Auburn named a finalist for top-five 2026 defensive lineman
Auburn football has had recent success in recruiting quality defensive linemen such as Malik Autry, Jourdin Crawford, Malik Blocton, and Keldric Faulk. Auburn is now in the mix to secure another one in the 2026 recruiting cycle following a top-five reveal.
Nolan Wilson, a four-star defensive lineman from Picayune, Mississippi, dropped his top-five schools this week, which included the Auburn Tigers. Auburn remains a heavy threat in Wilson's recruitment, joining Ole Miss, Florida, Miami, and Alabama.
'I was able to narrow it down based off of the relationships that I have with the coaches, the like I have for the school and how they said that they would develop me and use me,' Wilson said in a recent interview with On3.
Relationships are a key driver in Wilson's recruitment, and Auburn has two excellent tools to support this area. Auburn defensive line coach Vontrell King-Williams has been a force in Auburn's recruitment recently, and it helps that Hugh Freeze landed one of Wilson's high school teammates during the 2024 cycle.
'The relationship that I have with Coach Vontrell King-Williams, my former teammate Jamonta Waller, the atmosphere of the Auburn games, and how they said they'd use me as well," Waller said of Auburn and the relationships he has built within the program.
The four-star defensive lineman has not set a commitment date yet, but will begin his official visit tour next week at Alabama. He will visit Auburn during the weekend of June 6 before rounding out June with visits to Ole Miss and Miami. Wilson is the No. 4 defensive lineman from the 2026 cycle according to On3's Industry Ranking, and is a top-five overall recruit from Mississippi by every major recruiting outlet.

Dolphins UDFA Profile: WR Monaray Baldwin
The Miami Dolphins have speed all over their offense, and undrafted free agent wide receiver Monaray Baldwin is looking to be the team's newest big-play threat. Baldwin was a slot receiver during his four seasons at Baylor where he became a key contributor to the Bears offense. In 2023, The Athletic highlighted Baldwin's athleticism, naming him one of the biggest "Freaks" in college football. On the field, Baldwin averaged 16.9 yards per reception in 44 collegiate games, finding the end zone 15 times: 13 through the air and two on the ground. He finished his Baylor career with 99 receptions for 1,673 yards and 178 rushing yards on 19 attempts, averaging an impressive 9.4 yards per carry. Baldwin broke out as a sophomore with 33 receptions for 564 yards, four receiving touchdowns, and one rushing score. Known for his yards-after-catch ability, The Athletic's Bruce Feldman noted, 'He hit 22.8 MPH on the GPS on a touchdown, which was the fastest clocked in-game speed for a college player in 2022.' Last season, Baldwin posted his best yards per reception average at Baylor (17.7) and scored a career-high five touchdowns. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle lead Miami's wide receiver room with second-year player Malik Washington and free-agent signee Nick Westbrook-Ikhine currently penciled in as the third and fourth receivers heading into training camp. The fifth spot could become a hotly contested battle between Baldwin, a trio of other undrafted wideouts, and last year's seventh-round pick Tahj Washington, who spent all of 2024 on injured reserve. Baldwin also brings moderate kick-return experience from college and could factor into that phase during camp. His versatility, crisp route-running, and explosiveness, including a 4.32-second 40-yard dash, make him a player to watch closely this summer.
