Islamic Jihad releases video of "Israeli" captive Rom Braslavski pleading for food
In the video, Braslavski appears pleading for food, saying, 'I am not eating or drinking. Please bring food, I am dying of hunger.' He also expressed fear that he might not leave Gaza alive.
Braslavski stated he was being denied food due to the "Israeli" military operation 'Gideon's Chariots' and held "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responsible for his deteriorating health and lack of nutrition.
He introduced himself in the video: 'Hello everyone watching this tape. I am Rom Braslavski, 22 years old, a soldier in the Israeli army, held captive by the Islamic Jihad Movement – Saraya al-Quds.'
Braslavski said he had been in captivity for nearly two years and described ongoing suffering, mentioning pain in his feet and hands and a worsening condition since the "Israeli" operation targeted Gaza.
He recalled watching television by Saraya al-Quds' order and witnessing starving children and skeletal bodies, adding, 'I have never seen such scenes of "Israeli" children. This is illogical and cruel.'
In his message, Braslavski held Prime Minister Netanyahu responsible for his health condition, stating, 'Netanyahu is responsible for my illness and blood. I was very close to death, and I am dying of hunger here.'
The soldier concluded with a plea: 'Please bring food before I die of hunger. Saraya al-Quds used to help and fulfill my requests, but now supplies have run out.'

Hamas comments on US envoy visit to Gaza
Hamas has condemned the recent visit by US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff to aid distribution centers in the Gaza Strip, calling it a 'pre-planned show aimed at misleading public opinion and whitewashing the occupation's image.' The movement said Witkoff's statements attempted to portray aid distribution as peaceful and orderly, contradicting the reality on the ground, where ongoing military operations have killed over 1,300 civilians while receiving aid. Hamas also criticized the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) overseen by Witkoff, describing it as part of the broader crime and as a contributor to what it called a continuing policy of starvation and genocide. The group accused the US administration of being a full partner in 'the crime of starvation and genocide,' and urged Washington to take historical responsibility by withdrawing its support for 'Israeli' actions and working toward a ceasefire agreement that would end the assault, ensure the withdrawal of 'Israeli' forces, and lift the blockade on Gaza. Hamas stressed that aligning with 'Israel' would only deepen the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and prolong the conflict in the region.

'Israeli' captive held in Gaza pleads for help, says he's been abandoned
An 'Israeli' captive held by Hamas's Al-Qassam Brigades, Evyatar David, has issued a distress call describing severe health and living conditions inside captivity, warning that his life is in danger. In a video message released Saturday, David said, "I haven't eaten for days, and I don't know what I will eat… I'm getting thinner by the day and in very bad shape." Addressing 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he added: "I feel like I've been abandoned." David stated that his physical condition is deteriorating rapidly, saying, "With each passing day, my body grows weaker… what I'm doing now is digging my own grave with my own hands." His remarks come amid a deadlock in negotiations over a potential prisoner exchange deal between Palestinian resistance factions and the 'Israeli' government. Meanwhile, internal pressure continues to mount on Netanyahu's cabinet as families of captives demand urgent action to bring their loved ones home alive.
