Two teenage boys, 16 and 17, die after car crashes into tree
Officers were called to reports of the collision involving a grey Hyundai i20 on Corhampton Lane, Corhampton, shortly after 2.45am on Sunday, Hampshire Police said.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the two youths died at the scene.
Officers are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a fatal collision in Corhampton.

Their families have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers, the force said.

LONDON (AP) — A man from Australia has been charged with 'malicious mischief' for allegedly smashing a glass case holding the Stone of Destiny, an ancient symbol of Scottish nationhood. Arnaud Harixcalde Logan, 35, appeared at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday to face the charge, which is similar to vandalism. The 335-pound (150-kilogram) sandstone block is also known as the Stone of Scone (Skoon) — and was used in the crowning ceremonies of medieval Scottish monarchs at Scone Abbey, near Perth. It was stolen by England's King Edward I in the 13th century and taken to Westminster Abbey in London, where it was installed under the seat of the coronation chair. It has been used in coronations at the abbey ever since — first of English and then of British monarchs The English and Scottish crowns were united under one monarch in the 17th century. The stone's presence in London long irked Scottish nationalists. In 1950, it was stolen from Westminster Abbey by four Glasgow university students, but was returned in time for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. It was given back to Scotland in 1996, 700 years after its seizure, and displayed in Edinburgh Castle, with the understanding that it would return to England for use in future coronations. Sensitivities around the stone meant that it had to be moved to London in secrecy and amid tight security for the coronation of King Charles III in 2023. Last year it was put on display at the newly renovated Perth Museum where, according to the building's website, there are 'a range of 24/7 security measures in place at the Museum to protect this precious object.' Culture Perth and Kinross, which oversees the museum, said the stone wasn't damaged in the incident.

1 killed, several injured in overnight crash involving shuttle bus west of DIA: police
DENVER (KDVR) — One person has died and several others are seriously injured after an overnight crash involving a shuttle bus west of Denver International Airport, according to Commerce City police. The crash happened at Tower Road and 81st Street, near where Canopy Airport Parking, The Parking Spot West, and several car rental businesses are located. Commerce City police in a Facebook comment said the person who died was on the shuttle, though they did not say if the shuttle was related to the airport or any area businesses. ‘Why did it happen to us?': Family in fatal crash near Denver airport speaks

'Our roots run deep here, and it is unfortunate that this had to happen when we were trying to come visit and enjoy a place that we love so much,' Hughes said. Ian Hughes was riding to a rental car lot with members of his family visiting from Oregon when the unthinkable happened. 'One quick decision caused a lot of pain for a lot of people. It is tough to wrap your head around. It is tough to figure out why. Why did it happen to us,' Hughes said. Their bus was slammed by a pickup truck at the intersection of Tower Road and 81st Street. Multiple people were ejected from the bus, including Hughes grandfather, who passed away on the scene. 'I have been thinking a lot about the impact that he had on everyone around him. He was the kind of person who made a place better anywhere he went. He was happy, he was hardworking, he was willing to go above and beyond to help people,' Hughes said. Hughes was close with his grandfather, going to his house often growing up and working on projects together. Hughes' brother and father were also injured. His brother with a compound fracture in his leg and his dad suffered a skull fracture, vertebrae fracture, and a severe concussion. He is currently at UChealth University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora. 'He is not even quite sure where we are right now. So we are just kind of taking the steps slow with him, trying to keep him as calm as we can trying to relax him,' Hughes said. What was supposed to be a time to be together as a family now forever changed. 'Just take a moment, take a breath, and think before you do,' Hughes said. Hughes said he is sharing his story in hopes that drivers think twice before speeding and understand that one wrong move, one split-second decision, could change lives forever.
