Aditya Gadhvi rocked Mumbai with a sold-out concert at NESCO, blending Gujarati folk and modern beats. A second show was added due to massive fan demand.
Gujarat's folk music powerhouse, Aditya Gadhvi, brought Mumbai to its feet with a sold-out, high-octane concert at NESCO, Goregaon, on Saturday, June 14. The show, part of his much-anticipated Live In Concert tour, was such a roaring success that organizers added a second show on Sunday, June 15, to meet overwhelming fan demand.
Produced and promoted by TribeVibe Entertainment, a BookMyShow Enterprise, the concert celebrated the soul of Gujarati folk music infused with modern sonic elements. The event drew more than 12,000 fans, with tickets for the first show selling out within 48 hours of launch in April — a testament to Gadhvi's rising national fame and the enduring love for regional music traditions.

Kicking off the evening with the deeply evocative 'Sapna Vinani Raat', Gadhvi instantly set the tone for an immersive musical journey. The momentum only grew with the thunderous beats of 'Vitthal Vitthal', 'Shivaji Nu Halardu', and 'Naagar Nandji Na Laal', transforming the entire venue into a pulsating Garba dance floor. Enhanced by snow bubbles, flames, synchronized Xylobands, and vivid stage visuals, the atmosphere turned electric.
When the opening notes of 'Khalasi', the breakout folk anthem, hit the air, the crowd erupted in unison, chanting every lyric in celebration. The show reached its emotional high point with performances of 'Laadki', 'Rang Bhini', and 'Mahahetvali', leaving the audience in rapturous awe. Among the thousands cheering was Darshan Raval, Gadhvi's friend and fellow singer-songwriter, spotted singing along with the crowd.
Shoven Shah, Founder & CEO of TribeVibe Entertainment, reflected on the concert's success, 'Mumbai's incredible response to Aditya Gadhvi's folk fusion spectacle reinforces what we've always believed — when exceptional artists meet passionate audiences, something magical happens. At TribeVibe, our mission is to bring live, unforgettable musical experiences to fans across India."
Echoing that sentiment, Aditya Gadhvi shared, 'It was an absolute pleasure to perform in front of the vibrant Mumbai audience this weekend. I'm deeply grateful for the immense love and support this city always shows me. I promise I'll be back soon!"

'Went From Village To Village': Gujarati Singer's Family's Scooter Memorial

Ahmedabad: In an extraordinary display of attachment to a vehicle, popular Gujarati singer Jignesh Kaviraj's family has decided to build a memorial for an old scooter. The singer shared on Instagram a photograph of his father, Hasmukh Barot, and the scooter, recounting the two-wheeler's role in his journey to fame and success. "This is my father's scooter, on which he and I used to go from village to village for programmes in the early days of my career. We have given this scooter a memorial in front of our house," he said in a post in Gujarati. The memorial for the scooter has come up near the singer's ancestral house at Kheralu village in Gujarat's Mehsana district. Visuals shared by the family showed them performing a puja for the Bajaj Super scooter, a must-have for middle-class homes in the 80s and 90s. In pre-liberalisation India, owning a car was a distant dream for most middle-class families. The two-stroke scooter, therefore, was a prized possession for most homes. With time, as salaries rose and faster and more fuel-efficient motorcycles dominated the two-wheeler market, these scooters lost the race. Bajaj Super was discontinued in 2006. The Barot family's scooter is now in a state of disrepair. Hasmukh Barot is seen putting a tika on the two-wheeler, a garland around its handlebars and then wrapping a shawl around it, in a surprising, but heartening show of affection for the vehicle that witnessed the family's journey. An emotional Hasmukh Barot said the scooter is a part of his family and they could not bring themselves to sell it as scrap. "This scooter was my life, so I built a memorial for it. I will tell my children that this scooter brought joy to our lives. They must light lamps before this memorial during Diwali. When parents grow old, it is not right to send them away to an old-age home. In the same way, this scooter, which has served me for life, I could not bring myself to sell it as scrap," Mr Barot said.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah star Dilip Joshi lost 16 kg in 45 days, without gym or diet; here's what he did

Actor Dilip Joshi, best known for his role as Jethalal in the popular comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is making headlines for his impressive weight loss transformation. Reportedly, he shed around 16 kilos in just 45 days. While that might seem normal, what makes his journey remarkable is that he achieved it without hitting the gym or following a strict diet. Reportedly, it was just one simple lifestyle change that helped him lose weight. Recently, Dilip was snapped out and about in Mumbai at an event. Talking to the paparazzi, he was asked about the secret behind his weight loss. Spilling the beans, he laughed and reacted to the buzz around it on social media. Dilip told the media, 'Areey, 1992 mein kiya tha bhai, abhi pata nahi kissi ne social media pe chala diya yaar (Oh, it was in 1992, brother. I'm not sure who posted it on social media now)." After this, the paparazzi told Dilip about his viral transformation pictures doing the rounds on social media. To this, Dilip smiled and thanked them before walking away. Previously, the actor opened up about his weight loss journey during an interview with Mashable India. He revealed that he lost 16 kgs just by regularly running for one and a half months. It happened in the 1990s when Dilip was preparing for his role in the Gujarati film Hun Hunshi Hunshilal. He said he would run every day after working in the office. 'I used to change at the swimming club and jog down Marine Drive to the Oberoi Hotel, even in the rain, and back. The entire run would take about 45 minutes," he shared. Meanwhile, on the work front, Dilip Joshi has starred in several Hindi films, such as Hum Aapke Hain Koun!, Maine Pyaar Kiya, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, One 2 Ka 4, Khiladi 420, Dil Hai Tumhaara and Dhoondte Reh Jaoge, to name only a few. The actor has been a part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah since its premiere in 2008. He continues to be a part of the show which recently returned.
