," the statement has revealed. The first two editions of the BMGE were held in 2024 and 2025. These events drew participation from a wide cross-section of the mobility industry and focused on themes such as clean mobility, innovation, and integration with global supply chains. The latest 2025 edition was held across three different venues - Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi, and India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. The 2025 edition of BMGE recorded participation from more than 1,500 exhibitors across segments. Besides that, more than 9.8 lakh visitors attended the event, which included product launches and technology showcases across segments, as well as conferences, buyer-seller meets, and international delegations. The expo is an industry-led initiative coordinated by the Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPCI) and other organisations, including SIAM, ACMA, ATMA, NASSCOM, and CII. In the 2027 edition, the stakeholders are expected to emphasise more on the cleaner mobility technologies as the government and automobile manufacturers have been increasingly focusing on the transition to cleaner energy.
