Wisconsin man suffers serious, life-threatening injuries following crash, arrested for OWI
According to a release from the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded at 11:27 p.m. to County Road MM near Bluebird Road in the Township of Lebanon for a reported crash.

Officials on the scene say a 2017 Ram 1500 was heading north on Bluebird Road when it failed to stop at a stop sign and proceeded through the intersection before hitting a tree and coming to rest in a small creek.
The driver of the vehicle, a 50-year-old man from Watertown, was trapped inside the vehicle and suffered serious, life-threatening injuries.
The 50-year-old man was flown from the scene by Flight for Life to the Aurora Summit Hospital. He was also arrested for his first Operating While Intoxicated offense.

Woman dies while running ultra marathon in Colorado
DENVER (KDVR) — A woman from Michigan died while running the ultra marathon Hardrock 100 Endurance race in Colorado on Friday, according to Silverton Medical Rescue. The race takes place near Silverton and challenges runners with its 102-mile running distance. The difference a year makes for Nuggets' Holmes II At 9:02 a.m. on Friday, the San Juan County Sheriff's Office and the Silverton Medical Rescue team received a search and rescue call about an in-progress CPR being administered by the Hardrock 100 Safety Sweep Team members. The woman was located near Gold Lake on Little Giant Trail in San Juan County. The responding crews had to take a 4×4 backcountry road before hiking a quarter mile to the woman. Upon reaching the woman, the crews took over the resuscitation efforts, which were unsuccessful. The woman was pronounced dead at 10:27 a.m. The San Juan County Colorado Coroners Office identified the woman as 60-year-old Elaine Stypula. The responding agencies included: San Juan County Sheriff's Office Silverton Medical Rescue Flight for Life helicopter team 'Silverton Medical Rescue is fortunate to have a team of skilled rescue professionals. A local official in Wisconsin is facing death threats after he allegedly used a leash to strangle a lost and scared golden retriever in front of the horrified good Samaritan who had just rescued the pooch. Town of Chester Chairman Richard Van Buren, 55, is facing a single count of felony mistreatment of an animal, according to a criminal complaint, after allegedly lifting the dog by its neck with a leash and saying, 'This f–king dog is going to die.' 'That was not a mistreatment of an animal; that was murder of an animal. And I've seen this and witnessed this,' Shelby Krohn, who saved the dog, told Fox 6 with tears streaming down her face.
