Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni 'come face-to-face' for first time since feud
The tense reunion took place inside a law office in Manhattan for Lively's deposition as part of her case against Baldoni, following drama during the filming of It Ends With Us.
The pair, who starred in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's novel of the same name last year, have been embroiled in a bitter feud in recent months.
In December, the Gossip Girl actress, 37, launched legal proceedings against the 41-year-old – who also served as director – over claims she suffered 'severe emotional distress and pain, humiliation, embarrassment, belittlement, frustration and mental anguish'.
He denied all claims and filed a countersuit against her, husband Ryan Reynolds and their publicist, Leslie Sloane – alleging extortion and defamation – as well as separate documents against the New York Times.
According to People Magazine, Judge Lewis J Liman granted a motional to dismiss the $400m countersuit, as well as the defamation filing against the publication.
Now, according to reports from TMZ and ABC News, Baldoni made the decision to attend Lively's deposition in person today at her legal team's office in New York.
The private testimony, which may remain under seal, took place behind closed doors with only legal representatives, a court reporter, and a videographer present.
The deposition marks a dramatic milestone in the escalating legal saga between the two stars.
Despite the dismissed suits, tensions remain high — and public.
Back in May, Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, made headlines with a provocative suggestion: that Lively's deposition be held live at Madison Square Garden, with proceeds going to organizations supporting victims of domestic abuse.
'Since Ms. Lively is open to testifying, let's make it count,' he said at the time.
Though the MSG event never happened, Freedman confirmed this week that Baldoni was determined to be physically present for Lively's deposition – a clear signal that he intends to keep the pressure on ahead of their scheduled trial in March 2026. More Trending
Cameras will not be allowed in the courtroom, but both Lively and Baldoni have committed to taking the stand.
Lively's attorney, Mike Gottlieb, previously confirmed that Lively intends to testify when the case finally goes to trial.
While today's deposition was closed to the public, the symbolic weight of Baldoni's in-person attendance hasn't gone unnoticed.
Representatives for Lively, Baldoni, and Reynolds have yet to comment on today's proceedings.

Country legend Jeannie Seely dies aged 85 months after her husband
Country music icon Jeannie Seely has died at the age of 85. She was best known for her songs including 1960s hits Don't Touch Me, I'll Love You More (Than You Need) and Can I Sleep In Your Arms? released in 1973. Seely, who also played at legendary venue the Grand Ole Opry more than 5,300 times, died at Summit Medical Center in Tennessee on Friday. The Starlight Heir follows Suraya Saab, a bladesmith with dreams bigger than her small forge. When she receives an invitation to participate in a set of trials to become the prince's bride, she sees it as a chance at adventure. The only issue is the prince isn't actually looking for a bride, he's looking for the Starkeeper, a girl with the magic of stars in her blood. "Amalie manages to weave a fast-paced plot with a slow burn romance that leaves you breathless and yearning for more. If you are looking for something familiar and fantastical, this one is for you!" 5. For Ever by Jenny Hickman "Jenny Hickman is in her cosy fantasy era and I am obsessed. For Ever is about a young woman named Kerris who is on the hunt for a husband, but most importantly, love. Hulk Hogan's official death certificate revealed including details of what will happen to his remains
Hulk Hogan 's official death certificate went public Friday, eight days after the wrestling legend died in Florida at the age of 71. It emerged this Thursday that he succumbed to acute myocardial infarction, which is commonly referred to as a heart attack. Now, his death certificate has also been revealed, containing details of what is to be done with the late athlete's mortal remains. Hogan has been scheduled for cremation at the Bay Area Crematory in Clearwater, Florida, the city where he had been living at the time of his passing. His memorial service has been booked at the Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home in the same city, according to the death certificate obtained by TMZ. The document was issued this Thursday - the day his cremation approval report disclosed Hogan had been privately battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a form of cancer that affects white blood cells known as lymphocytes. A cremation approval report obtained by Page Six indicated that Hogan had previously been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation — a condition marked by a fast and irregular heartbeat, as defined by the Mayo Clinic. The wrestling legend died on July 24 in Florida, aged 71. Hogan's death was officially attributed to natural causes. Page Six also noted that the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center provided updates regarding his cremation. A spokesperson for the medical examiner's office told the outlet: 'I'm not aware of when Mr. Bollea will be cremated, only that we've received a request for cremation approval.' His official cause of death follows on from claims Hogan felt 'weak' and 'embarrassed' shortly before he died. Eric Bischoff, his good friend, shared details of his last-ever meeting with Hogan. Speaking on the 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff podcast, he explained: 'I could tell he was weak. He sounded tired. '[Hogan] said, 'I really want to see you, but I'm kind of embarrassed for you to see me this way because I've been pretty sick.' When I look at you, I don't see the same thing you see when you look in the mirror, so f*** that, I'll be down Monday.' Hogan's personality still shone through in their conversations, despite his health struggles. Eric shared: 'It was work for him to have a conversation but he was the same guy.' Earlier this week, Brooke Hogan took to social media to pay tribute to her dad and to reflect on their turbulent relationship. The 37-year-old star said on Instagram: 'When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us. I know he's at peace now, out of pain, and in a place as beautiful as he imagined. He used to speak about this moment with such wonder and hope. Like meeting God was the greatest championship he'd ever have.' Brooke also used her post to 'clear a few things up' regarding their estrangement. The realty star wrote: 'It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand. My father was confiding in me about issues weighing on his heart, both personal and business. I offered to be a life raft in whatever capacity he needed. I told him he had my support. I begged him to rest, to take care of himself.' Brooke and her husband, Steven Olesky, actually moved closer to the wrestler as he battled with health problems. She said: 'We had been through almost 25 surgeries together, and then all of a sudden he didn't want me at surgeries…everything started getting covered in a thick veil. It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn't get through. (sic)'
