THE RUNDOWN On Tuesday, July 1, Emma Watson was seen in an Oxford park sitting beside a rumored new love interest on what looked like a 'cute date,' according to onlookers speaking with the Daily Mail. It was an idyllic scene at Port Meadow country park and the pair sat by the side of a lake, working on small paintings. Watson was wearing a green summer dress with a floral white print and scalloped short sleeves. Her companion wore khaki shorts and a white T-shirt with a graphic blue-and-white flower print on the back. They both had sunglasses up on their heads and had bags with snacks and water surrounding them. A local student named Judie told the publication, 'I saw them for like 40 minutes. They were having a general chat and making each other laugh, which was cute,' adding, 'They were painting each other and eating together. It was just a really cute date. It looked successful as they were laughing a lot, which was nice to see.' Watson was most recently linked to Oxford student Kieran Brown in 2024, a year after splitting up from her previous boyfriend, Brandon Green. Watson most likely met Brown during her studies at Oxford, where she has been working part-time on a Master's degree. Green is the son of business mogul Sir Philip, and they broke up in 2023. There has been no report on the end of Watson's relationship with Brown, however. The Harry Potter star has been taking a hiatus from acting as she pursues her studies and takes on roles behind the camera, as a director. In 2023, she told British Vogue, 'Going into my 30s, I was in this moment of real change and [thinking] 'What is going on?' And it was someone else who said to me, 'Oh, this is normal. You're going through your Saturn return.' [I was] like, 'What is that and why has no one warned me?!' I've spoken to so many women and so many of my friends who said, 'Oh, yeah, between 28 and, like, 30, 31, 32, that kind of age, everything shifted.' ' She continued, 'Because I'm in a career that moves very quickly, the decision to take time to do these things felt like a very big decision. [Choosing] to go back and write and study and get behind the camera was terrifying for me because I'd never done it before. I had always been in front of the camera; I'd always been an actor.' Watson added, 'I'm just so glad that I did [step away from acting] because I have this feeling of having my own voice and creative space and sovereignty in some way that I don't think I did before–more autonomy.'

Rihanna Shares Pic of Sons RZA and Riot Being ‘So Over Her' on Family Road Trip
THE RUNDOWN On Thursday, Rihanna shared rare photos of her two sons, RZA and Riot Rose, from a recent road trip. The two boys are seated in the back of a car in their car seats, the older brother with his head buried in a French children's book, the youngest wearing white-and-yellow overalls and a white T-shirt with a white pacifier in his mouth. In the last picture, he pulls down the hood of his car seat to hide his face from his mother. In the caption, the Fenty Beauty founder hilariously wrote, 'they so over me on this lil road trip.' Last Friday, Rihanna supported her partner, A$AP Rocky, at his AWGE fashion show during Paris Men's Fashion Week and she was joined by Riot Rose in the front row. It's unclear from the Instagram pics if the family is still road tripping in France, but they have definitely been traveling. Earlier that same day, the couple were seen at the Dior menswear collection show. Rihanna wore an embroidered cape-style coat over a mint green vest and button-down, while the rapper wore a brightly striped Dior tie. After the Fashion Week events, the couple headed to Belgium, where they attended the premiere of The Smurfs. Rihanna is voicing the character of Smurfette, and she wore a custom Chanel ensemble in baby blue on the red carpet. The two-piece look featured a long skirt decorated with beading and feathers along the hem and a top with a sheer piece of fabric revealing the singer's torso. Rocky and Rihanna are expecting their third child, which they confirmed at the Met Gala in May. Rihanna told Entertainment Tonight at the time, 'I'm good. I'm shockingly feeling OK and not too overwhelmed at the moment. I mean, at first it was kinda like, 'Ah!' And I'm tired, but then I'm excited.'

Sean 'Diddy' Combs Denied Release on Bail After Mogul Was Acquitted of Most Serious Charges
On Wednesday, the New York judge overseeing Sean 'Diddy' Combs' federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial ruled that Combs would not be released on bail while awaiting sentencing after he was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The decision to keep the fallen hip-hop mogul locked up in a Brooklyn federal prison comes after a surprise split verdict announced Wednesday that saw the rapper and mogul convicted of the lesser two of five charges in a federal indictment that brought one of the most sensational trials in years to a lower Manhattan courthouse. After the verdict was read Wednesday, Combs' lead defense attorney told the court Combs should be freed today, given that he was no longer under indictment for the major crimes the government said he committed. Prosecutors cried foul on this, arguing he was a flight risk and meddler, even while in the Brooklyn lockup he's called home for about a year. Both sides were instructed to write letters to the judge making their case for bail by 1 p.m. ET today. Prosecutors also stated that they would pursue an aggressive sentencing that could put Combs away for two decades. Judge Subramanian cited Combs' history of violence as a main reason for denying him bail. As prosecutors undoubtedly showed during his trial, he has a decades-long propensity for violence, particularly toward women, which takes place in private. The video footage of Combs beating Cassie Ventura, which was shown at least a dozen times in court, certainly displays this, and Combs subjected his girlfriend 'Jane' to a violent attack as recently as 2024, the court heard over the past few weeks. When this occurred, Combs had already been indicted and had his homes raided by authorities. All sides in the case were told by the judge to return to court on Oct. 3 for sentencing; that date could move up if the defense team and Combs seek to expedite his sentencing process. The defense is seeking a term of 21 to 27 months for Combs while the feds hope for 51 to 63 months. Combs will get credit for the time served.
