Molly Gordon Spills on Working With 2 of the Internet's Boyfriends, Jeremy Allen White and Logan Lerman: 'My Job Is Easy' (Exclusive)

Molly Gordon is not complaining.
The 29-year-old actress has achieved an enviable feat with her two most recent projects. In June, the fourth season of The Bear premiered to rave reviews, and she's following up that success with the upcoming film, Oh, Hi!
In the hit FX series about a moody Chicago chef, Gordon plays Claire, a childhood love interest of Carmy (Jeremy Allen White), who reconnects with him later in life. In Oh, Hi!, she chains Logan Lerman to a bed after their first trip as a couple takes an unfortunate turn when he confesses he doesn't want to date her.
Between the two projects, she's worked with two of the internet's favorite boyfriends — White and Lerman — and she knows she's lucky.
"They're both lovely," Gordon tells PEOPLE of her two costars at Sony Pictures Classics and The Cinema Society's screening of Oh, Hi! at the Roxy Cinema and Jimmy on July 22.
"They're both lovely people, so that's the similarity [between them]," she adds.
"But, yeah, I'm lucky," Gordon says. "My job is easy."
Lerman, 33, who joins his costar for the joint interview ahead of the screening, says it still "shocks me any time somebody says" that he's an internet boyfriend — even as Gordon teases, "You know that."
"It's a very jarring thing to be told," Lerman admits. "But it's a sweet compliment, so that's nice."
The actress had both aforementioned viral crushes by her side as she stepped out for the celebration in New York City.
White, 34, attended the screening and party with Gordon, while Lerman was joined by his fiancée, Analuisa Corrigan.
It was the first time that Gordon and White were photographed together since they were spotted sharing a kiss in Los Angeles last year.
Following the PDA moment, a source told PEOPLE that there had been "set rumors early on that they had intense chemistry even when not filming," but they "didn't start hanging out romantically" until the summer of 2024.
At the time, the source said the actor "really seems into Molly" and "they're affectionate, often in deep conversations and seem curious to get to know each other better."
Neither White nor Gordon has spoken publicly about the nature of their relationship since.
The Theater Camp star did briefly touch on the response to her and White's kiss during a recent interview with Vanity Fair, as she said, "With the internet, I just think — I even see it in myself as a fan of things — we're just a more judgmental society."
The actor, who will next play Bruce Springsteen in the upcoming biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere, was linked to singer Rosalía prior to speculation about his off-camera relationship with Gordon. They were last seen together in July 2024, a year and a half after their first sighting.
White was previously married to Addison Timlin, with whom he shares daughters Ezer and Dolores.

Jay Leno Warns Against One-Sided Political Jokes: ‘Why Shoot for Just Half an Audience?'

The former late night host's comments came days before Stephen Colbert announced the end of "The Late Show" Jay Leno has said for years that he doesn't understand why comedians would lean into one-sided political humor – and most recently cautioned against it just days before Stephen Colbert announced his late night show run on CBS was coming to an end. 'Comedy can be used to unite or divide people,' Leno said on July 15 during a conversation with David Trulio at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institution. Leno was asked for his thoughts on the intersection of comedic commentary and politics, two realms he sought for years to balance carefully. They often were reacting to 'the same joke' he said, which was 'how you got the whole audience.' Leno reflected on his decades-long friendship with Rodney Dangerfield and noted, 'I knew Rodney for 40 years. I have no idea if he was Democrat or Republican. We never discussed it. We just discussed jokes.' 'And to me, I like to think that people come to a comedy show to kind of get away from the things, you know, the pressures of life or whatever it might be — and I love political humor,' Leno continued. After he was asked how to find 'common ground' through humor, Leno insisted that only catering to one political persuasion was ineffective. 'Well, why shoot for just half an audience all the time? You know, why not try to get the whole, I mean, I like to bring people into the big picture,'' he said. 'I don't understand why you would alienate one particular group, you know, or just don't do it at all.' Watch the interview in the video above. Marvel is Making Big, Cosmic Moves in Its Comics

Things are always happening in the Marvel Universe, and a lot's been happening as of late. Doctor Doom's taken over the planet and there's been some big assassinations up in space, and they're both leading to some new status quo changes over the rest of 2025 and into 2026. At its various panels across San Diego Comic-Con, the publisher gave details on what's to come in the aftermath of its two big, current events, Imperial and One World Under Doom. In the pages of Doom's final issue in November, the evil Doctor will make sure to turn his victory over Earth's heroes into a fixed point in time, which also means his defeat is just as fixed, too. This will lead us into what looks like a hunt for the new Sorcerer Supreme since Doom's apparently vacated the spot. Our candidates include the likes of Storm, Nico Minoru, and Captain Marvel, and the succession process will begin in December. Space-wise, Imperial will end its four-part story in October. In its wake is a number of new cosmic-focused books, two of which were fully revealed: Planet She-Hulk from Stephanie Phillips and Aaron Kuder picks up with Jess still stuck on Sakaar and running things after promising to rule over it in Hulk's absence. And in Nova: Centurion, Jed McKay and Álvaro López pick up with Richard Rider as a drifter holding a sentient repository of the now extinct Xandarians. That repository requires a lot of energy and money, and that means Rich has to make some cash while reeling from knowing the 'terrible lie that the new Galactic Union was built upon.' Both books will be followed by Black Panther: Intergalactic in December, then Exiles and Imperial Guardians in winter 2026. The premises and creative teams for those will be revealed in the coming months. Over in Ultimate Marvel, that universe's heroes will see their first big event in Ultimate Endgame. Announced prior to SDCC, the five-issue miniseries Deniz Camp, Jonas Scharf, and other artists sees the Maker (Reed Richards) finally come out of his prison to find the heroes that've cropped up in his absence. Now that he's freed, it falls to the Ultimates, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Mei, and Wolverine to gather thier allies and fight for their world. During the Ultimate Marvel panel, Camp said the event 'has a bigger impact than most people will know' on the main and Ultimate universes, and further likened it to Crisis on Infinite Earths before Jonathan Hickman cheekily corrected him with Secret Wars. Before Ultimate Endgame begins on New Year's Eve, Hickman and Marco Checchetto's Ultimate Spider-Man will wrap after a two-year run on Christmas Eve. (The other books, such as Ultimate Black Panther and Ultimate X-Men, don't have final issues set at time of writing.) However, this isn't the complete end, as Marvel's promised that book will 'create promising roadmaps for future storytelling.' What awaits the Ultimate universe after things go down in Endgame will have to wait until 2026 draws closer. Want more io9 news?
