Buzz Feed15-07-2025

Madelyn Cline I Know What You Did Last Summer Cast Trivia Game

We've returned to Southport this summer. The new I Know What You Did Last Summer has finally hit theaters with a new cast of up-and-coming actors. Like Scream (2022), I Know What You Did Last Summer is a legacy sequel that follows a new group of friends who start receiving mysterious notes a year after covering up a fatal car accident. Alongside a brand-new cast, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt reprise their roles from the original film, too. So, to celebrate the new film, we had the cast — Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Sarah Pidgeon, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, and Gabbriette Bechtel — compete in a friendly game of Cast Wars to see who knows who the absolute best. Broken up into two teams, things got personal right out of the gate when Chase, Tyriq, and Gabbriette named their team the Pogues, LOL. We tested their knowledge on some of their costars' earliest acting roles, like Madelyn in Stranger Things and Tyriq in Legacies. And, don't worry, The Wilds fans, we even tested their knowledge on Sarah's role as Leah in the beloved, but short-lived, series. Plus, we wanted to see how well they know the OG movie, so they couldn't escape trivia about it, like what color dress Helen Shivers (Sarah Michelle Gellar) wore. The whole thing was so hilariously chaotic, and it'll make you love these actors (and their competitive sides) even more. You can watch the full video below: And be sure to watch I Know What You Did Last Summer, which is in theaters now! Do you love all things TV and movies? Gen Z Is Being Weird About Answering The Phone, And Other Things The Internet Talked About This Week

Subscribe here and you'll get the web's best stuff in your inbox every week! BuzzFeed Welcome to Only Good Internet, where I give you a little bit of good internet content, as a treat. I want to talk to my fellow millennials for a bit, here (Gen X, you too). Because I came across this tweet this week: …That Gen Z answers the phone and doesn't say anything. Apparently, this is a thing: Zoomers will answer the phone and, instead of saying 'hello,' they'll wait there silently for the person calling to speak first. Now, as a millennial, my first thought was, 'What the f***?' But after reading some replies from Gen Z, it started to make more sense…a lot of them are concerned about spam calls (which, let's be honest, are like 90% of the calls we get these days) and how the bot on the other end is waiting for you to say 'hello' so that it knows there's a real person at this phone number, and it can therefore keep spam-calling you. There were also some concerns from Zoomers about AI stealing your voice with these calls and using it to scam your relatives. Obviously, the only way to fight back is to use a voice changer — you know, like in Scream — to answer your calls. Throw off the bots, terrify your friends, win-win. This is the cutest dang thing I've seen in a while: 'Sir, there's a situation on platform 2!' 'Don't tell me…' u/liberty4now / Via 'Yes, sir, it's a Level 5.' I always like to finish every week by leaving you with a little something that I can't get out of my head. This week, it's all about this thought:
