Are you a fan of old-school NES games? Then this news is for you. 3dSen is a new NES emulator available for PC that lets you relive those games in 3D. Right now, there are more than 100 retro games to choose from, and there is a VR version too. It took more than 10 years of development to bring this concept to reality. The developer, Tran Vu Truc, had to reconstruct the NES games into 3D because he had to map every element in 3D space. All that was done to bring this unique and polished experience to each of the titles. Now, imagine doing this for every game supported by this emulator.
Rather than applying a generic 3D filter to the games, 3dSen relies on custom profiles which define how each element is transformed. These custom profiles are crafted to ensure that every movement in the games feels natural and seamless, just like in the original game.
At launch, there were about 70 games, which increased to more than 100 titles, including some of the most popular classics like Super Mario Bros., Contra, The Legend of Zelda, and Mega Man. Key features of 3dSen A complete 3D transformation of classic NES games, giving players a fresh perspective and experience.
To add immersion, real-time lighting has been implemented with reworked shadows and animated skyboxes.
The game is not only set in a 3D world, but users can customize the camera angle to view and play games from different angles every time.
Generic emulator features are also available, like save states, rewind, and fast forward.
A VR version called 3dSen VR is also available apart from the regular version for standard monitors. You need to pay a little more than the standard version to experience the NES games in virtual reality. A new way to experience old school classics

Want to turn off AI in Windows? Here's how to disable Copilot features
Microsoft has been pushing AI technology into its products. From Copilot being pre-installed in Windows PCs, to AI in programs like Notepad and Print, the AI overload can become overwhelming. However, Microsoft has given the option to disable these features from your system. Note: Steps mentioned apply only to Microsoft's Copilot+ PCs, and systems running on Windows 11. While the steps might not function the same way on PCs with different specifications, they should be largely similar. Copilot is Microsoft's AI chatbot, introduced by the company in February 2023. While initially it was rolled out in a phased manner, Copilot is now pre-installed on select Windows PCs, and even has a dedicated toolbar button. However, it is possible to remove Copilot from your system. To remove Copilot from your taskbar, you need to right click on the Copilot icon and click on 'unpin from taskbar' option. For further settings, you can click on your Microsoft icon at the bottom left of the screen, then click on 'Settings'. After accessing the Copilot Settings page, there will be more options. For instance, you can turn off the option of 'Auto start on log in' by clicking on the toggle switch. This means that Copilot will not start up the moment you switch on your PC. Similarly, you can also switch off the 'Open Copilot using Alt+Spacebar' shortcut. If you think Copilot does not add value to your system, you can uninstall it completely. Here's how to do this: 📌 Open the settings panel 📌 Click on apps, then installed apps 📌 Navigate to Copilot 📌 Click the three dots next to it 📌 Choose the 'uninstall' option If Microsoft Edge is your browser of choice, you may have seen the AI overload all over it. While the easiest option to avoid this is by switching browsers, there is also a way to limit the AI on Edge itself. 📌 After opening Edge, click on the three dots in the top right corner 📌 Click on the 'settings' option 📌 Switch to the 'Copilot and sidebar' screen via the links on the left of the screen 📌 Click on Copilot 📌 There, turn off the 'Show Copilot button on the toolbar' switch This will hide the Copilot icon from Edge entirely. Even basic Windows programs have AI added to them, such as Notepad and Paint. These aim to help with text or image creation, but can prove to be a hindrance. To remove Copilot from Notepad, simply click on the cogwheel icon (top-right), and turn off the Copilot toggle switch. However, till date, there is no way to uninstall or disable Copilot from Paint, even if the main app is uninstalled. However, users were initially able to remove Copilot from Paint, so there is a chance that this option will return. Nvidia vs Microsoft: Which AI heavyweight will hit $4 trillion first?
The race to become the first $4 trillion company is on. Artificial-intelligence heavyweights Microsoft and Nvidia continue to battle to be the world's most valuable company by market capitalization, after surpassing the $3 trillion milestone last year. Twice this month, Microsoft unseated Nvidia as the most valuable company, but Nvidia regained its title Wednesday. On Thursday, its shares clinched a four-day winning streak and record close of $155.02. That put Nvidia's market value at $3.782 trillion, ahead of Microsoft's $3.697 trillion. Now, it's just a matter of who gets to $4 trillion first. Wedbush analysts say we will find out soon enough. 'We believe both Nvidia and Microsoft will hit the $4 trillion market cap club this summer and then over the next 18 months the focus will be on the $5 trillion club," the analysts wrote in a research note Friday. They characterize Nvidia and Microsoft as the so-called poster children of the AI revolution, which they say 'represents the biggest tech transformation in over 40 years." After all, Nvidia's momentous ascent has been the stuff of dreams for AI fans. Interest in AI reached new heights when ChatGPT launched in late 2022, and Nvidia's powerful graphics processing units emerged as a solution to power the technology. Today, Nvidia is widely regarded as the chip maker of choice for hyperscalers, Microsoft included. Nvidia stands at the forefront, 'as they are the only game in town with their chips the new gold and oil." The company's dominance allows CEO Jensen Huang to have 'the best perch and vantage point to discuss overall enterprise AI demand," the analysts contended. Microsoft's AI story has been equally compelling for bulls. The company once known for the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office suite has rebranded itself into an AI enterprise—if the language in its latest earnings report is any indication. Azure, Microsoft's flagship cloud computing platform, offers a suite of tools that allow developers to build and deploy AI applications. Its footing in the cloud computing space, alongside other hyperscalers like Alphabet, is a key advantage: The need for cloud compute is only expected to grow as the adoption of AI, a power-intensive technology, ramps up. As more AI use cases are identified, the Wedbush team expects Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform to 'acquire AI-capable chips, build AI-capable service offerings, and sell those services into their respective installed bases." Nvidia stock rose 1.3% to $157.11 on Friday. Wedbush maintains an Outperform rating and $175 price target on the shares. Microsoft was flat at $497.67. The firm rates Microsoft at Outperform with a $600 target price. Wedbush Fund Advisers launched the Dan IVES Wedbush AI Revolution ETF earlier this month, which includes Microsoft, Nvidia, and the other Magnificent Seven tech stocks.

