Emergency crews raced to B742 south of Dalrymple near Maybole in Ayrshire at around 12.50am on Monday, April 21 after receiving reports of an incident involving a black BMW one series car. ‘Killer who shot dead American Idol exec & husband called 911 in home pretending to be them' 4 days before bodies found

It took four days for cops to find the bodies of Kaye and her songwriter husband Thomas Deluca, both 70, despite them directly speaking with 22-year-old suspect Raymond Boodarian. Just 40 minutes later, first responders got a second call from a man claiming to be a resident, and he told the operator that they didn't need help from police. At some point during the call, the dispatcher heard someone say "Please don't shoot me" and deployed officers, a search warrant affidavit filed by the Los Angeles Police Department says. According to Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman, the second call was placed by the suspect, who identified himself at some point in the conversation, he told reporters at a briefing on Monday. read more on this case PRODUCER'S CONCERNS American Idol exec 'feared for safety' at home before being found dead Jennifer Forkish, the LAPD communications director, said cops raced to the scene and that they deployed a police airship known as Air 16 to survey the property. However, first responders couldn't get into the property because the entrances were locked and no one, including the neighbor, was answering their calls, Forkish said. Officers in the helicopter also couldn't see any sign that a break-in had taken place, so they left the home. Hochman has not explained how or why Boodarian gave his full name. It wasn't until June 14 at around 2:30 pm that officers would find Kaye and Deluca's bodies during a wellness check. A friend of the couple said they hadn't heard from them in several days and gave cops a key card to get inside the wall surrounding their property. American Idol music supervisor Robin Kaye and husband Thomas Deluca both 'murdered inside LA home' When they came to the doors, cops saw signs that something was wrong and burst through a glass window to get inside. Kaye and Deluca were found dead with gunshot wounds to the head. Boodarian was arrested the following day. The suspect, who is from Encino and lived a 13 minute drive from the couple, was charged with battery and exhibiting a deadly weapon over a year before his latest arrest. However, he was deemed mentally incompetent, and the charges were dropped, court documents seen by KABC show. The suspect was also charged with brandishing a knife and making threats against his stepfather in 2023, as well as battery against his mother and sister in 2024. But those charges were also dismissed. Kaye and Deluca's home was broken into just weeks before they were attacked, and they had tried to crack down on security to prevent any other incidents, according to friends of the couple. Furious community members have begged for a crackdown on crime and opened up about disturbing red flags they saw in the suspect. One person living in the neighborhood said that Boodarian would "sit in front of my friend's house just staring and smiling," according to the New York Post. "He did that on multiple occasions, sometimes in his own house, just looking out the window and smiling." Boodarian has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree burglary, and he's being held without bail in a Los Angeles correctional facility. His next court appearance has been scheduled for August 20.

Tragic Rachel Booth's family share update on her three young sons amid fundraiser

A GoFundMe has been set up to support her children. Heartbroken loved ones of tragic Rachel Booth have set up a fundraiser to support her children after the tragic death of the missing mum-of-three was confirmed. ‌ The 38-year-old's body was recovered from a lake yesterday after police spent days searching for her, in a hunt which saw sniffer dogs and underwater divers deployed. ‌ Rachel was last seen by her family in the early hours of Saturday morning in the Barnton area of Northwich, with Cheshire Police leading the search to find her. ‌ The Mirror reports that, now, those close to her have set up a GoFundMe, "to honour her memory and ensure the future and safety of her remaining family". A tribute on the fundraising site says: "Rachel tragically leaves behind her loving husband, Carl, and their three beloved sons — Alfie, Archie, and Ronnie. In this time of deep sorrow, we are reaching out to ask for your support in helping her family. ‌ "Any funds will be placed into a trust fund for her three young boys. In addition, the family has expressed their wish to donate a portion of the proceeds to a charity close to their hearts — one that supports individuals and families affected by ADHD. "Your generosity, no matter how big or small, will make a lasting difference and is deeply appreciated. Thank you for helping us give Rachel the beautiful farewell she deserves and for supporting her family during this heartbreaking time." The GoFundMe, which has a £5,000 target, has raised £2,400 at the time of writing. Following her death, Rachel's family said they would "treasure" the mum forever and thanked police who worked to locate her after she went missing. ‌ Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! The statement read: "As a family we would also like to offer our sincere thanks and appreciation to all the services and business that supported Cheshire Police and their officers during the search for Rachel. "Rachel, who was known to us as Helena, was a cherished member of our family. She was a guiding light whose strengths love, and devotion touched us all. ‌ "Her kindness was constant and her presence a strength to everyone she knew, a loving mother, wife, daughter and sister who can never be replaced but always present in our hearts. "Her absence leaves a space, but her smiles are a memory we will treasure for ever." The 38-year-old vanished without a trace from the Barnton area of Cheshire on Saturday, July 19. ‌ Her last reported sighting was at Sandiway Garage on the A556 at 3.50am where she was captured on CCTV buying wine and milk following a 45-minute run. Petrol station worker Issac Carolan, 19, previously told The Sun what the mum had bought that morning. He said: "I spoke to my colleague who had served her on Saturday morning. She bought milk and wine and jogged from 45 minutes away." Issac added: "But it didn't seem weird, she didn't seem disturbed or flustered." Police yesterday confirmed a body had been found in a lake in Oakmere during the search for the mum. ‌ Formal identification has since been carried out and police are now supporting her family. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances, and a file is being prepared for the coroner. Cheshire Police said: "Rachel's family continue to be supported by specialist officers from Cheshire Police and they ask for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time." Rachel has been described as a "lovely" mum from Barnton in Cheshire. Barnton local Raj Kaur told The Sun she is a "a lovely clever lady" and "very active and very nice". A mum in the area added: "I knew her from the school and she was always pleasant - she has three boys at the school." You can donate to the GoFundMe by clicking here.

Sarah Pike, 51, admitted to being the owner in charge the dogs dangerously out of control that caused injury in December in Exwick playing fields in Exeter, Devon. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up She also faces two other charges on the same day of being the person in charge of dogs dangerously out of control. Exeter Magistrates' Court heard the prosecutor call the shocking scenes a "pack attack", adding that the woman suffered multiple bite wounds to her hands and fingers in the horrific mauling. The victim needed plastic surgery, they added. The three dogs - called Zac, Storm and Nala - were seized by police at the time and two other dogs were euthanized following the attack on "other dogs and humans." Ms Pike was told she faces up to six months in custody when she is sentenced in September. And District Judge Angela Brereton said an expert report will be prepared about the temperament of the dogs as a destruction order may be made against them. 31,920 dog attacks were recorded by police forces across the UK last year, up 56 per cent compared to five years prior.
