Emotional clip resurfaces of late Bryan Braman hyping up the Eagles before Super Bowl 2018 win after death at 38

Daily Mail17-07-2025
Footage of the late Bryan Braman hyping up his Philadelphia Eagles teammates ahead of their Super Bowl LII win has resurfaced on social media.
Braman, a former NFL defensive end who had stints with the Houston Texas, Eagles and New Orleans Saints, died on Thursday, at 38, after battling a rare form of cancer.
Tributes quickly flooded onto social media for the former Eagles star and, among them, one fan shared an old clip of Braman delivering a fiery pre-game speech.
In the clip, an energetic Braman shouts: 'Intestines, we'll turn them inside out. They're going to be hanging out next to the f***ing banner in the Linc.
'Let's go! I don't hear y'all! Let's go. Hey, I'm looking for a pink puff of smoke out the back of the next head that you all take off. Let's go. Eagles kill!'
Evidently, Braman's speech worked as the Eagles went on to defeat the New England Patriots 41-33 on the night. It was his final appearance in the NFL.
One of Braman's former teammates - Chris Long - previously addressed the passionate speech and admitted that the former defensive end was perfect for them.
'We had a guy named Bryan Braman, special teams guy, looks like he's in a biker gang, long hair,' Long told the Ryen Russillo podcast in 2020.
'Bryan Braman was an absolute psychopath and he was like our cameo speech guy. And sometimes he would just, real impromptu, start screaming and looking like a fucking hedgehog, knocking shit over in the locker room, eyes bulging out of his head.
'And, of course, he did look like a Sons of Anarchy dude so you were like, yeah, I'm listening. But Braman got going Super Bowl Sunday and I was like, 'Yeah, you got it, bro.'
Diagnosed in February, Braman's unspecified condition was later revealed in a GoFundMe drive aimed at covering his medical expenses. His former Texans teammate, JJ Watt, personally donated $10,000, while others such as Emmanuel Acho spread the word on social media.
A June 20 update by organizer William Jones explained that 'Bryan is home with his family after undergoing a Car-t cell reprogramming treatment program in Seattle.'
Initially the Car-t cell reprogramming appeared successful and his cells started 'reproducing within his bone marrow,' according to Jones. But while the mass began shrinking, the 'cancer started fighting back,' Jones explained.
'Bryan has not given up,' Jones wrote. 'He is looking into other trial treatment programs, and is determined to never give up.'

The GoFundMe campaign raised nearly $90,000 for Braman.
'At Stellato Sports, Bryan Braman has always stood for strength, resilience and leadership,' Stellato told KPRC 2 in Houston prior to his death. 'He is a pillar and a staple of the underdog.'
Although he went undrafted out of Idaho in 2011, Braman developed a bit of a cult following as a special teams contributor in Houston, blocking several punts, including one for a touchdown. He was named as a Pro Bowl alternate in 2012.
Braman moved on to Philadelphia in 2014 and New Orleans in 2017, but suffered an injury and was placed on injured reserve before being released.
That proved fortuitous for Braman, who signed with the Eagles in December before blocking a punt from the Atlanta Falcons' Matt Bosher in a 15-10 divisional-round playoff win.

Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson gets 4-year, $52M extension

July 27 - The Dallas Cowboys signed Jake Ferguson to a four-year, $52 million contract extension on Sunday, making him the highest-paid tight end in franchise history. The deal includes $30 million guaranteed for Ferguson, who was due to earn $3.4 million in the final year of his rookie contract in 2025. Ferguson, 26, caught 59 passes for 494 yards with no touchdowns in 14 games (all starts) for the Cowboys last season. The 2022 fourth-round draft pick made the Pro Bowl in 2023 and has 149 receptions for 1,429 yards and seven TDs in 47 career games (38 starts). According to the Cowboys, Ferguson becomes the seventh-highest paid tight end in the NFL and the extension also frees up $1.8 million toward the team's 2025 salary cap. Although Dallas has locked up a key piece of its offense, All-Pro pass-rusher Micah Parsons still is waiting for his payday as the team prepares for its Sept. 4 season opener at defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia. The announcement about Ferguson's deal on the team's website said Cowboys co-owner and COO Stephen Jones considers the training camp site in Oxnard, Calif., a "friendly ground for getting contracts one, so Dallas may not be done just yet." --Field Level Media

