Vivo X200 FE vs Realme GT 7: 8 things to know
The Vivo X200 FE was just recently launched in India. It will be seen competing with popular phones like Realme GT 7. Here are at least 8 things to know about these phones.
The Realme GT 7 features the newer MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chip built on a 3nm process. In comparison, the Vivo X200 FE runs on the slightly older Dimensity 9300+ processor, which is still powerful but not as advanced.
Realme GT 7 has a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 6,000nits and 360Hz touch sampling rate for better responsiveness. The Vivo X200 FE is more compact with a 6.31-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen, 5000nits peak brightness, and 300Hz sampling.
If you prefer a sleek and lightweight phone, the X200 FE is more suitable. It measures 7.99mm thick and weighs just 186 grams. The GT 7 is bulkier at 8.3mm thickness and 206 grams in weight.
Both phones offer triple rear camera setups, but with slight differences. The X200 FE uses Zeiss-branded lenses with a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
The GT 7 also offers a 50MP telephoto and 8MP ultra-wide, but its main sensor is the newer Sony IMX906, which captures better details in various lighting conditions.
Vivo clearly leads in the selfie department with a high-resolution 50MP front camera. Realme GT 7 includes a decent 32MP front sensor, but it doesn't quite match the sharpness of Vivo's offering.
The Realme GT 7 packs a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for ultra-fast 120W charging. In contrast, the Vivo X200 FE includes a 6,500mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging.
Vivo has the upper hand when it comes to protection, with IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings along with reinforced Gorilla Shield glass. Realme GT 7 is also IP69 rated but comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, which is slightly less durable on paper.
The Vivo X200 FE impresses with its compact size, Zeiss optics, and premium features. The Realme GT 7 stands out as a better value for money option. It offers newer hardware, bigger battery, and faster charging at a lower price.
The Vivo X200 FE is priced starting at Rs 54,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The Realme GT 7, on the other hand, starts at just Rs 39,999 for the 8GB+256GB version.
