Three arrested after 'loving' father stabbed to death outside casino
Blue Stevens, 24, died after he was attacked in Seville Street, Knightsbridge, at around 9.30pm on July 9.
Two men were arrested in Hounslow on Saturday. One man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and remains in custody, while another man was arrested on suspicion of murder and has been bailed.
Following their arrests, officers obtained a warrant to search two properties in Chiswick where significant evidence was recovered, the Met said.
A third man was arrested on Monday on suspicion of assisting an offender and remains in custody.
The incident took place near The Park Tower Knightsbridge hotel and restaurant Nusr-Et, run by Turkish chef Nusret Gokce, aka 'Salt Bae'.
Detective Chief Superintendent Christina Jessah said: 'These arrests mark a significant milestone in this complex and unfolding murder investigation. We continue to progress at pace.
'While we retain an open mind around motive, one line of inquiry is now that this may have been a targeted attack.'
His partner, who was with Blue when he was attacked, wrote in a card nestled amongst the growing floral tributes: 'To My Blue.
'We are all absolutely devastated without you.
'You took a piece of my heart with you. A part of me has gone with you. I love you more than absolutely anyone in this world.
'My boy forever and always.'
A cousin told Metro: 'He had two lovely kids and was a loving father he lived for his children.
'He was such a nice person, a real good person.'
The Park Tower Casino was first built in 1973 and refurbished in 2002. It features a five-star, 251-room hotel with a casino on the ground floor.
Its premium location in Knightsbridge is just around the corner from Hyde Park and close to Harrods and Harvey Nichols, with its rooms offering views of the iconic London skyline.
Police are calling on anyone who saw the attack or has any information to get in touch.

Model's fury at phone snatchers after they take her mobile twice in three months
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video An Australian model is begging London to sort out the spate of phone snatching after she had her mobile stolen twice in three months. Footage shows Emma Van Der Hoek getting her phone wrestled off her by a man in a dark tracksuit who ran away after prizing it out of her hands. She was walking on the corner of Sotheby Road and Highbury Park along the path on her phone when the thief attacked her. Emma tries to chase after the man but he was able to sprint around the corner as another man followed him. She wrote: 'My phone got stolen yesterday in London!!! This is the second time in three months that this has happened – all within my so called 'safe' neighbourhood.' But she was then subject to online abuse, with trolls blaming her for the robbery. Some 78,000 people had phones or bags stolen from them on British streets in the year to March 2024. That is a rise of more than 150% on the 31,000 'snatch thefts' in the 12 months before, according to data from the Crime Survey for England and Wales. Figures also show that four in five police investigations were closed before a suspect was even found and just 0.8% of 'theft from the person' complaints resulted in a charge. The government has pledged to crackdown on the scourge, with the Home Office saying it will work more closely with tech firms and police chiefs. In this year alone, 213 phones have already been stolen in the City of London. For the same period between 1 January and 30 April last year, there were 294 phone snatching reports. Emma added: 'This video is at nearly 500k views on TikTok and the amount of victim blaming comments is actually insane. 'People have got so used to theft in London that they've started blaming the victims instead of holding criminals accountable. 'If you are one of the boys that stole my phone, return it and I'll delete the video. If anyone's knows anything, please message me!' She is one of thousands of victims in London. While the Met has made significant progress in stopping snatchers, it is clear more needs to be done. This week the Met announced they managed to arrest 10 people involved in phone snatching gangs with their new Flying Squad. On Thursday, 19 June eight men, aged between 20 and 31, and two 17-year-old boys were arrested at addresses in London on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Detective Chief Inspector Laura Hillier, who is leading the investigation from the Met's Flying Squad, said: 'Phone robbery has boomed globally, and London is not immune. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video 'There is a concerted effort by criminal gangs to steal phones and sell them overseas as part of a multi-million-pound industry. More Trending 'The Met is catching more of these criminals and operations such as this are vital to disrupting offenders who cause fear and misery to shop workers and communities.' The force also carried out a two week focus at the start of the year, leading to the arrests of 292 people. In footage released by the Metropolitan Police, one plain clothed police officer is seen spotting a phone snatcher, in a dark blue backwards baseball cap and black jacket in Oxford Circus. The thief had targeted an elderly person in the tourist hot spot, but one officer spotted the attack and tackled him to the ground in front of shocked pedestrians. Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THIS is the horror moment a British tourist was dragged out of a holiday bar and beaten by staff after allegedly refusing to pay a staggering £460 drinks bill. Disturbing footage from the bar in Thailand's Chiang Mai city shows the shirtless holidaymaker being manhandled near the entrance as chaos erupts. 4 A Brit tourist was dragged from a Thai bar and beaten by staff after allegedly refusing to pay a £460 drinks bill Credit: ViralPress 4 People could be seen grabbing the holidaymaker as others kicked him repeatedly Credit: ViralPress 4 Cops say the argument started inside the bar Credit: ViralPress At least six men can be seen grabbing his arms and legs while others unleash a barrage of kicks to his body as he pleads: 'I'll pay in cash. I swear. I'll come pay in cash.' The 26-year-old solo traveller was reportedly charged an inflated 20,000 baht - around £460 - for drinks at the Diamond Karaoke Bar on Wednesday night. But when he refused to pay and tried to leave, bar workers chased him outside and launched into the brutal attack. Thai cops confirmed that nine staff members have been arrested in connection with the brawl, which was caught on camera and shared widely online. Colonel Pratchaya Thisala, from the local Black Hawk police unit, said: "The British tourist was travelling alone. "According to the initial medical examination, he only sustained minor injuries and nothing was broken. "There is a lot of witness testimony and evidence. The security camera footage shows that an argument started inside the bar. He added: "The foreigner wanted to return to his accommodation first and suggested they talk again later, but the other party didn't agree. The altercation then escalated outside the bar. At the time, the foreigner was also intoxicated." Those arrested are aged between 18 and 28, with one of them having reportedly turned himself in. Moment Brits including woman are beaten and kicked by Turkish 'Mad Boys' bouncers in row over bill and 'insulting flag' They now face charges of assault, operating an unlicensed entertainment venue, and selling alcohol past legal hours. Locals said the bar had been operating for only two months under new management, after the previous owner had sold the business. Police were known to make frequent visits to the establishment over recurring arguments between staff and patrons, often over allegedly inflated bills. Most of the customers were tourists, usually dropped off by hired drivers or vans who were reportedly paid with commissions by the bar. The bar has since been shut down by authorities. It comes as another holiday bar brawl made headlines after British tourists were filmed being battered by restaurant bouncers in Turkey. The wild scene unfolded outside the Mad Boys restaurant in Marmaris on June 2 after a row reportedly erupted over an unpaid 5,000 TL (£92) bill and alleged insults directed at the Turkish flag. Footage shows the fight breaking out on the pavement as male staff launch a violent frenzy of punches and kicks. Two tourists are knocked to the ground and mercilessly kicked as they lie curled up on the pavement. In an astonishing moment, one restaurant worker even leaps out of a window to join the melee, as stunned passersby scream in horror. A male Brit can be seen trying to fend off attackers, shadow boxing as chaos swirls around him. Two women attempting to break up the fight are also punched and stamped on before collapsing.
