CTV News18-06-2025
A Guelph man was arrested after police say he charged at a person in a vehicle while holding a baseball bat last week.
Guelph Police said a Milton man was standing outside a business on Speedvale Avenue West around 11:20 p.m., before he noticed another man who he didn't know was standing near his home and had begun to stare at him. Police said the man then entered his residence, while the victim got into his car. The man then came out of his home with a baseball bat, before police said he raised it above his head and charged at the victim's car.
Police said the victim was able to drive away without his vehicle or him getting hit with the bat.
On Tuesday morning, police arrested a 27-year-old Guelph man for assault with a weapon.
