Zac Sapsford leaves Western Sydney Wanderers to join Dundee United
Sapsford has signed a three-year deal with the Tangerines for an undisclosed transfer fee.
The 22-year-old attacking weapon scored nine goals in 26 A-League appearances for the Wanderers last season, and was part of impressive forward line that also included Johnny Warren Medal winner Milanovic, who joined Aberdeen last month for a deal that landed Western Sydney a club-record transfer off about $800,000.
Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin said the acquisition of Sapsford was a 'terrific piece of business' for the Tangerines.
'He's a dynamic forward with a killer instinct in the final third off both feet or with his head, and also has the awareness to intelligently bring his teammates into play,' Goodwin said.
'We feel he's someone that will get our supporters out of their seats and we can rely on in big moments given his mentality and track record in those situations.
'Zac immediately bought into our vision for him and his development. I'm looking forward to closely monitoring his progression during his time in tangerine.'
Meanwhile, teenage Sydney FC midfielder Wataru Kamijo has signed a new four-year deal with the Sky Blues.
'This club has given me my opportunity and I feel like I'm in the right place to grow and develop into a first-class midfielder,' Kamijo said.

The Scottie Scheffler fart-gate took a brand new twist. On the 17th hole at the British Open last Thursday, when Scheffler was chipping to the green, the broadcast feed picked up someone passing gas. Scheffler finished Thursday 3-under par and continued to ride high into the weekend before he ran away with the British Open crown, his first time winning that major. The chasing group behind him never got within four strokes on the final day. Scheffler, before winning the event, was the world No. 1 golfer and the betting favourite to win the Claret Jug. 'It is a pretty special feeling,' Scheffler said after winning. 'It was a tough week; I battled hard all weekend. Today, once again, was a battle, but [I] played some really good golf. I'm fortunate to be standing here holding the trophy.' The British Open now gives Scheffler the third of the four major trophies in golf, as he needs the U.S. Open to complete the career grand slam.

A-League: Brisbane Roar signs Englishman Chris Long
Brisbane Roar's attacking ranks have been further boosted with the signing of English striker Chris Long. Long, 30, has spent the past four seasons at English lower league club Crewe Alexandra. A product of English Premier League outfit Everton's academy, Long also had playing stints with a host of other UK clubs, including MK Dons, Brentford, Burnley, Fleetwood Town, Bolton, Northampton, Blackpool, and Motherwell. Kosta Barbarouses happy with move to Western Sydney
New Western Sydney signing Kosta Barbarouses says there are 'promising signs' for the Wanderers after a successful start to their 2025-26 campaign. Despite a limited preparation, the Wanderers were far too good for NPL Queensland outfit Peninsula Power in Tuesday night's Australia Cup battle at AJ Kelly Park, winning 3-0 to progress to the competition's round-of-16. Veteran attacker Barbarouses scored in his Wanderers debut after joining the club in the off-season from Wellington Phoenix.
