Backstreet Boys' horrifying security scare after confronted by bloodied fans
Backstreet Boys are back and they are ready for a larger than life show in Las Vegas' The Sphere. The iconic group remains one of the biggest boybands in history with over 75 million album sales worldwide.
And with their pull undeniable, that number will only rise with the epic re-release of their hit album Millennium. As the newly produced Millennium 2.0 hits the shelves, and band member Brian Littrell has shared his love of the group's global fanbase.
However, he also admits it's not always plain sailing being so popular. Brian, who joined up with Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson and Howie Dorough to create the group, confessed they are sometimes met with scary fan moments
Despite loving the fact they have such loyal fans, singer Brian revealed a number of occasions have left him stunned. Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Brian said: "One of the craziest was when we were in Germany and we showed up to our dressing room.
"There's two girls sitting on the couch in our dressing room. I saw them, and I didn't say anything. So I just went into the bathroom and came back out.
"I asked AJ 'Hey, do you know who these two girls are in our dressing room?' And he was like,'No, I thought they were like, press or something like that'. We came to find out they were two passionate fans. They ripped their jeans, and had blood on their shirt.
"It was kind of crazy to find out they were fans. They broke into the venue and got into our dressing room somehow. And, yeah, it was pretty crazy."
Opening up on another occasion, Brian said a similar situation occurred in the UK. "Another one was when some fans made up fake press passes," he went on.
"They were backstage just walking around. I think it was in Manchester. And I was like, 'Who are these girls? Because we don't have press today'. We found out they were just chilling backstage, hanging out with us. We finally got them out of there."
And he admitted "the stories go on and on". Despite the incident, Brian says the band loves the UK and claims they "never disappoint". He also admitted fans in Blighty are very similar to those stateside.
"I find the UK and the US a lot alike," he said. "To pick a difference, you have to go down to South America. They are so passionate and so loving and also crazy in a good way. It's different down there.
"When you go to Japan, they're much more reserved. They wait until you're finished singing, and then they clap. It's cool, because it's just different cultures. We love the UK. I have English descent and Welsh descent and all that stuff. So, you know, the fans are great."
Speaking of why the band decided to re-release Millennium, Brian went on: "It's been 25 years. Well, it's actually 26 because it came out in '99. But this is a monumental moment. It was one of the biggest pop records in history around the world. And it's kind of the stamp of approval for us in the music business.
"It set the benchmark, I think, for every pop group to come after us to be like 'wow, we've got to do something like that'. So, yeah, it's monumental for us to re-release the album and to have new versions and they're even going to be even more fantastic."
And he added the decision to share that journey again also merged with their excitement to create history. "Why not share in that journey again, and build a show around it and be the first of our kind to do The Sphere?
"The Backstreet Boys are carrying the pop torch into The Sphere!"
The Backstreet Boys 'Into The Millennium' Sphere residency started July 11 with the album Millennium 2.0 also out now.

A royal source told the Mirror: "The King has consistently shown he loves both his sons and as he has done in the past is prepared to meet Harry when their diaries allow such an occasion. "It's not unusual for aides from different households to meet, especially when there is a new influx of staff starting their roles, but of course this is a significant moment. "Senior members of the family have in the past said to Harry that he must both stop his attacks on the family as well as giving endless rounds of broadcast interviews as his only way of communication. "If there is a period of calm and reflection on the part of the Duke of Sussex, then there may be a way forward for him to begin along the road of repairing his relationship with his father. The monarchy has spent years dealing with the aftermath of Harry and Meghan's decision to quit the Royal Family in 2002 after the two hit out at the Firm with public attacks and left their royal duties behind. Most recently, Harry did an interview with the BBC in May and said he "would love a reconciliation" with his family but confessed that the King "won't speak to me because of this security stuff". Harry was referring to the removal of his police security detail in the UK which he branded an "old-fashioned establishment stitch-up" as he hinted that his father could have resolved the situation. In the bombshell interview, the duke even said: "I would like to get my father and brother back." However, Harry's 2023 memoir Spare was said to be the final straw for the Prince of Wales as it made many shocking accusations against not just William but also his wife Kate and the rest of the senior members of the Firm.

But Vogue certainly gives as good as she gets, with the Dublin native having her fair share of jabs at Spencer. Recently, she said she initially thought the business owner was a "sociopath" when she first met him. In a recent interview with the Sun, Vogue revealed that she already didn't like Spencer before she met him. The mother-of-three confessed: "I kind of met him with a preconceived idea, and I was like, 'I'm not going to like him' because I thought he was a sociopath." Vogue soon changed her mind, adding: "But after I met him, I loved his personality straight away . . . he was so sound, but I was being really good at being single and I wanted to stay single, so I thought, 'He's going to be a really good friend' — that's the first thing I thought."

Snoop Dogg investment in Welsh football club hinted at during side's kit launch
Snoop Dogg appeared in Swansea City's kit launch and the Championship side have hinted that the rapper could also buy a stake in the club, joining former Real Madrid star Luka Modric Swansea City have hinted that Snoop Dogg could invest in the club after the rapper helped launch their new home kit. Swansea unveiled their new kit by taking a jab at fellow Welsh club Wrexham, who are owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Wrexham launched their new kit earlier this week and Reynolds shared a snap of himself wearing the shirt while holding on Instagram. "Been waiting a year for this kit to make its debut – and it did not disappoint," the Deadpool actor wrote. "Available NOW in the Wrexham online store. Link in stories. Dog not included." And Swansea poked fun at Reynolds' post, sharing an image of Snoop Dogg in their new kit with the caption: "Dogg included @SnoopDogg Nuthin' But A Wales Thang, the Jacks are ready. We're the Pride of Wales." They also posted a video of Snoop Dogg saying: "Hail to Wales and to Swansea City. It's your boy big Snoop Dogg. Coming to a hood near you. Oh yeah, these are the new jerseys." And Swansea have now hinted that the rapper may even invest in the club, with a spokesperson saying: "We appreciate the considerable interest and enthusiasm generated by Snoop Dogg's appearance in a Swansea City shirt. "While we are not in a position to share specifics with you all just yet, we will be able to provide more details soon and we're excited about what's to come." Swansea are currently under the ownership of Andy Coleman, Brett Cravatt, Nigel Morris and Jason Cohen, who took majority control from Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan last November. Former Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is also a co-owner, having acquired a minority stake in the club back in April. "This is an exciting opportunity," the 2018 Ballon d'Or winner said at the time. "Swansea has a strong identity, an incredible fanbase and the ambition to compete at the highest level.
