A 40-year-old man fell to his death at an Oasis concert at London's Wembley Stadium on Saturday night — as the Britpop legends' fans were shattering the venue's all-time booze sales record, according to reports.
Cops responded to the scene when the man, who has not yet been identified, was said to be injured in the stadium just before 10:30 p.m., according to the Metropolitan Police.

He was pronounced dead on the scene, and authorities confirmed his injuries were 'consistent with a fall.'
Oasis members said they were 'shocked and saddened' by the tragedy, offering 'sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved,' in a statement Sunday.
The concert was part of Oasis' first tour in 16 years, drawing an estimated 80,000 fans per show since the tour early last month.

Their fans have helped set a new Wembley record of roughly 250,000 pints of beer sold each night, the Standard reported.
Roughly 4,500 kegs have been brought in for the gigs and unused areas of the stadium converted into storage to meet gig-goers' boozy demands, the outlet said.

Pubs on the way to Wembley Stadium have also seen a boost in sales, according to local reports.
The amount of booze being sold at the stadium during the Oasis shows is more than double the number of pints peddled during Coldplay's 2023 gigs there, according to catering company Delaware North.
Taylor Swift fans are practically teetotalers by comparison, reportedly downing just 40,000 pints during her London shows.
Oasis's reunion tour, featuring brother duo Liam and Noel Gallagher, kicked off July 4 in Cardiff, Wales, with Saturday's concert being the fourth of seven planned shows at Wembley.

Police are urging anyone who saw the man's death or caught it on phone video to contact authorities as they continue to investigate..
Stadium management said Sunday's gig would go ahead as planned.

Michelle Obama calls husband Barack Obama 'my everything' in sweet birthday post

Michelle Obama shared a sweet message for her husband, former president Barack Obama, on his birthday. The former first lady took to Instagram and shared a photo with Barack Obama, along with a sweet note. "Happy birthday to my love, my best friend, my everything!" she wrote. "@BarackObama, even after all these years, you're still the coolest guy I know. 💕" Barack Obama replied in the comments and wrote, "Love you, Miche! And thanks everybody for all the birthday wishes." The sweet note comes months after Michelle Obama set the record straight about her marriage to Barack Obama. During a conversation with Sophia Bush on the "Work in Progress" podcast in April, she addressed divorce rumors that have circulated about her and the former president after he had attended several events solo earlier this year. In July, she and Barack Obama also laughed off divorce rumors during an episode of her and her brother's podcast, "IMO." "There hasn't been one moment in our marriage where I thought about quittin' my man. And we've had some really hard times," Michelle Obama said. "We have had a lot of fun times, a lot of adventures, and I have become a better person because of the man I'm married to." Barack and Michelle Obama wed in Chicago in 1992.

Duchess Meghan turns 44: British royal gets sweet birthday shoutout from As Ever brand

Duchess Meghan may be busy building her business kingdom, but today she's being crowned. The British American royal and entrepreneur, who turned 44 on Monday, Aug. 4, received a warm birthday shoutout on Instagram from her lifestyle brand As Ever, which launched in April to fan acclaim. The company, which has become known for its homey aesthetic and assortment of fruit spreads, herbal teas and baking mixes, shared a black-and-white photo of the duchess wearing a sun dress and wide-brimmed hat alongside its celebratory message. "Celebrating the woman behind it all," the company wrote in the post's caption. "She pours her heart, vision and magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder @meghan 🥂" See Duchess Meghan's daughter Lilibet: Young princess makes adorable cameo in As Ever teaser Meghan, who is married to Prince Harry, has yet to share any glimpses of her birthday festivities with her 4.1 million Instagram followers. The Duchess of Sussex has been more open about her family life with Harry, which includes children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, with a series of candid posts. Meghan first teased As Ever in March 2024 when she made a buzzy return to Instagram after a yearslong social media hiatus to introduce fans to the lifestyle project, formerly named American Riviera Orchard. The duchess later revealed she renamed the brand As Ever because the previous title, a reference to her and Harry's Montecito residence, "limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area." The first As Ever drop sold out in under an hour, and one product — the limited-edition wildflower honey with honeycomb for $28 — had fans buzzing, selling out in less than five minutes. The featured products in the company's first collection included $12 herbal tea in three flavors: hibiscus, peppermint and lemon ginger. 'You have to be authentic': Duchess Meghan responds to twerking video backlash The lifestyle brand teased its upcoming release, a vintage rosé wine, in an Instagram video on Aug. 3. "Goodness in a glass. Right around the corner... Cheers to August!" the company wrote alongside the teaser. As Ever is produced alongside Netflix, which also distributes Meghan's lifestyle show "With Love, Meghan." The series premiered in March and was quickly renewed for a second season, although a release date has not been announced. Contributing: Taijuan Moorman and Jay Stahl, USA TODAY
