Jake Paul
had a disciplined and strategic performance to beat former WBC middleweight titleholder Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by unanimous decision at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
Jake Paul now stands at 12-1 with 7 knockouts as a professional boxer. He led the opening rounds with his aggressive jabs and body punching, leading to a decisive points victory on Saturday night.
Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. results
Jake Paul set the tone from the first bell. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., with his rich experience and heritage, could not match Jake Paul's activity, even tallying no landed punches in the first round by CompuBox records. The last three scorecards of 97-93, 99-91, and 98-92 showed Paul's dominance throughout the initial eight rounds.
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. protested that Jake Paul's body shots strayed low, but referee Gerard White saw no crimes worthy of penalty. While Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. did have moments—most notably rounds nine and ten, his forays of offense were too sporadic to affect the judges. Paul, despite being fatigued late, absorbed Chavez's counters and would not yield to win the bout.
"It was flawless," Paul said. "I think I only got hit 10 times.

He just survived and thought I did great. Going 10 rounds against a former world champion who's never been stopped. He's in there with Canelo, all of these guys, and I embarrassed him like that."

With the victory, Paul demonstrated significant improvement, particularly in close-range battles where he was able to add a right uppercut to his repertoire. This is one of Paul's most comprehensive efforts against a seasoned opponent with over 60 pro fights to his credit.
"He's a tough guy," Paul said. "He's never been stopped and he's a Mexican warrior. I respect Mexican warriors. I respect Mexico, but I'm also a warrior and I came out on top tonight."
Jake Paul targets Gilberto Ramirez, Badou Jack, and others
Not satisfied to simply enjoy his triumph, Jake Paul had no hesitation in specifying prospective combat goals. He identified reigning cruiserweight titleholders Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez and Badou Jack as main objectives, with an implication of distant plans against Anthony Joshua and Gervonta "Tank" Davis—a lofty wish list that confirms Paul's aspiration to be seriously aggressive in the sport.
"I want tougher fighters and I want to be a world champion," Paul said. "'Zurdo' [Ramirez] looked slow tonight. That's easy work. I want Badou Jack. Tommy Fury can get it too. Stop running from me, Tommy."
In the meantime, Gilberto Ramirez (48-1, 30 KOs) successfully defended his WBA and WBO cruiserweight championships in the co-feature with a defensive masterclass against Yuniel Dorticos. Ramirez was outworked in the early going by Dorticos (27-3, 25 KOs) but adjusted in the second half to win by unanimous decision.
The Mexican sensation now moves toward what could be the defining fight of the cruiserweight era: a unification showdown against IBF titleholder Jai Opetaia.
Promoter Oscar De La Hoya, however, hinted at alternative plans involving WBC light heavyweight champion David Benavidez.

Are Sabrina Carpenter and Oregon QB Luke Moga dating? Viral burger date fuels speculation

Sabrina Carpenter and Oregon quarterback Luke Moga sparked dating rumors (Images via Getty Images & IG) College football just collided with pop stardom—and it's not because of a touchdown. Sabrina Carpenter , the chart-topping singer currently dominating headlines for her bold performances and empowering messages, is now at the center of a budding dating rumor with Oregon quarterback Luke Moga. The pair were recently spotted sharing a casual meal in Eugene, Oregon, and it didn't take long for the photo to explode across social media. Pop star meets rising QB: Viral burger outing fuels unlikely romance buzz The unexpected pairing— Sabrina Carpenter in her pink pop prime and Luke Moga, a redshirt freshman who has yet to take a college snap—has sent fans into a frenzy. While neither party has confirmed anything romantic, the internet is doing what it does best: fueling the speculation with memes, jokes, and full-blown shipping. And it wasn't just fans who chimed in. Cleveland Browns rookie Dillon Gabriel, who previously played at Oregon, threw fuel on the fire with a playful Instagram story after the viral burger date. Sharing the image, he wrote: 'Hard launch bro! Happy for you guys.' The cheeky remark instantly sparked even more buzz, with Ducks fans declaring Moga 'QB1'—not just on the field, but in the dating game too. Gabriel's comment may have been in jest, but it amplified the attention Moga is receiving both as a potential starter and as a rising social media personality. For a quarterback who hasn't even made his collegiate debut, being linked to Sabrina Carpenter is the kind of PR that can elevate a brand overnight. Moga is far from just a viral sensation. The dual-threat quarterback threw for nearly 1,900 yards and 23 touchdowns in his senior year of high school, while rushing for over 650 yards and 12 touchdowns. Oregon head coach Dan Lanning has praised the depth in his quarterback room, and now with Moga gaining national attention, that spotlight only intensifies. Also Read: Why Taylor Swift's love life feels louder with Travis Kelce than it ever did with Joe Alwyn Whether it's a real romance or a media-driven moment, one thing is clear: Luke Moga is suddenly a name fans—and maybe even rivals—won't forget. And if Dillon Gabriel's lighthearted jab is any indication, this is just the beginning of Moga's headline era. Game On Season 1 continues with Mirabai Chanu's inspiring story. Watch Episode 2 here.

Kate Middleton reveals awkward run-in between her dad and Tim Henman at Wimbledon

Wimbledon is one of Kate Middleton's favourite summer events. She's attended the Grand Slam for years. But during one of her earlier visits, she had a moment she still laughs and cringes about. Kate, now 43, spoke about it in a 2017 BBC documentary, Our Wimbledon. It was a funny memory involving her dad, tennis legend Tim Henman, and a small but awkward mix-up. 'My father is not going to appreciate this,' she said in the interview. 'But we were walking past Tim Henman and we had just seen Pete Sampras play.'
