Veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan is redefining fitness goals at 75. On Monday, the Koi… Mil Gaya director took to Instagram to share a video of his rigorous workout session — a reel packed with punches, weighted squats, and high-intensity training that could rival any professional athlete.
In the video, Rakesh is seen powering through a variety of exercises: boxing drills, leg presses, battle ropes, and weightlifting. Whether it was shoulder-loaded squats or core-focused stability routines, he performed each movement with precision and determination. Drenched in focus and sweat, the filmmaker served up serious fitness inspiration.
Captioning the video, he wrote, 'It's not about being healthy — it's about feeling your best every day." And it clearly resonated with fans and celebrities alike.
His son, Hrithik Roshan, known for his own ripped physique, was one of the first to comment, 'Uff d***! Too good papa." Rakesh shared a nostalgic photo with his son and wrote, 'Duggu, 25 years back I launched you as an actor, and today, after 25 years, you're being launched as a director by Aditya Chopra and myself to take forward our most ambitious film #Krrish4."
With Krrish 4 now backed by Yash Raj Films, Rakesh called the collaboration 'a rare and deliciously creative combination," highlighting that it was Aditya Chopra who convinced Hrithik to take the plunge into direction.

The vlog starts with the Panday family organizing a havan at their home two days before the release of Saiyaara. Ahaan Panday, sitting on the floor in a white kurta, reveals that he misses his dadi (paternal grandmother), whose portrait is also kept there to mark her presence. His father reveals Chikki Panday reveals Ahaan used to fight with his dadi to put ghee into the sacred fire in his childhood. In another scene, as the Panday family sit together in the living room, Alanna makes Ahaan hold her one-year-old son River. She describes him as the biggest fan of Krish Kapoor, the character Ahaan plays in Saiyaara. They plan to make River wear a t-shirt that says, 'I'm Krish Kapoor's best friend.' Ahaan reveals while River had not been warming up to his uncle all this while, he's suddenly took to him after watching the trailer of Saiyaara. We then see Ivor try to sing the Saiyaara title track, filmed on Ahaan, in broken Hindi. His singing gives way to laughter a couple of times as Alanna records her husband attempting to sing in Hindi. The family then visits the mini theatre at Yash Raj Studios for the film's first screening, where they also meet Aneet Padda and her parents. 'It's really nerve-wrecking. And also, he's (Ahaan) not helping much. I show my shaking hand, he's like, 'Me too!' (shows shaking hand),' Aneet says in the vlog. During the screening, Ivor makes River peep into the theatre to watch Ahaan Panday lip-syncing on the screen, much to his nephew's surprise. He even lets out a chuckle after Ivor steps away with River in his arms. After the screening, the Panday family hug Ahaan and Aneet and admit they were all crying throughout the film.