Paris Jackson sparks concern as she appears to cry during solo stroll weeks after anniversary of dad Michael's death

Michael Jackson 's daughter Paris Jackson sparked concern on Wednesday while taking a walk in Malibu. The 27-year-old model and musician became visibly emotional and appeared to burst into tears during her solo stroll. The outing comes at a difficult time for Paris, just weeks after the 16th anniversary of her famous father's death and following fan backlash over her scheduled performance that day. Dressed for the sunny weather, Paris wore a brown short-sleeve shirt, grey biking shorts, and a pair of chunky sneakers with grey socks. She also accessorized with a number of bracelets and necklaces. Her platinum blonde tresses were pulled into a messy ponytail. Last month Paris also seemed to be showing the strain when she was spotted on a tense outing with her fiancé Justin Long, 46, in Malibu. Paris' iconic father Michael died on June 25, 2009 at age 50 from acute Propofol intoxication, which caused the singer to go into cardiac arrest. Last month the daughter of Debbie Rowe fired back at her fans via Instagram Stories, after they criticized her for having a performance on the day of his death anniversary. According to an account from People, Paris said to her five million followers, 'So people are mad again. I guess one of the dates I'm supposed to be going out on tour (with Incubus and Manchester Orchestra) happens to be June 25, which is a very negative anniversary for me in my life and my family.' She continued in the video post, 'So, what I guess I have to explain to these people is that when you're not headlining these shows, you don't pick what date you perform.' The blonde music artist also underscored that she is not getting lavish accommodations as an opening act. 'It's just me and my acoustic guitar and my sound guy, who happens to be my fiancé,' she said in reference to her husband-to-be, Justin. 'So we're gonna be in a soccer mom van.' Paris noted that she volunteered to be part of the tour and wouldn't step down over the date. 'So, I'm gonna tell 'em, "Sorry, guys, we can't perform on this date?"' she posited, facetiously, adding, 'F*** you.' The songstress also reposted, via Instagram Stories, what appeared to be a comment or caption from a fan account. It read in part, 'Note to admins: It is unacceptable to judge someone else's pain and grief based on information from the internet. 'Judging Paris' respect for her father from an outside perspective is unfair. June 25 may intensify our pain as fans, but she lives with the loss of her father daily.' Paris added a simple response: 'thx fam.' In March it was announced by Incubus that Jackson and Manchester Orchestra would be hitting the road with them for their Morning View + The Hits tour throughout the US and UK. On June 25 - the 16th anniversary of Michael's death - the tour was in Nashville, Tennessee. Michael had three children including Paris with his second wife Debbie, including Prince, 28, and Bigi, 23. Ahead of the anniversary last month Paris was also seen tearing up before her fiancé Justin tried to comfort her with an embrace. Earlier this month she posed topless in a racy Instagram snap alongside Justin in California. Paris looked relaxed as she enjoyed the sunshine and a dip in the water with the producer. In another snap, she smiled for a selfie with her partner, who she got engaged to in December after two years of dating. She captioned one of the stories 'home sweet California', in reference to growing up in the state on her late father's Neverland ranch. Paris and Justin met in 2022 and their relationship was professional before it was romantic. 'Happy birthday my sweet blue,' she wrote in a birthday tribute announcing their engagement last December. She added, 'Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind, and I couldn't dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.' According to his LinkedIn Justin attended college in Indiana at Grace College & Seminary, where he graduated in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in marketing and business administration. He transitioned to music full-time in 2013 and has worked with artists including Grace Potter, The Wombats and Sleater-Kinney.