PEAK future roadmap explored

This title is so simple, but still is jam-packed with great gameplay. PEAK is actually a mountain climbing simulator, which can be played solo or in a squad. A unique feature of this game is that each in-game day features a brand new map across four unique biomes. Players are stranded on a mysterious island, where they need to find their way out scaling mountains by scavenging food and equipping climbing gears. All over, fans have liked this game very much, and that is why we might see new updates of this game very soon. In a post on Steam, both the developing companies of Peak, Aggro Crab and Landfall thanked the fans for this unwavering support from the fans. In this post, the developers also confirmed that there will be future updates for this game, although they are in the 'very early stages.' As of now Peak has received a number of updates, but all of them were stability and bug fixing patches, so no substantial upgrades or new contents have been implemented so far. However, the game isn't free from all the bugs yet as it is still facing disconnection glitches, optimization issues, crashes, etc. So more small patches are expected to be on the way. In the FAQ section from Landfall's official website, the developers stated that they didn't have any plans for future PEAK updates at that point as both Aggro Crab and Landfall have other projects ahead of them. However, the promising words from the developers via the Steam post seal that there will certainly be major updates in the future, like major content addition or quality of life upgrades. The developer team also confirmed that localization would be coming soon as well, that means the game will support more regional languages, specific UI adjustments and many more. These decisions at least make it sure that the road of PEAK is not ending here, and the developers are definitely having a thought about its future. Actually the developers themselves never thought that a small game like PEAK which costs just $8 would burst into the scene so wildly. The game sold more than two million copies world-wide in just nine days of its release. So, developers have realized that the fans are definitely in for the next stage of PEAK.
