Bobby Deol has been married to Tanya since 1996. While the actor has starred in several romantic films in his career, his real life love story has not been less than a fairytale. He noticed Tania at a famous cafe in Mumbai for the first time, after which they bumped into each other a couple of times. Bobby chased the girl of his dreams by calling her and losing card games to her, eventually confessing his love for her and proposing her for marriage while driving her home. In an old interview, Tanya had revealed she was just 19 when she met Bobby's parents–Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur–for the first time and decided to marry him.
In an old interview with celebrity designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, Tanya shared Bobby first noticed her at Trattoria where she was with her brother and common friends. 'Bobby knew one of them. And then we bumped into each other a couple of times at night. I didn't say hello to him when I saw him because I didn't know him. I didn't bother. It didn't matter.'
After their unintentional meet ups at the cafe, Bobby and Tanya ended up meeting at Chunky Panday's Diwali party. 'Bobby came and he sat and played cards at the same table. He kept losing to me but he wouldn't pay me. He said. 'I will take you out for a meal.' I said, 'What's wrong with this guy?' And then a while later he called me up. It was some absurd hour at night and I was fast asleep. I picked up the call without knowing who it was and I said, 'I will call you tomorrow.''
As Bobby called her on the landline, Tanya couldn't figure who called her at night. 'The next day, I went and asked all of my friends whether they were the ones who called me and they all said no. He thought I was this snooty girl. A week later, he decided to try once again. He called me at normal hours and this time we spoke. And we spoke for like seven to eight hours that night.'

They continued to speak for that entire week when Tanya realised she was in love with the movie star. She said, 'It was like a fairytale. We didn't even go on a date, we kept attending parties. This one night, he insisted to drop me home and at my door, he asked me to marry him.'
Tanya shared this news with her mother as her father was not in the town. 'My mom wanted to meet him. It took them just 15 minutes to vibe and act as it they knew each other for ages.'
Tanya then recalled meeting Bobby's parents, actor Dharmendra and wife Prakash Kaur, for the first time. 'I was all of 19–really quite nervous. I was dressed in a salwar-kameez. His parents were really warm and made me feel very comfortable, and at ease. They welcomed me with open arms.'
Six months later, the couple got married in a huge wedding with about 10,000 people in attendance. 'Initially, it was Bobby and me and eventually the family took over and we were just sidelined. We had a huge wedding. We had about 10,000 people', said Tanya.
Speaking to SCREEN, Bobby had also spoken about their love story, 'She's my woman, my life, everything. She is the best thing that could have happened to me. I met her, I chased her… she was from South Bombay, she didn't give me any attention, but I still chased her. Somewhere I knew, she will fall in love with me. And then she did. We met, and in two months, we decided to get married. By this time, my parents were just dying for me to get married.'

‘Sohail Khan's producer refused to pay what I was owed', recalls Bobby Darling: ‘You expect me to pay you and give a role too?'

Bobby Darling, who appeared in many Hindi films in the early 2000s, and was also seen in reality shows like Bigg Boss, recently shared that she was mistreated by many Hindi film producers when she started working in the movies. The actor was seen in films like Page 3, Chalte Chalte, among many others. In a recent interview, she opened up about her experience of working in Sohail Khan-starrer Maine Dil Tujhko Dia, which was produced by the actor and his friend, Bunty Walia. Bobby shared that while she had a great experience of working with Sohail, she was disappointed when Bunty dismissed her after she asked for her rightful payment. In a chat with Siddharth Kannan, Bobby recalled that her role in the film was increased after she was signed to be a part of the film. She asked for a higher salary after the role was increased and was told by Bunty Walia, 'Tumhe role bhi de aur paise bhi? Kahan se aa jate hain? (You expect me to pay you and give a role too? Where do these people come from?)' Bobby recalled that she shared a friendly relationship with Sohail. Salman Khan, who is Sohail's older brother, would also visit the set and Bobby shared a great equation with him as well as the star invited her for a few parties at his house. 'Salman would come on the set. He would meet me so nicely. He would get pictures clicked. He was so humble, so nice. Sohail was nice, so down to earth,' she recalled. Bobby Darling shared that at the time, she contemplated to speak with Salman and Sohail Khan but was fearful that if she complained about Bunty Walia, he would kick her out of the film. Talking about the 'rude' conversation with Bunty, Bobby said, 'I felt so bad, I started crying. I thought I will speak to Sohail because he had been so nice to me throughout the shoot. But I thought that if I go to Sohail, Bunty Walia will throw me out of the film. Where will I go? I didn't raise it with anyone. I just kept quiet and kept whatever he paid me.' But he doesn't talk to me anymore, nor does he respond to my messages," she said during a chat with Bollywood Thikana. "There was a time when the three of us would go to Prithvi Theatre to have chicken dhansak, a Parsi dish. He liked it a lot. We also used to go to movies often. That time has passed. But what hurt me the most was when I texted him a year or two ago saying I wished to meet him, he didn't even reply. How can someone be so rude? Ranbir Kapoor's 'Ramayana' has already earned Rs 1,000 crore just with its first look, even before the film has released, here's how!

The much-anticipated first look of Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana starring Ranbir Kapoor , Yash, Sai Pallavi and many other big stars, created a major buzz last week. Touted as the biggest Indian film ever made, it's being produced by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios. This excitement also brought a positive impact on the company's performance in the stock market and that's how it has managed to earn a huge profit even before its release. Prime Focus, which is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), had already seen a 30% jump in its share price—from ₹113.47 to ₹149.69—between June 25 and July 1, after its board approved the issue of 462.7 million equity shares through a preferential allotment. But the release of the first glimpse of Ramayana on July 3 sent the shares soaring even further. By July 3, Prime Focus' shares hit ₹176, pushing the company's market capitalization from ₹4,638 crore to a high of ₹5,641 crore—an increase of over ₹1,000 crore in just two days. Eventually, the share price settled at ₹169, with the market cap stabilizing at around ₹5,200 crore. Meanwhile, Ranbir is expected to become a part-owner of the production company. He was listed among the proposed investors after the board approved the issuance of new shares. According to Business Standard, Ranbir will receive 1.25 million shares, estimated to be worth nearly ₹20 crore based on current market rates. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana will be released in two parts—Part 1 on Diwali 2026, and Part 2 in 2027. The film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. Music legends AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer are joining hands for the film's score, marking Zimmer's Bollywood debut.
